Yeshua's Ministry

(Please note: This bible study can be directly accessed on the Internet at http://www.enterHiscovenant.com/BibleStudy20180318.htm)

Hi! I'm Pastor Floyd! I wish I had a photograph of you, too, so that I could visualize to whom I am talking! But Yahuah Hayah, the Self-Existent, Eternal I AM, the Creator of all and King over it, knows who you are; and that's all that matters!

Welcome to our friends all over the world! Whoever you are, whatever time of day it is for you, the amazing and wonderful thing is that we are together for this hour, fulfilling Yahuah's prophecy through Yeshua:

This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come! (Matthew 24:14)

Let us pray:

Our heavenly Father, I want to thank you for moving the hearts of your children to watch and listen to this broadcast in such amazing numbers and then to respond personally as they have, to D.J., in regard to what they have learned! Of primary interest, Father, has been those who have come wanting prayer for their individual needs! I speak to those needs, Father, of whatever they may consist, and command that they be met completely and adequately! And I thank you, Father, for the answer to those needs that you have now put into ha Kodesh Ruach, Your Holy Spirit, to bless all those who have shown their faith in You by asking for this prayer! We know, Father, by Your word through Yeshua, that for men these things are impossible but with you, our Creator and King, all things are possible; and we give you the praise and the glory that all things are now done to fulfill gloriously the desires of those who have come to us with faith in their hearts to believe that you have the answers for which they have been looking!

Thank you for being with us, now; and, as I speak your word, make it alive in the hearts of all who are hearing me.

We thank you for all of this, Father; and we pray it in the mighty name of Yeshua ha Mawshiyach, Whom we love with all our hearts! Amen!

When we were moving through Mark's Gospel last week, here is where we left off:

28 Then Peter said, to Him, Lo, we have left all and have followed Thee! 29 Jesus answered, Verily I say, unto you, There is no man who hath left house, brethren, sisters, father, mother, wife, children or lands for My sake and the gospel’s, 30 but he shall receive an hundredfold, now, in this time, houses, brethren, sisters, mothers, children and lands, with persecutions, and in the world to come eternal life! 31 But many who are first shall be last and the last first! (Mark 10:28 to 31)

Mark reported only Peter's observation that he and the other disciples had "left all and followed Thee"; but Matthew's account is more complete! And he adds, to Peter's observation a key question, which makes more understandable the answer that Yeshua gave! Peter's question was: "What shall we have therefore?" (Matthew 19:27)

The answer that Yeshua gave as reported by Matthew is also more complete, having begun with the promise: "In the Regeneration, when the Son of man shall sit on the throne of His glory, ye who have followed Me, also, shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel!" (Matthew 19:28)

Then Yeshua added the promise that Mark gives: "29 There is no man who hath left house, brethren, sisters, father, mother, wife, children or lands for My sake and the gospel’s, 30 but he shall receive an hundredfold, now, in this time, houses, brethren, sisters, mothers, children and lands, with persecutions, and in the world to come eternal life!" (Mark 10:29 and 30)

That is an impressive promise! "An hundredfold" is one hundred times what Yahuah Hayah's child originally "left" for Yeshua's "sake and the gospel's"; and it also relates to "now, in this time!" So, if that can be believed - and "God is not a man, that he should lie" (Numbers 23:19) - those who have given up anything for Yeshua's "sake and the gospel's" will have to figure out quickly what poor to give this amazing return it to; because He warned one rich young man: "sell that thou hast, and give to the poor" (Matthew 19:21), explaining to His disciples afterward that "it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God"! (Verse 24) And whether any one of us does "enter into" that kingdom is a heavy duty eternal consideration!

Having astounded His disciples with that wisdom, Yeshua concluded that session, saying, "But many who are first shall be last and the last first!" (Mark 10:31) which returns us to the truth He expounded on several occasions that all is not what it appears to be; and God ought to know; for He "knoweth the hearts"! (Acts 15:8)

So, regardless of what kind of front Yahuah Hayah's children may be into putting on, they will be judged according to what is in their "heart" or spirit; because His "judgments are true and righteous altogether"! Mark continued:

32 They were in the way, going up to Jerusalem! Jesus went before the twelve: and they were amazed, as they followed, and were afraid! For He told them what things would happen to Him, 33 saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests and the scribes! They shall condemn Him to death and deliver Him to the Gentiles! 34 And they shall mock Him, scourge Him, spit upon Him and kill Him: and the third day He shall rise again! (Mark 10:32 to 34)

Yeshua's foreknowledge of the details of all that He was facing while resolutely heading directly into it is against all the reason that we humans would normally use by which to decide anything! Yet He made certain that He told His disciples about it, so that, when it came to pass, they would be prepared for it, if that be possible, which it was not! At the very least they knew about it; but who could absorb the reality of such an abomination committed openly in front of an untold number of witnesses, which had included those who had known Him and loved Him while He was among them during His short life on Earth?

Yahuah Hayah knew what He was doing! Because the trauma produced by this "shock and awe" strategy against Satan, His avowed enemy, shook His children to the foundations of their beings! And, when one reads in the Holy Bible the dismal accounts of the repeated misbehavior of His "chosen people" Israel, let alone the contempt heaped upon Him by the Gentiles the world over, he could not agree more wholeheartedly that they deserved to be shaken till they rattled in their boots!

That is what Yahuah Hayah hoped to achieve by commanding Yeshua to submit to this insane abuse by Yahuah Hayah's beloved children; He did achieve it, in some observers of it; and the rest are lost, having been hardened against His truth so badly they cannot be shaken by anything!

We might ask, How about those who die having never heard of Yeshua's suffering and death at the hands of His own religious leaders?

Observe, please, whom Yeshua referred to as "these little ones who believe in Me"! (Matthew 18:6) How does one "believe" in anyone whom he does not know? So how did "these little ones" come to know Yeshua? Yahuah Hayah's words through His psalmist give us the answer:

9 Thou art He Who took me out of the womb! Thou didst make me hope, when I was upon my mother’s breasts! 10 I was cast upon Thee from the womb! Thou art my God from my mother’s belly! (Psalm 22:9 and 10)

The intimacy with the One Who created us that is described here as existing "from my mother's belly" speaks of the "knowledge of God" (Hosea 6:6) that we gain before we are even born! So, with that in view, who wants to argue that he never knew "this gospel of the kingdom of God"? (Matthew 24:14)

If knowing that gospel is so critical to one's entering that kingdom and if Yahuah Hayah introduces Himself to us while still in our mother, do you not suppose that His critically precious gospel would be about the first thing He would instill into the spirit of His new child?

Indeed, each member of humanity is without excuse! And Yahuah Hayah's workers in "this gospel of the kingdom" pray and preach merely to turn around the "little ones" whom Satan has "offended" (Matthew 18:6) or "enticed to sin" (Strong: Greek: 4624), sometimes with success, sometimes not!

Yahuah Hayah said, through Yeshua, through Moses: "Choose life!" (Deuteronomy 30:19) He knew we have the choice! And He holds us responsible for the one we make, from being one of "these little ones who believe in Me" all the way up to being one of the reprobates in charge of the German Holocaust!

Yeshua makes no apology for describing the horrors of Hell! It is there and very real for those who are in it. He worked to make it real before Yahuah Hayah's beloved children made the mistake of being committed to it. I have simply being helping Him along with that critical work. Mark continued:

35 James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came unto Him, saying, Master, we would that Thou do for us what we desire! 36 And He said, unto them, What would ye that I should do for you? 37 They said, unto Him, Grant, unto us, that we may sit, one on Thy right hand and the other on Thy left hand in Thy glory! 38 But Jesus said, unto them, Ye know not what ye ask: can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? 39 And they said, unto Him, We can. And Jesus said, unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized with shall ye be baptized! 40 But to sit on My right hand and on My left hand is not mine to give! Rather, it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared! 41 And, when the ten heard it, they began to be much displeased with James and John. 42 But Jesus called them, to Him, and saith, unto them, Ye know that they who rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority, upon them. 43 But so shall it not be among you! Whosoever will be great, among you, shall be your minister! 44 And whosoever of you will be the chiefest shall be servant of all! 45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister and to give His life a ransom for many! (Mark 10:35 to 45)

In Mark's rendition of this incident "The sons of Zebedee" had the "unmitigated gall" to suppose they were worthy to sit in the places of honor by Yeshua "on Thy right hand and the other on Thy left hand in Thy glory", while the other disciples were not! But don't be too quick to judge them; for assuming airs for which we are not worthy is a common fault among human kind. In fact, service to the spirit of anger requires the assumption that the person or persons against whom one becomes angry should not have mistreated him, had no right to mistreat him or that he is not worthy of mistreatment, all of this based upon one's elevated regard for himself that sees himself "above all that", which may or may not be true!

Yeshua saw a crisis developing among His high-spirited disciples, over the issue raised by "the sons of Zebedee"; and He quickly defused it, by jerking the rug of a worldly notion out from under them. To get their attention, He pointed out how "they who rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority, upon them." And who among any of us would not like to be one of those "who rule over" others or "exercise authority upon them"?

As I said, Yeshua jerked that "rug" out from under the disciples, by declaring: "So shall it not be, among you! Whosoever will be great, among you, shall be your minister! And whosoever of you will be the chiefest shall be servant of all! For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto but to minister and to give His life a ransom for many!"

When Yeshua appeared to the disciples after rising from the dead, He said, to them: "As My Father hath sent Me, even so send I you!" (John 20:21) In order for that to happen, they would have to realize that they, too, "came not to be ministered unto but to minister and to give their lives a ransom for many"! Peter wrote:

21 Hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow His steps: 22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in His mouth: 23 Who, when He was reviled, reviled not again; when He suffered, He threatened not but committed Himself to Him Who judgeth righteously! (1st Peter 2:21 to 23)

Mark continued:

46 They came to Jericho: and, as He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimæus, the son of Timæus, sat by the highway side begging! 47 And, when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, saying, Jesus, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me. 48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace! But he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me. 49 So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called! And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort; rise! He calleth thee. 50 And he, casting away his garment, rose and came, to Jesus. 51 And Jesus said, unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said, unto Him, Lord, that I might receive my sight! 52 And Jesus said, unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole! And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, in the way! (Mark 10:46 to 52)

Please notice that Yeshua asked "blind Bartimaeus" "What wilt thou that I should do unto thee?", thus obligating him to use his dominion by saying what he wanted! To say that required that he believe Yeshua could do what he wanted. Therein lay his "faith", which, when Bartimaeus spoke it, Yeshua then declared "hath made thee whole"! This incident along with so many other examples in the bible serves to make us realize and appreciate the power of our dominion to fulfill Yahuah Hayah's will for us; so we learn never to speak the problem but always to speak the answer to it. Mark continued:

1 When they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, He sendeth forth two of His disciples, 2 saying unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him and bring him. 3 And, if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither! 4 And they went their way and found the colt tied, by the door without; and they loosed him. 5 Certain of them who stood there said, unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt? 6 And they said, unto them, even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go! 7 So they brought the colt, to Jesus, and cast their garments on it; and He sat, upon it. 8 Many spread their garments, in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way. 9 They who went before and they who followed cried, saying, Hosanna! Blessed is He Who cometh in the name of Yahuah! 10 Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, Who cometh in the name of Yahuah! Hosanna in the highest! 11 Jesus entered, into Jerusalem and into the temple! And, when He had looked round about upon all things and the eventide was come, He went out, unto Bethany, with the twelve! (Mark 11:1 to 11)

Matthew's version of Yeshua's grand last entrance to Jerusalem was more complete, including the fact that it fulfilled that "4 which was spoken by the prophet, saying, 5 Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon a colt, the foal of an ass." (Matthew 21:4 and 5) The prophecy itself reads:

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, thy King cometh, unto thee: He is just and having salvation, lowly and riding upon a colt the foal of an ass! (Zechariah 9:9)

Matthew's version also told how Yeshua "12 went into the temple of God and cast out all them who sold and bought in the temple and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers and the seats of them who sold doves, 13 saying unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer! But ye have made it a den of thieves!" (Matthew 21:12 and 13) And Matthew also told how "the blind and the lame came, to Him, in the temple; and He healed them." (Verse 14) Mark continued:

12 On the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, He was hungry! 13 And, seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, He came, if haply He might find any thing thereon! But, when He came to it, He found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet! 14 So Jesus said, unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever! And His disciples heard it. (Mark 11:12 to 14)

Yeshua “was God”! (John 1:1) So He had created the tree to do exactly what it was doing, which was to grow through the seasons and to bear fruit at the time Yahuah Hayah had set for it to bear, which makes of Yeshua's reaction to "the time of figs" not being "yet" childishly impatient and destructive! Only by Yeshua's instruction of the next morning do we learn His purpose in ending that tree's life!

In the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots! 21 And Peter said, unto Him, Master, behold, the fig tree that Thou cursedst is withered away! 22 Jesus said, unto them, Have faith in God! 23 For verily I say, unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things that he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith! 24 Therefore I say, unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. (Mark 11:20 to 24)

There is Yeshua's detailed description of how the “dominion” works that Yahuah Hayah gave to Adam and Eve “over every living thing that moveth upon the Earth”! (Genesis 1:28) And I dare say it is one of the most important parts of holy scripture! For, obviously, we do not go around moving mountains, that's being rather something that Yahuah's Holy Spirit might do, Who flung the galaxies into their places and is keeping them there.

So we learn, from that amazing passage, how we, as Yahuah Hayah's beloved children, have been given a measure of authority even over His Kodesh Ruach or Holy Spirit to accomplish the "impossible" that Yeshua said is "with men"! (Matthew 19:26)

Leonard Caldwell teaches that stress impairs the immune system of our bodies, leaving them open to all kinds of disease! But, when we know that we have the authority by which to obtain the supernatural help of ha Kodesh Ruach to accomplish anything we want to accomplish, what room is left for "stress"?

This is an awesome power put into the hands of Yahuah Hayah's beloved children, which means that we can and do misuse it, occasionally, which puts us in serious jeopardy even for our eternal lives, as Yeshua warned:

21 Not every one who saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven but he who doeth the will of My Father Who is in Heaven! 22 Many will say, to Me, in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? and in Thy name have cast out devils? and in Thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye who work iniquity! (Matthew 7:21 to 23)

Anything that is not in accord with "the will of" Yeshua's "Father" is "sin"! And "sin is the transgression of the law"! (1st John 3:4) For Yahuah Hayah has made His will known through the commandments of His Torah or law, which is why His "blessings come on thee and overtake thee" (Deuteronomy 28:2) when you "hearken diligently unto the voice of Yahuah, thy God, to observe to do all His commandments"! (Verse 1) But for those who "wilt not hearken unto the voice of Yahuah, thy God, to observe to do all His commandments, all these curses shall come upon thee and overtake thee". (Verse 15)

Yahuah Hayah sometimes tells us in our spirits to do things that one cannot find in His Torah or law, except for His commandment to "love Yahuah, thy God, with all thine heart, with all thy soul and with all thy might"! (Deuteronomy 6:5) For, if one is doing that, the specific thing that He tells us in our spirit to do is a personal commandment, which the child of His who loves Him will certainly do! Mark continued:

25 When ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any, that your Father Who is in Heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. 26 But, if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father Who is in Heaven forgive your trespasses. (Mark 11:25 and 26)

This is Mark's version of the warning Yeshua gave that Matthew attached to Yeshua's giving His sample prayer! The prayer contains the line, "Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors" (Matthew 6:12); and then Matthew reported Yeshua's also saying: "14 If ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you! 15 But, if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." (Matthew 6:14 and 15)

This shows, in relation to prayer, the perfect justice of Yahuah Hayah that Yeshua expressed by saying: "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over shall men give into your bosom! For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again!" (Luke 6:38) Mark continued:

27 They came again to Jerusalem: and, as He was walking in the temple, there came to Him the chief priests, the scribes and the elders, 28 who asked him, By what authority doest Thou these things? and who gave Thee this authority? 29 And Jesus answered them, I will also ask of you one question. Answer Me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things. 30 The baptism of John, was it from Heaven or of men? 31 And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From Heaven; He will say, Why then did ye not believe him? 32 But, if we shall say, Of men, they feared the people: for all men counted John as a prophet indeed! 33 And they answered Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus said, unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things. (Mark 11:27 to 33)

You and I have a sense of humor; and we of course got it in Yahuah Hayah's making us "in His own image" (Genesis 1:27), which means that He has a sense of humor also! And I believe Yeshua's cleverness in putting "the chief priests, the scribes and the elders" in an impossible position included an element of humor, as well! Yahuah wrote, through Solomon: "I will laugh at your calamity!" (Proverbs 1:26) In his next chapter Mark continued, in the same manner, speaking still to “the chief priests, the scribes and the elders”:

1 He spoke, to them, by a parable: A certain man planted a vineyard, set an hedge about it, dug a place for the wine vat, built a tower, let it out to husbandmen and went into a far country. 2 And at the season he sent, to the husbandmen, a servant, that he might receive, from the husbandmen, of the fruit of the vineyard! 3 But they caught him, beat him and sent him away empty! 4 Again, he sent, unto them, another servant; and at him they cast stones, wounded him in the head and sent him away, shamefully handled! 5 Again, he sent another; and him they killed and many others, beating some, killing some. 6 Having yet, therefore, one son, his well beloved, he sent him last, unto them, saying, They will reverence my son! 7 But the husbandmen said, among themselves, This is the heir! Come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours! 8 And they took him, killed him and cast him out of the vineyard. 9 What shall, therefore, the lord of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the husbandmen and will give the vineyard unto others! 10 And have ye not read this scripture; The stone that the builders rejected is become the head of the corner! 11 This was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes? 12 They sought to lay hold on Him but feared the people! For they knew that He had spoken the parable against them! So they left him and went their way! (Mark 12:1 to 12)

This parable is, virtually, a synopsis of Yahuah Hayah's Holy Bible! It is the story of His having given His earthly kingdom into the hands of "husbandmen"! He said, of them:

Thou art an holy people unto Yahuah, thy God: Yahuah, thy God, hath chosen thee to be a special people unto Himself, above all people that are upon the face of the Earth! (Deuteronomy 7:6)

Yet the record of the behavior of that "holy people" is the reprehensible list of abominations that Yeshua capsuled and told above as a "parable"!

One part of Yeshua's parable interests me especially, which is the reasoning He gave to "the husbandmen" when the owner of the vineyard finally sent his son! "This is the heir," they said, "Come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours!"

In the live situation that the parable was intended to represent, "the chief priests, the scribes and the elders", in whom we recognize "the husbandmen", consistently showed that they had no clue as to Who Yeshua really was; and about all I have ever been able to glean from the scriptural account of "the live situation" is that their motive for killing Him was, as Pilate keenly sensed, "that for envy they had delivered Him". (Matthew 27:18)

Yeshua was upstaging "the chief priests, the scribes and the elders", who up to Yeshua's appearance had enjoyed the deference and financial support of the people as their leaders in all matters pertaining to their religion! But, when Yeshua did appear among them, He was performing miracles and speaking wisdom beyond anyone's understanding; so everyone's attention was on Him! And that was a hard pill for the Jewish leaders to swallow! So they set out to "destroy Him". (Matthew 12:14)

But Yahuah Hayah, the self-existent, eternal I AM, is not to be trifled with; He said, through Yeshua through Moses after the words He spoke above:

8 Because Yahuah loved you and because He would keep the oath that He had sworn unto your fathers, hath Yahuah brought you out, with a mighty hand, and redeemed you, out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh, king of Egypt! 9 Know, therefore, that Yahuah, thy God, He is God, the faithful God, Who keepeth covenant and mercy with them who love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations, 10 and repayeth them who hate Him, to their face, to destroy them. (Deuteronomy 7:8 to 10)

In relation to that warning, we are mindful of the Roman siege against Jerusalem in 70 A.D., during which "not … one stone" was left "upon another, that" was "not ... thrown down" (Matthew 24:2) in the temple, not to mention the people who were killed. Mark continued:

13 They sent, unto Him, certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch him in His words! 14 And they said, unto Him, Master, we know that Thou art true and carest for no man: for Thou regardest not the person of men but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Cæsar, or not? 15 Shall we give, or shall we not give? But He, knowing their hypocrisy, said, unto them, Why tempt ye Me? Bring Me a penny, that I may see it. 16 And they brought it. And He said, unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said, unto him, Caesar’s! 17 And Jesus said, unto them, Render to Cæsar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s. And they marveled at Him. (Mark 12:13 to 17)

Are not you and I marveling, as well? Yet, is it any surprise that He by Whom "all things were made" (John 1:3) should astound His children with such wisdom? John wrote, of Him that "in Him was life! And the life was the light of men!" (Verse 4) Do you not feel that "life", as we bask in the light of it through these words? I feel so wonderfully privileged to be able to bring such words to you; and I praise Yahuah Hayah that He graciously gave me these words to share with you! Mark continued:

18 Then came, unto Him, the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection! And they asked him, 19 Master, Moses wrote, unto us, If a man’s brother die and leave his wife behind him and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother! 20 Now there were seven brethren: and the first took a wife and, dying, left no seed! 21 And the second took her and died, neither left he any seed: and the third likewise! 22 The seven had her and left no seed: and, last of all, the woman died. 23 In the Resurrection, therefore, when they shall rise, whose wife shall she be of them? For the seven had her to wife. 24 And Jesus said, unto them, Ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God! 25 For, when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage but are as the angels who are in Heaven! 26 As touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read, in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob? 27 He is not the God of the dead but the God of the living! Ye therefore do greatly err! (Mark 12:18 to 27)

How comforting it is, to have the words of Him who made us and Who knows all things straighten such notions out for us! I hear the observations and conclusions of people around me, who believe they have the last word on most everything, doing exactly as did these Sadducees, using their logic to bring them to conclusions that simply reveal their ignorance of how things really are! I revel in "how things really are", don't you? Yeshua said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life! No man cometh unto the Father but by Me!" (John 14:6) How blessed we are to be hearing from the Embodiment of Truth! Mark continued:

28 One of the scribes came and, having heard them reasoning together and perceiving that He had answered them well, asked Him, Which is the first commandment of all? 29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; Yahuah, our God is One! 30 And thou shalt love Yahuah, thy God, with all thy heart, with all thy soul, with all thy mind and with all thy strength! This is the First Commandment. 31 The second is like it, namely this: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself! There is none other commandment greater than these. 32 And the scribe said, unto Him, Well, Master, Thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but He! 33 And to love Him, with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul and with all the strength and to love his neighbor as himself is more than all burnt offerings and sacrifices! 34 And, when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, He said, unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God! And no man after that durst ask Him any question! (Mark 12:28 to 34)

How would you like to have the Creator of all tell you that you "are not far from the kingdom of God"? We gain that assurance, the more we expose ourselves to the words of Yahuah Hayah, through Yeshua, His "Word" (John 1:1) and "only begotten Son" (John 3:16), Who said that having "righteousness" is the key to "enter into the kingdom of Heaven"! (Matthew 5:20) And how does one "have righteousness"?

Yahuah Hayah said, through Yeshua, through Moses: "It shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments!" (Deuteronomy 6:25) "Keep" and "observe" are translations of a word meaning "guard"! (Strong: Hebrew: 8104; Greek: 5083) And we "guard" what we put a value on; so, in each place where Yahuah or Yeshua asks that we "keep" or "observe" His commandments, we can substitute the words "put a value on"; and that is something one can do in a heartbeat! It is how we regard Yahuah's commandments, which elicits His mercy and our place in His kingdom, not how we do them, which is covered by His "judgments" and what He gives us to experience, in or out of His kingdom!

If you like my kind of study, may I recommend our website, "enterhiscovenant.com", which, first of all, contains an invitation to phone or email requests for prayer, to which I or someone will respond, as we are able! Our website is full of stored sermons offering guidance through Yahuah Hayah's word on every topic imaginable! And the visitor is not obliged to sit and listen to my choice of topic; rather, through our topical index, "Convocations by Topics", he can go to any sermon that interests him and see what Yahuah has to say about the topic of the visitor's choice!

When people recite things to me, a lot of it goes by me without my being able to hear it or process it; so I like the written report, which sits before me so long as I need it before going on to the next idea, especially when I would like to take notes from it; and our website does exactly that, for your careful consideration!

You might wonder how this ministry manages to function in a world where a price is demanded for virtually everything that one needs! Faith Harvest Israel is a faith-based ministry, which relies entirely on the tithes and offerings of people like you, who appreciate what we are doing and make themselves a part of the ministry through their tithes and offerings! If you are one of those people whom Yahuah Hayah has led to be a part of this ministry, address your check or money order to "enterhiscovenant.com" and send it to 18627 Brookhurst St. 557, Fountain Valley, California 92708; and Yahuah will bless you for it.

Let us pray: Our heavenly Father, I thank you for this enlightening time you have given all of us together. I pray that it has been helpful to all who have watched this wonderful live video; and I pray that you bless all of them richly throughout the coming week, for the hunger in their hearts that prompted them to hear Your words! I know that each and every one of these children of Yours is precious to you and that you love him or her passionately! So it has been a great privilege to help you reach out to them and give them Your spirit and life through the words that we have spoken! Thank you for that fulfillment; all the praise and the glory for it be to you; blessed by your precious and holy name! Amen!

Amen! Alleluia!
