Yeshua's Ministry

(Please note: This bible study can be directly accessed on the Internet at http://www.enterHiscovenant.com/BibleStudy20180113.htm)

Hi! I'm Pastor Floyd! I wish I had a photograph of you, too, so that I could visualize to whom I am talking! But Yahuah Hayah, the Self-Existent, Eternal I AM, the Creator of all and King over it, knows who you are; and that's all that matters!

Welcome to our friends all over the world! Whoever you are, whatever time of day it is for you, the amazing and wonderful thing is that we are together for this hour, fulfilling Yahuah's prophecy through Yeshua:

This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come! (Matthew 24:14)

Let us pray:

Our heavenly Father, I want to thank you for moving the hearts of your children to watch and listen to this broadcast in such amazing numbers and then to respond personally as they have, to D.J., in regard to what they have learned! Of primary interest, Father, has been those who have come wanting prayer for their individual needs! I speak to those needs, Father, of whatever they may consist, and command that they be met completely and adequately! And I thank you, Father, for the answer to those needs that you have now put into ha Kodesh Ruach, Your Holy Spirit, to bless all those who have shown their faith in You by asking for this prayer! We know, Father, by Your word through Yeshua, that for men these things are impossible but with you, our Creator and King, all things are possible; and we give you the praise and the glory that all things are now done to fulfill gloriously the desires of those who have come to us with faith in their hearts to believe that you have the answers for which they have been looking!

Thank you for being with us, now; and, as I speak your word, make it alive in the hearts of all who are hearing me.

We thank you for all of this, Father; and we pray it in the mighty name of Yeshua ha Mawshiyach, Whom we love with all our hearts! Amen!

When we were moving through Matthew's Gospel, here is where we left off:

29 As they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed Him. 30 And, behold, two blind men sat by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by; and they cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, Thou Son of David! 31 But the multitude rebuked them, believing they should hold their peace! But they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, Thou Son of David! 32 And Jesus stood still, called them and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you? 33 They said, unto Him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened. 34 So Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately, their eyes received sight, and they followed Him. (Matthew 20:29 to 33)

The phenomenon of "a great multitude" following Yeshua shows how desperate Yahuah Hayah's beloved children are for the ministry of someone like Yeshua who, knowing what he is doing, is able to make a wonderful difference for them in the trials that beset them for not knowing what they are doing. It wasn't always that way, for any one of us. Each of us started out as "one of these little ones who believe in Me" (Matthew 18:6), Yeshua said. But He warned of those who "offend" them or "entice" them "to sin"! (Strong: Greek: 4624), which ends their belief in Yeshua; and they start believing the evil spirits who lie to them, to get them as far away from their belief in Yeshua as possible! And then the troubles begin!

Because Yeshua was so effective in His ministry, John the Baptist sent disciples of his to ask Yeshua: "3 Art Thou He Who should come? or do we look for another? 4 Jesus said, unto them, Go and show John those things that ye do hear and see! 5 The blind receive their sight! The lame walk! The lepers are cleansed! The deaf hear! The dead are raised up! And the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6 Blessed is he who shall not be offended in Me!" (Matthew 11:3 to 6)

There was a great expectancy, among "the children of Israel" (Deuteronomy 29:1) because of what Yahuah Hayah had said through Yeshua through Moses:

Yahuah, thy God will raise up, unto thee, a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto Me! Unto Him ye shall hearken! (Deuteronomy 18:15)

18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put My words in His mouth; and He shall speak, unto them, all that I shall command Him. 19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto My words, which He shall speak in My name, I will require it of Him. (Deuteronomy 18:18 and 19)

Of course Yeshua was the fulfillment of that prophecy! And, when He did come, He said: "49 I have not spoken of Myself; but the Father Who sent Me, He gave Me a commandment, what I should speak! 50 And I know that His commandment is life everlasting!" (John 12:49 and 50)

That is why John the Baptist asked, through his disciples: "Art Thou He who should come?" And Yeshua replied, making reference to the miracles that He was performing. Toward the end of His ministry,

8 Philip said, unto Him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus said, unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known Me, Philip? He who hath seen Me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? 10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of Myself: but the Father Who dwelleth in Me, He doeth the works. 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me; or else believe Me for the very works' sake. 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He who believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also! And greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father! (John 14:8 to 12)

Churches exist in which Yeshua's words are taken for what they meant; and miracles have been performed by them in His name! Yet, sad to say, I know of nothing done on the part of any minister that compares favorably with what Yeshua did while He was on Earth! So we wait to see the one who will do "greater works than these"!

Somehow word of Yeshua's works had reached the "two blind men sitting by the way side"; and they were determined that He not get by them without ministering to them! So they cried out, only to be "rebuked" by "the multitude"! But, wisely, they did not listen to the multitude. Rather, they listened to the voice in their spirits! And they were rewarded!

Take note how Yeshua made them speak what they wanted Him to do! He wanted them to use their "dominion"! (Genesis 1:28) And, when they complied, He healed them. So, is it any surprise that "they followed Him"? Matthew continued:

1 When they drew nigh unto Jerusalem and were come to Bethphage, unto the Mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples, 2 saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto Me! 3 And, if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them. 4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, 5 Tell ye the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, a colt, the foal of an ass. 6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them, 7 and brought the ass and the colt and put, on them, their clothes! And they set Him, thereon. 8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way! Others cut down branches, from the trees, and strawed them in the way. 9 And the multitudes who went before and who followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He Who cometh in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest! 10 And, when He was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this? 11 And the multitude said, This is Jesus, the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee. (Matthew 21:1 to 11)

Matthew was led, in his writing of this incident, to provide the prophetic background for it, so that we could appreciate its significance! He wrote: "All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, 5 Tell ye the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy King cometh, unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, a colt, the foal of an ass." The original reads:

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, thy King cometh, unto thee: He is just and having salvation, lowly and riding upon an ass, upon a colt, the foal of an ass. (Zechariah 9:9)

This was written by the prophet Zechariah, who, according to "Wikipedia", my Online Encyclopedia, began his career in 520 B.C., five hundred and fifty-three years before Yeshua made His triumphal entry to Jerusalem! And we are reminded, one more time, that Yahuah Hayah knows exactly what He is doing!

One might well ask: Why did "a very great multitude spread their garments in the way"? Why did "others cut down branches from the trees and strawed them in the way"? And why did "the multitudes who went before and who followed, cry, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He Who cometh in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!"

The only answer we can possibly give is that ha Kodesh Ruach, Yahuah Hayah's Holy Spirit, moved upon that multitude and guided them to render this remarkable worship of Yeshua, Who had so faithfully represented, to them, His beloved Father in Heaven! Matthew continued:

12 Jesus went, into the temple of God, and cast out all them who sold and bought in the temple and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers and the seats of them who sold doves! 13 And He said, unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer! But ye have made it a den of thieves! 14 The blind and the lame came, to Him, in the temple; and He healed them. 15 When the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that He did and the children crying in the temple and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David; they were sore displeased 16 and said, unto Him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings Thou hast perfected praise? (Matthew 21:12 to 16)

Yeshua was truly offended, by the profiteers who were using the activities of the temple to fill their pockets! Yahuah Hayah's commandments required the sacrifices of animals in the temple, some of which were "doves"; and, obviously, they had to come from somewhere! But to sully the temple by selling the animals in the temple was a profaning of it that offended Him greatly!

"The moneychangers" exacted a percentage of the money that they changed, for their profit, the changing of the money being made necessary, in that the priests of that day would not accept Roman coins, demanding that their own coins be used by the people paying their tithes and offerings! And I am sure that is the practice Yeshua had in mind when He accused them of being "a den of thieves", their making the people pay the extra fee for the changing, while they tried to obey Yahuah Hayah's commandments concerning the tithe!

But Yeshua had no problem healing Yahuah Hayah's beloved children in the temple, when "the blind and the lame came to Him" for the marvelous way He had of relieving them of their distresses!

But "the chief priests and the scribes" were another story, being "sorely displeased" when they "saw the wonderful things that He did and the children crying in the temple and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David"; but, when they confronted Yeshua about that delightful conduct, He "said, unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings Thou hast perfected praise?", His again showing great regard for the innocence of the young who have not been "enticed to sin"! Matthew continued:

17 He left them and went out of the city, into Bethany; and he lodged there. 18 In the morning, as He returned to the city, He hungered! 19 And, when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon but leaves! So He said, unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee, henceforward, for ever! And, presently, the fig tree withered away! 20 When the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away! 21 Jesus answered them, Verily I say, unto you, If ye have faith and doubt not, ye shall not only do this that is done to the fig tree but also, if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done! 22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive! (Matthew 21:17 to 22)

One is surprised by Yeshua's destroying a fig tree that simply had not reached its time for bearing fruit. Surely, as the One Who made "all things" (John 1:3), He knew, perfectly well, the seasonal nature that He gave to the fig tree; and I can only surmise that He was making a point in treating the tree as He did! For He said: "If ye have faith and doubt not, ye shall not only do this that is done to the fig tree but also, if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done!"

Yeshua then extended that effectiveness to "all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing,", giving the assurance that "ye shall receive"! How accommodating can things get?

This is Matthew's account of Yeshua's explaining the human "dominion" (Genesis 1:28), which waits only upon the "believing" of the one asking! How "believing" were the elderly couple who prayed daily for my salvation for thirty years? They lived to see their prayer rewarded, in my visiting them and assuring them that I had indeed come back to Yahuah Hayah! But I am sure that they were tempted, all along, to give up on me and call me "hopeless"! I am so glad that they didn't; and you will be glad that you did not give up on your prayer either! Concerning persistence in prayer, Yeshua said:

2 There was, in a city, a judge who feared not God neither regarded man! 3 And there was a widow, in that city; and she came, unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary! 4 And he would not, for a while: but afterward he said, within himself, Though I fear not God nor regard man, 5 yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. 6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith! 7 Shall not God avenge his own elect, who cry day and night unto Him, though He bear long with them? 8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily! Nevertheless, when the Son of man cometh, shall He find faith, on the Earth? (Luke 18:2 to 8)

The sad condition of the world indicates that Yahuah Hayah's "speed" is relative to the eternity that He has in which to accomplish His will! We are far less patient, having only the span of a physical lifetime to work with. Matthew continued:

23 When He was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came, unto Him, as He was teaching, and said, By what authority doest Thou these things? And who gave Thee this authority? 24 And Jesus said, unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things. 25 The baptism of John, whence was it? from Heaven or of men? And they reasoned, with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From Heaven, He will say, unto us, Why did ye not then believe him? 26 But, if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people! For all hold John as a prophet! 27 So they answered Jesus, saying, We cannot tell. And He said, unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things. (Matthew 21:23 to 27)

Clearly, Yeshua held contempt for these corrupt leaders of Yahuah Hayah's beloved children; and, by cleverly compromising them, He avoided explaining to them what they obviously did not believe in the first place. But we know by what authority He did what He did and Who gave Him that authority, His being "the Word" (John 1:1), Who "was God" (Verse 1) and Who made "all things" (Verse 3), Who explained:

13 When He, the Spirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth! For He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak! And He will show you things to come! 14 He shall glorify Me! For He shall receive of Mine and shall show it unto you. 15 All things that the Father hath are Mine! Therefore said I that He shall take of Mine and shall show it unto you. (John 16:13 to 15)

"All things that the Father hath" are His images of things, which He gives to Yeshua, His beloved "Word" (John 1:1) and "only begotten Son"! (John 3:16) Yeshua then speaks them, giving ha Kodesh Ruach, Yahuah Hayah's Holy Spirit, the authority to "show it unto you", by clothing it in the physical material by which we are able to see and enjoy it.

Yahuah's spirit realm, also, has substance; but it is so rare that we see it only as something we suppose we are imagining in our spirit!

As for "when He, the Spirit of Truth is come", I have to believe that refers to when He will have permission to manifest more freely among Yahuah Hayah's children! For I cannot imagine His not having been here from Day One of Yahuah's being, Who has always been, since our very being depends upon ha Kodesh Ruach's giving us that being in obedience to Yeshua's having spoken it according to Yahuah's image of it. Yahuah's recorder wrote, of the Earth's condition before He recreated it:

The Earth was without form and void! And darkness was upon the face of the deep! And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. (Genesis 1:2)

How about "in" the waters, moving the atoms and molecules of which it was comprised? Yeshua spoke, to His disciples, of ha Kodesh Ruach”s "coming":

Ye shall receive power, after the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me, in Jerusalem, in all Judea, in Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the Earth! (Acts 1:8)

If you wonder about Yahuah Hayah's "image", consider His recorder's writing: "God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created he them!" (Genesis 1:27) We assume that being created "in the image of God" means we were created in the likeness of Him; but it can also mean (and probably does mean) that we were created in the "image" of us that He gave Yeshua for Him to speak! For the "likeness" of Yahuah is vast and incomprehensible, being far beyond our power even to imagine!

Certain of our better attributes remind us of what we believe God is like; but we are capable of being, also, anything other than what we suppose God is like; so a latitude to vary from "the image of God", also, is built into us, requiring that the image of us spoken by Yeshua contained that latitude; or we would never see it, considering that it would not exist!

Of course, being God (John 1:1), Yeshua knew what the problem of "the chief priests and the elders of the people" was; and He addressed that matter:

28 What think ye? A certain man had two sons! And he came to the first and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard! 29 He answered, I will not: but afterward he repented and went! 30 And the father came to the second son and said likewise! And he answered, I go, sir: and went not! 31 Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith, unto them, Verily I say, unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. 32 For John came, unto you, in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not! But the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him. (Matthew 21:28 to 32)

Each of us has his rationale as to why he either believes or does not believe a certain thing; but, when it comes to believing Yahuah Hayah, by His voice in our spirits or His words in His Holy Bible, what we believe determines our eternal welfare! He said, through Yeshua:

God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life! (John 3:16)

That is the bottom line of our salvation - believing in Yeshua, Who is "the express image of His Person" - the Person of "God"! (Hebrews 1:3) And, as I said, we have our "rationale" is to why we believe or do not, but Yahuah Hayah's judgment is upon us accordingly, either to "have everlasting life"or to "perish", regardless of what our rationale of belief may have been!

Our excuses are our affair; Yahuah Hayah's judgment comes without regard to what our excuses may be, in accord with what we have been doing about them, of whatever they may have consisted!

So "believing" is part of what we do! And it is part of what Yahuah Hayah considers, as He is judging us. In fact, what we believe is the most powerful part of what we do; because it determines everything else that we do; for we do what we believe that we should do; right?

So, if we believe Yeshua, we will do what He says and thereby please the Father for Whom He speaks and go to Heaven when we die! And, if we do not believe Yeshua, we will not do what He says and walk contrary to the Father for Whom He speaks; and those who walk contrary to Him go to Hell, when they die, and experience Hell right here on Earth, while they are waiting! It is that simple!

Don't tell me you wonder whether you'll go to Heaven or Hell. You know exactly where you are in relation to doing what Yeshua has said to do! And He is the Person of God Who gave Moses the Torah or law! He said, of Moses: "He wrote of Me! If ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe My words?" (John 6:45) And that brings us right back to why "God gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life"! (John 3:16) For believing in Yeshua includes believing what Moses wrote, whether you happen to like that or not! In Matthew's gospel, Yeshua continues:

33 Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, who planted a vineyard and hedged it round about and dug a wine press in it and built a tower and let it out to husbandmen and went into a far country! 34 And, when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants, to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. 35 And the husbandmen took his servants and beat one, killed another and stoned another! 36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first! And they did unto them likewise! 37 But last of all he sent, unto them, his son, saying, They will reverence my son! 38 But, when the husbandmen saw the son, they said, among themselves, This is the heir! Come, let us kill him and seize on his inheritance! 39 So they caught him and cast him out of the vineyard and slew him. 40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? 41 They said, to Him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men and will let out his vineyard to other husbandmen, who shall render him the fruits in their seasons! 42 Jesus saith, unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone that the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner! This is Yahuah’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes? 43 Therefore say I, unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken, from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. 44 Whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken! But on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder! 45 And, when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard His parable, they perceived that He spake of them! 46 But, when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took Him for a prophet! (Matthew 21:33 to 46)

To us who know Yeshua's "gospel of the kingdom" (Matthew 4:23), this parable is hardly a parable; for it is, virtually, what we know happened, Yahuah Hayah's being the "householder", Who sent prophets to "the children of Israel" (Deuteronomy 29:1), who stoned them, and then His Son, Yeshua, Who was cast out of the vineyard and slain!

He let his audience say what "the lord of the vineyard" should do with the evil husbandmen, and His audience had no problem anticipating that the householder "will miserably destroy those wicked men and will let out his vineyard to other husbandmen, who shall render him the fruits in their seasons"!

People try to say that the “other husbandmen” are Gentiles; but Yeshua made that impossible by what He said:

Other sheep I have, who are not of this fold: them also I must bring! They shall hear My voice; and there shall be one fold and one Shepherd! (John 10:16)

"This fold" was, obviously, "the children of Israel"! (Deuteronomy 29:1) He said: "I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel!" (Matthew 15:24) Did He violate that commission, when He commanded His disciples "19 Go ye ... and teach all nations … 20 ... to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you"? (Matthew 28:19 and 20) It would seems so, until we take careful notice that the "other sheep" whom He "must bring" would "hear" His "voice; and there shall be one fold and one Shepherd"! (John 10:16)

That "one fold" can be none other than that of "Israel", which means "He will rule as God" (Strong: Hebrew: 3478) And only one Person in existence can do that; and that is Yeshua, Who said: "I am the Good Shepherd!" (John 10:11) So He is the Shepherd of the one fold, which has to be that of Israel!

So the "one fold" spoken of by Yeshua cannot be comprised of Gentiles; He said, of His "other sheep": "them also I must bring"! And their becoming a part of Israel means that they are no longer Gentiles but Israelites; and Yahuah Hayah defined them, through Yeshua, through Moses, by saying:

Yahuah shall establish thee an holy people unto Himself, as He hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of Yahuah, thy God, and walk in His ways! (Deuteronomy 28:9)

When it came time to identify who the "householder" was in His parable about the wicked "husbandmen", Yeshua began speaking of "the stone that the builders rejected", which "is become the head of the corner"! He was making reference to Yahuah Hayah's words through His psalmist:

22 The stone that the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner! 23 This is Yahuah's doing; it is marvelous in our eyes! (Psalm 118:22 and 23)

And from there Yeshua launched into a prophecy: "The kingdom of God shall be taken, from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof". In this saying the word "nation" is a translation of a word meaning "a race ... specially, a foreign (non-Jewish) one". (Strong: Greek: 1484) And again we are tempted to suppose that the Gentile church is that "nation"; but again I and the holy scriptures insist that in Yeshua's words His "other sheep" would "hear" His "voice" and become "one fold" under "one Shepherd"; and, He being that Shepherd, the fold can be none other than "the children of Israel" who "believe in Him", which means that they must believe in the writings of Moses (John 5:46 and 47), who "keep the commandments of Yahuah, thy God, and walk in His ways"! (Deuteronomy 28:9)

Even in the writings of John concerning Yahuah Hayah's vision to him we find that truth confirmed, his writing:

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus! (Revelation 14:12)

John had a few things to say about that subject when he was not speaking of his vision: he wrote:

Hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments! (1st John 2:3)

He who saith, I know Him and keepeth not His commandments is a liar! And the truth is not in him. (1st John 2:4)

Whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight! (1st John 3:22)

He who keepeth His commandments dwelleth in Him and He in him! (1st John 3:24)

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments! (1st John 5:2)

This is the love of God, that we keep His commandments! And His commandments are not grievous! (1st John 5:3)

This is love, that we walk after His commandments! (2nd John 1:6)

In these powerfully simple and clear verses John is giving the bottom line of anyone's believing in and following Yeshua, which is the bottom line of anyone's going to Heaven, let alone of being His "one fold" under "one Shepherd" (John 10:16), which is "the children of Israel" (Deuteronomy 29:1), not the uncircumcised Gentile church, who presume to love God while defying His commandments!

Yes, I know about the apostles' pacifying Paul, by writing to the Gentiles: "We have heard, that certain who went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment!" (Acts 15:24)

But John was not among those apostles; and his writings, let alone Yeshua's statements, say otherwise, putting the lie to those apostles who denied Yahuah Hayah's will as expressed through Yeshua through Moses and then through Yeshua in Person; and I cannot help but take notice of the judgment that came down on every one of the dissenting apostles but not on John, who was not a part of that grievous travesty! For church history tells us that every one of the apostles other than John was killed by the Romans!

Were those apostles "martyrs for Jesus"? True, they honored Him in certain ways; but the heart of the matter relates to what one does about the commandments of Yahuah Hayah's Torah! And they dishonored it and Him to "the brethren who are of the Gentiles"! (Acts 15:23) Even the greeting of their letter was in error; for men "of the Gentiles" are not "brethren", in that they are uncircumcised and therefore not believers in observing or putting a value on the commandments of Yahuah Hayah's Torah, and that is the qualifier for one's being one of "the children of Israel" (Deuteronomy 29:1), who "keep the commandments of Yahuah, thy God, and walk in His ways"! (28:9)

So all the apostles but John led the new Gentile converts astray, by writing to them that to "be circumcised and keep the law" was "subverting your souls" and declaring that "we gave no such commandment"! (Acts 15:24) One wonders where they were, when Yeshua commanded "the eleven disciples" (Matthew 28:16) "19 Go ye ... and teach all nations ... 20 ... to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you." (Verses 19 and 20)

One's "everlasting life" (John 3:16) is obtained only by being one who "believeth in Him" - namely, "the only begotten Son" of "God"! (Verse 16) And He said, of Moses: "He wrote of Me!" (John 5:47) So, "if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe My words?" Yeshua said, to the wicked leaders of Yahuah Hayah's beloved children:

43 The kingdom of God shall be taken, from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

How can a Gentile church bring "forth the fruits" of "the kingdom of God", while defying the commandments of Yahuah Hayah, by which He established His kingdom, refusing the circumcision and worshiping on the wrong day of the week? The answer is, simply, that they have not! The world has never been in worse shape; and the main church we know of has been impotent to help it be otherwise!

So it is no surprise that, when Yeshua returns, it will be with a sword in His mouth with which to "smite the nations" and "rule them with a rod of iron" (Revelation 19:15), which will include "the Gentile church", who have been no church yet under the delusion that they were doing God a favor by getting up in the morning.

If you like my kind of study, may I recommend our website, "enterhiscovenant.com", which, first of all, contains an invitation to phone or email requests for prayer, to which I or someone will respond, as we are able! Our website is full of stored sermons offering guidance through Yahuah Hayah's word on every topic imaginable! And the visitor is not obliged to sit and listen to my choice of topic; rather, through our topical index, "Convocations by Topics", he can go to any sermon that interests him and see what Yahuah has to say about the topic of the visitor's choice!

When people recite things to me, a lot of it goes by me without my being able to hear it or process it; so I like the written report, which sits before me so long as I need it before going on to the next idea, especially when I would like to take notes from it; and our website does exactly that, for your careful consideration!

You might wonder how this ministry manages to function in a world where a price is demanded for virtually everything that one needs! Faith Harvest Israel is a faith-based ministry, which relies entirely on the tithes and offerings of people like you, who appreciate what we are doing and make themselves a part of the ministry through their tithes and offerings! If you are one of those people whom Yahuah Hayah has led to be a part of this ministry, address your check or money order to "enterhiscovenant.com" and send it to 18627 Brookhurst St. 557, Fountain Valley, California 92708; and Yahuah will bless you for it.

Let us pray: Our heavenly Father, I thank you for this enlightening time you have given all of us together. I pray that it has been helpful to all who have watched this wonderful live video; and I pray that you bless all of them richly throughout the coming week, for the hunger in their hearts that prompted them to hear Your words! I know that each and every one of these children of Yours is precious to you and that you love him or her passionately! So it has been a great privilege to help you reach out to them and give them Your spirit and life through the words that we have spoken! Thank you for that fulfillment; all the praise and the glory for it be to you; blessed by your precious and holy name! Amen!

Amen! Alleluia!
