Yeshua's Ministry

(Please note: This bible study can be directly accessed on the Internet at http://www.enterHiscovenant.com/BibleStudy20171125.htm)

Hi! I'm Pastor Floyd! I wish I had a photograph of you, too, so that I could visualize to whom I am talking! But Yahuah Hayah, the Self-Existent, Eternal I AM, the Creator of all and King over it, knows who you are; and that's all that matters!

Welcome to our friends all over the world! Whoever you are, whatever time of day it is for you, the amazing and wonderful thing is that we are together for this hour, fulfilling Yahuah's prophecy through Yeshua:

This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come! (Matthew 24:14)

Let us pray:

Our heavenly Father, I want to thank you for moving the hearts of your children to watch and listen to this broadcast in such amazing numbers and then to respond personally as they have, to D.J., in regard to what they have learned! Of primary interest, Father, has been those who have come wanting prayer for their individual needs! I speak to those needs, Father, of whatever they may consist, and command that they be met completely and adequately! And I thank you, Father, for the answer to those needs that you have now put into ha Kodesh Ruach, Your Holy Spirit, to bless all those who have shown their faith in You by asking for this prayer! We know, Father, by Your word through Yeshua, that for men these things are impossible but with you, our Creator and King, all things are possible; and we give you the praise and the glory that all things are now done to fulfill gloriously the desires of those who have come to us with faith in their hearts to believe that you have the answers for which they have been looking!

Thank you for being with us, now; and, as I speak your word, make it alive in the hearts of all who are hearing me.

We thank you for all of this, Father; and we pray it in the mighty name of Yeshua ha Mawshiyach, Whom we love with all our hearts! Amen!

Last week we were moving through Matthew's Gospel; and here is where we left off:

25 I thank thee, O Father, Lord of Heaven and Earth, because Thou hast hid these things, from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes! 26 Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight! (Matthew 12:25 and 26)

Yeshua's critical reference to "the wise and prudent" appears to be those who are regarded as such by the people of the world in accord with their warped standards! For I would like to be "wise and prudent" but only in Yahuah Hayah's sight, in accord with His precious values, wouldn't you?

On the other hand Yeshua had no problem with "babes"! And I believe that is because "these little ones who believe in Me" (Matthew 18:6), as He said, have not been "offended"! For He said:

Whoso shall offend one of these little ones who believe in Me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea! (Matthew 18:6)

Such is the passion of Yahuah Hayah for His precious children, especially in their young state before they have been "offended", the word "offend" being the translation of a word meaning "entice to sin"! (Strong: Greek: 4624) So one needs to be very careful about his or her effect on Yahuah's precious "little ones", especially in his or her conduct around such ones. For you know as well as I how quick "little ones" are to pick up on the conduct of those around them.

On the other hand, when we work diligently to teach "these little ones" Yahuah Hayah's words through Yeshua, they are the ones whom Yeshua knew to be open and receptive to His Father's revelations to them; and we have the inestimably blessed privilege of sharing these things with them when they are young and receptive to Him. Then Yeshua said, "unto the multitudes" (Matthew 11:7):

27 All things are delivered, unto Me, of My Father! No man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal Him. (Matthew 11:25 to 27)

You and I know little things about "the Father" and "the Son"; and those "little things" were revealed to us by Yeshua! But Those two mighty Persons of the Godhead know all things about each other, which obviously is what Yeshua said that we do not know. And all I have to say is, Praise Yahuah Hayah for "the little things" we do know about Him; and thank You, Yeshua, for revealing them to us. The apostle John wrote of what has been given us:

30 Many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book! 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through His name! (John 20:30 and 31)

And Yahuah Hayah saw that certain other things were written that we might know Him; He wrote, through Yeshua, through Moses:

He humbled thee and suffered thee to hunger and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know, that He might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of Yahuah doth man live! (Deuteronomy 8:3)

The word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it. (Deuteronomy 30:14)

And Yeshua said directly:

The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life! (John 6:63)

These things have I spoken unto you, that My joy might remain, in you, and that your joy might be full! (John 15:11)

These things I have spoken, unto you, that in Me ye might have peace! (John 16:33)

Yeshua continued:

28 Come, unto Me, all ye who labor and are heavy laden! And I will give you rest! 29 Take My yoke, upon you, and learn of Me! For I am meek and lowly in heart! And ye shall find rest unto your souls! 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light! (Matthew 11:28 to 30)

I have often quoted that familiar invitation by Yeshua, which says so many wonderful things about Him. You and I "labor" merely to stay alive! And without Yahuah Hayah in our life, to share the “burden”, it is "heavy" indeed! And Yeshua's promise to "give you rest" is welcome, indeed.

Yeshua commands us to "take His yoke, upon us, and learn of Him"! I would put it the other way around! Because without learning of Him, no one will take "Yeshua's yoke" upon him. In parts of this study I have spoken of Yeshua's "yoke" or the sacrifices and crosses He shows us must be born by His disciples to be His disciples; and, as I have said, they are not for "the faint of heart"! But what we do "learn of Him" is so full of blessing, salvation, joy and peace that to pass it up virtually is suicide!

Yeshua referred to Himself as "meek and lowly in heart"! Knowing the Father as He does, He could well be proud and highly in heart without any need to apologize! But His meekness and lowliness in heart speaks of the marvelous regard for Yahuah Hayah's children that bids Him be gentle with them and utterly respectful, because of their being made in the Father's "image" (Genesis 1:27) and loved by Him passionately or beyond our comprehension!

For those of us who have struggled with the demands of life without the special help that our heavenly Father is so willing to provide, we can relate well to Yeshua's promise of finding "rest unto your souls"! For the soul oppressed by Yahuah Hayah's judgments on the rebellious is anything other than restful!

Yeshua promised that His "yoke is easy" and His "burden is light"! He does not say that He comes with no "yoke' to be born by His disciples; and, as I have shown, the "burden" that comes with that "yoke" is frightening without the assurance that He shares it with us.

But Yeshua spoke from a broader perspective, comparing His "yoke" and "burden" with the ones that are born by the unbelieving or the rebellious, which make His requirements look like a handful of feathers! Matthew then continued with an interesting incident given rise by the hunger of His disciples! Matthew wrote:

1 Jesus went, on the Sabbath day, through the corn! His disciples were hungry and began to pluck the ears of corn and to eat. 2 But, when the Pharisees saw it, they said, unto Him, Behold, Thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the Sabbath day. 3 But He said, unto them: Have ye not read what David did, when he was hungry, and they who were with him, 4 how he entered into the house of God and ate the showbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them who were with Him but only for the priests? 5 Or have ye not read, in the law, how that on the Sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath and are blameless? 6 But I say, unto you, that in this place is One greater than the temple. 7 But, if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless! 8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the Sabbath day. (Matthew 12:1 to 8)

The "Son of man", as Yeshua often referred to Himself, was and is Lord of all! But He was addressing the issue raised by "the Pharisees" of His disciples' plucking "the ears of corn to eat ... upon the Sabbath day", which they chose to regard as "working" on the Sabbath. But in Yahuah Hayah's commandments concerning the Sabbath, He did not require that one fast on that day; so some handling of food was necessary for one to eat!

"Work" related to corn would involve picking the ears for others to eat; and, indeed, with respect to Yahuah Hayah's Sabbath, "ye shall do no work therein"! (Leviticus 23:3) But the disciples were doing only what was satisfying their own hunger, which is permitted on the Sabbath; but, being led of Satan, "the Pharisees" chose not to see it that way.

So Yeshua defended His disciples, by giving examples where David even ate "the showbread" (Exodus 25:30) in "the house of God" to satisfy the hunger of himself and of his men, that apparently being excusable in Yahuah Hayah's sight; and, if that were not enough, Yeshua also reminded "the Pharisees" of the tasks performed by the priests each Sabbath, which were certainly "work" for them but which were excusable; because Yahuah had commanded those tasks be performed on the Sabbath in behalf of the people to whom they ministered!

Had they been able to comprehend it, Yeshua would have had the Pharisees know that in Him was "One greater than the temple", which would have shut their mouths! But, of course, in their ignorance, they were blundering through that situation, making fools of themselves.

To top the whole situation off, Yeshua said: "If ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless!" He may as well have said, "If ye had the mind of God, ye would not have condemned the guiltless", for Yeshua knew that Yahuah Hayah's "mercy" was what all the "sacrifices" were about, not to mention one's observing of Yahuah's Sabbath! In fact, “mercy” is a prime virtue that characterizes Yahuah throughout all He does in relation to His children. Alleluia! He is worthy to be worshiped and praised at all times! Matthew wrote, of Yeshua:

9 When He was departed thence, He went into their synagogue! 10 And, behold, there was a man who had his hand withered. And they asked Him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath days? that they might accuse Him. 11 And He said, unto them, What man shall there be among you, who shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the Sabbath day, will he not lay hold, on it, and lift it out? 12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the Sabbath days. 13 Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And He stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other! 14 Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council, against Him, how they might destroy Him. 15 But, when Jesus knew it, He withdrew Himself, from thence: and great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all! 16 And He charged them that they should not make Him known, 17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah, the prophet, saying, 18 Behold My servant, Whom I have chosen; My Beloved, in Whom My soul is well pleased! I will put My Spirit, upon Him, and He shall show judgment to the Gentiles! 19 He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear His voice in the streets! 20 A bruised reed shall He not break, and smoking flax shall He not quench, till He send forth judgment unto victory. 21 And in His name shall the Gentiles trust! (Matthew 12:9 to 21)

Interestingly, Yeshua "went into their synagogue"! (Matthew 12:9) That was completely appropriate; because the synagogues of Yahuah Hayah's children were dedicated to worshiping and learning about Him, according to His "Word" (John 1:1); and that "Word" was Yeshua!

In this passage, when Yeshua did go "into their synagogue", He encountered "a man who had his hand withered"; and, being the servants of Satan that they had become, the Pharisees immediately recognized an opportunity to "accuse Him"; so "they asked Him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath days?" They knew, that likely Yeshua would heal the afflicted man; so they thought they would stir up a controversy about it even before He did so.

But Yeshua's handling of that challenge was instructional, in view of the human decency He brought to bear on the Pharisee's insistence that healing on the Sabbath was “work” and therefore unlawful in view of the commandments in Yahuah Hayah's Torah! So "He said, unto them, What man shall there be among you, who shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the Sabbath day, will he not lay hold, on it, and lift it out? 12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the Sabbath days."

That truth having been established, Yeshua then healed the "man who had his hand withered ... and it was restored whole, like as the other"! But, being the servants of Satan that they were, "the Pharisees went out, and held a council, against Him, how they might destroy Him".

But Yeshua "knew it" and "withdrew Himself, from thence: and great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all", charging them "that they should not make Him known"!

Matthew then applied, to that marvelous and amazing ministry, that "which was spoken by Isaiah, the prophet", which gives us the benefit of one of the most beautiful of the many prophecies that do foretell Yeshua's coming:

18 Behold My servant, Whom I have chosen; My Beloved, in whom My soul is well pleased! I will put My Spirit upon Him, and He shall show judgment to the Gentiles!

This word is in anticipation of Yeshua's saying:

Other sheep I have, who are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear My voice! And there shall be one fold and one Shepherd! (John 10:16)

When Yeshua first sent forth His disciples, He told them: "5 Go not into the way of the Gentiles ... 6 But go, rather, to the lost sheep of the house of Israel!" (Matthew 10:5 and 6) And that was strange in view of what He had told Abraham:

In thy seed shall all the nations of the Earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed My voice! (Genesis 22:18)

But, when Yeshua was ready to rejoin Yahuah the Father in Heaven, He commanded:

19 Go ye ... and teach all nations ... 20 ... to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. (Matthew 28:19 and 20)

Yahuah Hayah had not forgotten His promise to Abraham; it was simply a matter of His superb timing! And we need to remember that, when we are waiting for His answers to our prayers! His "superb timing" is still the determining factor in when He delivers those answers; and sometimes years are involved in those determinations!

The final verses of Isaiah's Messianic prophecy are beautiful!

19 He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear His voice in the streets! 20 A bruised reed shall He not break, and smoking flax shall He not quench, till He send forth judgment unto victory. 21 And in His name shall the Gentiles trust. (Matthew 12:9 to 21)

Yeshua had no cause to "strive" or "cry"; and neither do we! He knew that Yahuah Hayah was sovereignly in control of all things!

And Yeshua would be so gentle that He would not "break" so little as "a bruised reed"; and so, also, should we, having the utmost respect for all parts of Yahuah Hayah's marvelous creation!

Neither would Yeshua be so overbearing or blustery that He would "quench" so little as "smoking flax"! And we would do well to emulate that gentle and controlled example!

The end result of all that godly ministry would be that Yeshua would "send forth judgment unto victory"! And, by the descriptions of His return that we read in John's Book of the Revelation, that "judgment" will not be so gentle, certainly not with Yeshua's having returned to "smite the nations"! (Revelation 19:15)

But before that stern judgment, Yeshua will have won the Gentiles, who are you and me, dear friends, in Who's "name shall the Gentiles trust"! Matthew continued his fascinating narrative:

22 Then was brought unto Him one possessed with a devil, blind and dumb! And He healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw! 23 And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David? 24 But, when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils but by Beelzebub, the prince of the devils. 25 And Jesus knew their thoughts and said, unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation! And every city or house divided against itself shall not stand! 26 If Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? 27 And, if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. 28 But, if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you. 29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house. 30 He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who gathereth not with Me scattereth abroad! (Matthew 12:22 to 30)

When Yeshua healed "one possessed with a devil, blind and dumb", "the people were amazed", not only by the extraordinary healing but by the fact that they once knew Yeshua as merely "the son of David"! And that indeed is one of the amazing things about Yahuah Hayah's sending Him to Earth, which was in the form of a "son" - a fragile baby coming from a certain line of human ancestors, Who then grew to be the awesome "Son of God" (John 3:18), Whom He also was, doing the miraculous things He did!

But "the Pharisees" were blind to all that wonder, seeing in Yeshua only a competitor for their positions as religious leaders, one to be struck down; and they could do no better than to accuse Him of casting "out devils ... by Beelzebub, the prince of the devils"; but, rather than to act defensively, as we would, Yeshua remained the Master of the situation, pointing out the illogic of the Pharisees, saying:

25 Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation! (Matthew 12:25 to 28)

To "enter into the kingdom of Heaven" (Matthew 5:20) is a drastic step occasioned by a believer's death! But short of death, we are able to enjoy manifestations of "the Spirit of God" Who presides over Yahuah Hayah's kingdom; for He is everywhere, maintaining the creation that He made in the first place; and we are part of that creation and have the dominion by which to order ha Kodesh Ruach's help in any situation we want!

The power of ha Kodesh Ruach is the means by which one can "bind the strong man" to "spoil his house”, as Yeshua said, to show what must be done to retake children who have succumbed to demonic possession!

Yeshua then showed the "all-or-nothing" nature of Yahuah Hayah, by saying: "He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who gathereth not with Me scattereth abroad!" (Matthew 12:30) To create Yahuah had to "gather" things together and make them work! But, when He destroys, He "scatters" things, which is a lot easier to do! Likewise, those children of His who gather with Him are His creators, while those who "scatter abroad" are the destroyers or the servants of the Destroyer, who in his hatefulness tears down all that he can of Yahuah's wonderful creation! Yeshua then tells of a frightful truth:

31 All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come! (Matthew 12:31 and 32)

The fact that Yahuah Hayah will excuse or forgive "blasphemy" against His beloved "Word" (John 1:1) and "only begotten Son" (John 3:16) but not such speaking, "in this world" or "in the world to come" against ha Kodesh Ruach, His Holy Spirit, shows the high regard in which He holds this Silent Partner of His, Who powerfully works in the background, drawing no attention to Himself but powerfully performing the amazing acts of creation by which we have all that we have and ourselves in it, including the breath of life we enjoy each moment of our lives, not to mention the truth of Yahuah that we hear in our spirits; for ha Kodesh Ruach also is Yahuah's "Spirit of Truth"! (John 16:13)

Yeshua said that "God is a Spirit"! (John 4:24) So Yahuah the Father and ha Kodesh Ruach, His Holy Spirit, appear to be the same; yet there is a vast difference! While ha Kodesh Ruach shall "receive" what is Yeshua's and "show it unto you" (John 16:14) upon Yeshua's speaking it, the Father is the Person of the Godhead Who is the Initiator, Who has the images that Yeshua then speaks and that ha Kodesh Ruach then makes real or clothed with the material by which to know of it, enjoy it or fear it. Yeshua said:

All things that the Father hath are Mine! Therefore said I, that He [ha Kodesh Ruach] shall take of Mine and shall show it unto you. (John 16:15)

Having addressed the matter of "blasphemy" or "vilification ... against God" (Strong: Greek: 988), Yeshua then likened the speaker to one who makes a tree either "good" or "corrupt" with "fruit" that reflects what the tree has been made by the choice of the speaker to give such fruit! "For the tree is known by its fruit." (Matthew 12:33) This potential for misconduct seems to have vexed even Yeshua, Who then exclaimed:

O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh! 35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. (Matthew 12:34 and 35)

But a bright side remains! For we "being evil" can be made "good" by using our dominion to that affect and proving magnificently that "with men this is impossible! But with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26), so that "a good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things”! And that is important! For Yeshua declared

36 that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the Day of Judgment. 37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned! (Matthew 12:36 and 37)

One's "words" and his "works" are closely involved! For one does what he believes; and what one believes is the "treasure of the heart" out of which Yeshua said, one "bringeth forth ... things" either "good" or "evil"! "Things" can be either words or deeds! And that, too, is important; for Yahuah Hayah wrote, through Yeshua, through His faithful apostle John, of "the Day of Judgment":

They were judged, every man, according to their works! (Revelation 20:13)

Matthew continued his fascinating narrative:

Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. 39 But He answered and said, unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it but the sign of the prophet Jonah! 40 For, as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly, so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the Earth! (Matthew 12:38 to 40)

A friend of mine insists that what Yeshua was referring to as "a sign" was His body's being "three days and three nights in the heart of the Earth", only as in a grave! And, admittedly, a grave would be see-able and therefore qualify as a "sign"; but a grave is, hardly, "in the heart of the Earth"; and notwithstanding my friend's argument, Yeshua's apostle Peter gives us an account of what Yeshua did "in the heart of the Earth" that is both fascinating and instructive and hardly limited to a grave; Peter wrote:

18 Christ once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death, in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit, 19 By Whom also He went and preached unto the spirits in prison, 20 who sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water! (1st Peter 3:18 to 20)

Peter's explanation that "the spirits in prison" included those "who sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah" helps us to realize that "the spirits in prison" were dead people; and, considering that Yeshua Himself said that He would be "in the heart of the Earth" while He was dead, we can see that obviously He went there to minister to those "spirits", to show them the prints in His hands and feet and the gash in His side "to call ... sinners to repentance" (Matthew 9:13), which Yeshua said He came to do and which His laying down His life or submitting to the violent hands of wicked men was calculated to do; for, after Yeshua suffered that horrible lashing and crucifixion, Yahuah Hayah wrote, through His author:

How much more shall the blood of Christ ... purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (Hebrews 9:14)

The consciences of "the spirits in prison", also, needed to be purged; so, when Yeshua was "put to death, in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit", He went "to the heart of the Earth" to show them what men had done to Him and thereby call them "to repentance"!

We are indebted to a story told by Yeshua of a "beggar named Lazarus" (Luke 16:20) and "a certain rich man" (Verse 19) to know what things were like where "the spirits in prison" were! Luke wrote:

22 The beggar died and was carried by the angels into Abraham's Bosom! The rich man, also, died and was buried; 23 And in Hell he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, seeing Abraham afar off and Lazarus in his bosom! 24 And he cried, saying, Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue! For I am tormented in this flame! 25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented! (Luke 16:22 to 25)

From that brief description, we learn one important thing: that both "Abraham's Bosom" for the righteous and "Hell" for the wicked were, in that locality – obviously, "in the heart of the Earth" - within speaking distance of one another, so that Yeshua's ministry to "the spirits in prison" could, in that locality, effectively reach all the dead, who at that time were still "in the heart of the Earth", so that He could bring those who responded appropriately to His ministry to Heaven! And the result of that ministry was prophesied by Yahuah Hayah's psalmist:

Thou hast ascended on high! Thou hast led captivity captive! Thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that Yahuah God might dwell among them. (Psalm 68:18)

For, when we go to Yahuah Hayah's writing through Yeshua through His faithful apostle John, we read, of the "hundred forty and four thousand, having His Father’s name written in their foreheads" (Revelation 14:1) that they "were redeemed from the Earth" (Verse 3) and "from among men"! (Verse 4) And Yahuah wrote, through His author, of Yeshua:

Neither by the blood of goats and calves but by His own blood He entered in once, into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. (Hebrews 9:12)

So Yahuah Hayah's precious word all ties together by "rightly dividing the word of truth"! (1st Timothy 2:15) Yeshua continued:

41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment, with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and, behold, a greater than Jonah is here. 42 The queen of the south shall rise up, in the Judgment, with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the Earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here. (Matthew 12:41 and 42)

Will you and I be judged as failing to recognize the words of Yeshua, Who is the "greater" One?

I tremble to think what would have happened to me had a dear elderly couple not prayed for me every day for thirty years, until I bowed my knee and made things right with Yahuah Hayah, my Creator and King, and His beloved "Word" (John 1:1) and "only begotten Son"! (John 3:16) That precious couple lived to see me visit them and tell of my conversion and joyfully fulfill their prayer s for me, who had known my maternal grandmother and by Yahuah's action in my behalf had received His burden for me and obediently used their dominion in my behalf, until they saw the wonderful fruit of that loving spiritual labor!

Are you praying for anybody? I pray for everybody I see who appears to have a special problem of one kind or another; and every morning I pray, to the Father, for every child His throughout His creation, that he or she be "alive, loved, blessed, righteous, holy, perfect and in Your kingdom"! And I also pray that Yahuah Hayah's covenant be established "with all Your children everywhere"! Yeshua continued:

43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none! 44 Then he saith, I will return, into my house from whence I came out! And, when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept and garnished! 45 Then goeth he and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself! And they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be unto this wicked generation! (Matthew 12:43 to 45)

The key question in that interesting account is: Why did the returning spirit find its "house ... empty, swept and garnished" so that it begged to be filled "with himself" and "seven other spirits more wicked than himself"?

I believe the spirit's former "house" was that empty and inviting because the person who had previously been delivered of the spirit did not have ha Kodesh Ruach, Yahuah Hayah's Holy Spirit well established in his own spirit, Whom Yeshua said is given to those who "love Me" and "keep My commandments"! (John 14:15)

Certain Christians argue that those commandments are only those given by Yeshua as He was teaching Yahuah Hayah's beloved children – that they have nothing to do with Yahuah's Torah through Moses! But in making such a claim, they obviously are missing Yeshua's saying:

2 The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: 3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do! (Matthew 23:2 and 3)

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye pay tithe of mint, anise and cummin and have omitted the weightier matters of the law - judgment, mercy, and faith! These ought ye to have done and not to leave the other undone! (Matthew 23:23)

46 Had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed Me! For he wrote of Me! 47 But, if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe My words? (John 5:46 and 47)

If you like my kind of study, may I recommend our website, "enterhiscovenant.com", which, first of all, contains an invitation to phone or email requests for prayer, to which I or someone will respond, as we are able! Our website is full of stored sermons offering guidance through Yahuah Hayah's word on every topic imaginable! And the visitor is not obliged to sit and listen to my choice of topic; rather, through our topical index, "Convocations by Topics", he can go to any sermon that interests him and see what Yahuah has to say about the topic of the visitor's choice!

When people recite things to me, a lot of it goes by me without my being able to hear it or process it; so I like the written report, which sits before me so long as I need it before going on to the next idea, especially when I would like to take notes from it; and our website does exactly that, for your careful consideration!

You might wonder how this ministry manages to function in a world where a price is demanded for virtually everything that one needs! Faith Harvest Israel is a faith-based ministry, which relies entirely on the tithes and offerings of people like you, who appreciate what we are doing and make themselves a part of the ministry through their tithes and offerings! If you are one of those people whom Yahuah Hayah has led to be a part of this ministry, address your check or money order to "enterhiscovenant.com" and send it to 18627 Brookhurst St. 557, Fountain Valley, California 92708; and Yahuah will bless you for it.

Let us pray: Our heavenly Father, I thank you for this enlightening time you have given all of us together. I pray that it has been helpful to all who have watched this wonderful live video; and I pray that you bless all of them richly throughout the coming week, for the hunger in their hearts that prompted them to hear Your words! I know that each and every one of these children of Yours is precious to you and that you love him or her passionately! So it has been a great privilege to help you reach out to them and give them Your spirit and life through the words that we have spoken! Thank you for that fulfillment; all the praise and the glory for it be to you; blessed by your precious and holy name! Amen!

Amen! Alleluia!
