Yeshua's Ministry

(Please note: This bible study can be directly accessed on the Internet at http://www.enterHiscovenant.com/BibleStudy20180408.htm)

Hi! I'm Pastor Floyd! I wish I had a photograph of you, too, so that I could visualize to whom I am talking! But Yahuah Hayah, the Self-Existent, Eternal I AM, the Creator of all and King over it, knows who you are; and that's all that matters!

Welcome to our friends all over the world! Whoever you are, whatever time of day it is for you, the amazing and wonderful thing is that we are together for this hour, fulfilling Yahuah's prophecy through Yeshua:

This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come! (Matthew 24:14)

Let us pray:

Our heavenly Father, I want to thank you for moving the hearts of your children to watch and listen to this broadcast in such amazing numbers and then to respond personally as they have, to D.J., in regard to what they have learned! Of primary interest, Father, has been those who have come wanting prayer for their individual needs! I speak to those needs, Father, of whatever they may consist, and command that they be met completely and adequately! And I thank you, Father, for the answer to those needs that you have now put into ha Kodesh Ruach, Your Holy Spirit, to bless all those who have shown their faith in You by asking for this prayer! We know, Father, by Your word through Yeshua, that for men these things are impossible but with you, our Creator and King, all things are possible; and we give you the praise and the glory that all things are now done to fulfill gloriously the desires of those who have come to us with faith in their hearts to believe that you have the answers for which they have been looking!

Thank you for being with us, now; and, as I speak your word, make it alive in the hearts of all who are hearing me.

We thank you for all of this, Father; and we pray it in the mighty name of Yeshua ha Mawshiyach, Whom we love with all our hearts! Amen!

When we were moving through Mark's Gospel last week, here is where we left off:

66 As Peter was beneath, in the palace, there cometh one of the maids of the high priest! 67 And, when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked, upon him, and said, Thou, also, wast with Jesus of Nazareth. 68 But he denied, saying, I know not, neither understand I what thou sayest! And he went out into the porch; and the cock crew. 69 And a maid saw him again and said, to them who stood by, This is one of them. 70 And he denied it again! And a little after, they who stood by said, again, to Peter, Surely thou art one of them: for thou art a Galilaean, and thy speech agreeth thereto. 71 But he began to curse and to swear, saying, I know not this man of whom ye speak! 72 And the cock crew a second time; and Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny Me thrice! And, when he thought thereon, he wept! (Mark 14:66 to 72)

Again, Yeshua's foreknowledge of things yet to happen is amazing! One cannot imagine how that can be possible! Still, He knew exactly what Peter was going to do and when he was going to do it; and, we learn, from Luke's version of this incident that, practicing what He was preaching, Yeshua prayed for Peter. He said, to him:

31 Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat! 32 But I have prayed, for thee, that thy faith fail not! And, when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren! 33 And he said, unto Him, Lord, I am ready to go with Thee, both into prison and to death! 34 And He said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest Me. (Luke 22.31 to 34)

Mark continued:

1 straightway in the morning the chief priests held a consultation, with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, carried Him away and delivered Him to Pilate! 2 And Pilate asked Him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And He said, unto him, Thou sayest it. 3 And the chief priests accused Him of many things: but He answered nothing! 4 Pilate asked Him again, saying, Answerest thou nothing? Behold how many things they witness against thee. 5 But Jesus yet answered nothing; so that Pilate marveled! 6 Now at that feast he released, unto them, one prisoner, whomsoever they desired! 7 And there was one named Barabbas, who lay bound with them who had made insurrection with him, who had committed murder in the insurrection. 8 And the multitude, crying aloud, desired him to do as he had ever done unto them. 9 But Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release unto you the King of the Jews? 10 For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy! 11 But the chief priests moved the people, that he should rather release Barabbas unto them. 12 And Pilate said again, unto them, What will ye then that I shall do unto Him Whom ye call the King of the Jews? 13 And they cried out again, Crucify Him. 14 Then Pilate said, unto them, Why? What evil hath He done? And they cried out the more, exceedingly, Crucify Him. 15 So Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas, unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged Him, to be crucified! 16 The soldiers led Him away, into the hall called Prætorium; and they called together the whole band! 17 They clothed Him with purple, platted a crown of thorns and put it, about his head! 18 Then they saluted Him, Hail, King of the Jews! 19 They smote Him, on the head, with a reed, and spat, upon Him; and, bowing their knees, they worshiped Him. 20 When they had mocked Him, they took off the purple, from Him, and put His own clothes on Him and led Him out, to crucify Him. 21 They compelled one Simon, who passed by, ... to bear His cross! 22 And they brought Him unto the place called Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, The Place of a Skull! 23 They gave Him to drink wine mingled with myrrh! But He received it not! 24 And, when they had crucified Him, they parted His garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take! 25 It was the third hour ... 26 and the superscription of His accusation was written over, THE KING OF THE JEWS! (Mark 15:1 to 26)

It is interesting that Pilate got right down to business, wanting to know if Yeshua was “the King of the Jews”! And, from Yeshua's answer - “Thou sayest it!” - we surmise that He said He was! As for the accusations of the chief priests, He would not answer, letting their accusations stand, for which reason “Pilate marveled!"

We learn, from Mark, that “the chief priests moved the people, that he should rather release Barabbas unto them”; and they also seemed determined that Pilate “crucify” “the King of the Jews”! And knowing that “the chief priests had delivered Him for envy”, Pilate protested that demand, saying, “Why! What evil hath He done?” But “they cried out the more, exceedingly, Crucify Him!” So, being a politician, Pilate was “willing to content the people” and “released Barabbas, unto them, delivering Jesus, when he had scourged Him, to be crucified!”

So there they are – the sordid details of what led to Yeshua's being “scourged” and “crucified”; and the fact that He was scourged and crucified by members of the human race has the heads of some of us bowed, in utter shame, for that supreme violence to justice and human decency! The rest of us are apparently too calloused to care! And that will cost them a time in Hell and, ultimately, an eternity in Yahuah Hayah's “Lake of Fire”! (Revelation 20:15)

Having created us, Yahuah Hayah knew the depths of degradation of which we would be capable! So He also created the perfect punishment for those who would fulfill that capability. But by the same token, He also knew the heights of glory of which we would be capable; and He had waiting, at the same time, Heaven, His place of abode and the perfect reward for those who did rise to that amazing eventuality, fulfilling the beautiful desire that drove His creativity to the glorious extent that it has manifested, creating children capable of such an amazing range of possibilities!

Make no mistake about it; the life Yahuah Hayah gives His children on Earth is only a proving ground to determine which direction His children will go in response to His urgent plea to them: “Choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live!” (Deuteronomy 30:19)

The atheists argue that, if there is a God, He is grievously unfair in sending His children to drastically differing destinies that last eternally for what those children choose to do during a few fleeting years on Earth! But, apparently, He is sufficiently knowledgeable about His human creations to know that what they choose to do during the years He gives them on Earth becomes a pattern that will persist for the rest of eternity! So He had Heaven, His abode, to receive the grateful among His children and created  Hell and the Lake of Fire to receive the ungrateful, their choice of disregard for Him having been grievously unfair to Him, Whose passionate love for them knew no bounds, from the time of their conception to the time of their final placement!

The fairness or not of this arrangement depends, greatly, upon how much Yahuah Hayah's children have known about Him and the alternatives He has set before them to consider! And what settles in my spirit is the knowledge that Yeshua has given us of “these little ones who believe in Me”! (Matthew 18:6) To “believe” in someone requires that one know him; and Yahuah Hayah wrote, through His psalmist:

9 Thou art He Who took me out of the womb! Thou didst make me hope, when I was upon my mother’s breasts! 10 I was cast, upon Thee, from the womb! Thou art my God, from my mother’s belly! (Psalm 23:9 and 10)

That is the view of life and of its Creator with which we start out, which is born of the knowledge of Himself that He gives us even from our conception! What we do with that knowledge is, then, the determining factor in where we eventually go! All ministry in His service is, simply, an effort such as what I am doing right now in this Bible Study to revive the knowledge of Him that every one of us had during our earliest years, before we were “offended” (Matthew 18:6) or “enticed to sin”! (Strong: Greek: 4624)

“Sin” is “the transgression of the law”! (1st John 3:4) “Transgression” is the translation of a word meaning “violation of law” or “wickedness”! (Strong: Greek: 458) At some point in our life we are “offended” or enticed to violate Yahuah Hayah's revelation of Himself and of what He wants from His children through the commandments He gives, which comprise His law or Torah! And to receive that offense one must believe that Yahuah is a liar, which is unfair to Him, Who created us, gave us the breath of life and has continued to love us through all our ups and down, beliefs and doubts!

In His Torah, Yahuah Hayah's requirement for receiving His “blessings” (Deuteronomy 28:2), which includes “eternal life” (Matthew 19:16 and 17),  is to “hearken diligently unto the voice of Yahuah, thy God, to observe and to do all His commandments ”! (Deuteronomy 28:1) That “voice” is the one we heard in our “mother's belly”, the one that made us “hope” when we were on our “mothers' breasts”; and it is the one we continually hear in our spirit!

But other voices also come, from every direction imaginable, which are the ones in Satan's service, which “offend” us or entice us to violate the Torah and Him Who gave it to us.

Yahuah Hayah told Adam: “16 Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat! 17 But of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” (Genesis 2:16 and 17) To know “evil” one must do evil and experience the consequences of that doing, in the course of which one learns that doing evil is not the better choice! But, if he has got far distant from what he once knew on his “mother's breasts”, chances are that he has forgot that knowledge and needs reminding of it; but, even then, chances are that his heart has been hardened against it, to where he is lost forever from participating in the glory that Yahuah has desired for His beloved children!

But, anticipating that eventuality, Yahuah Hayah even had a remedy for that, having written through His prophet: “I will take the stony heart out of their flesh and will give them an heart of flesh!” (Ezekiel 11:19) But He also gave His beloved children a will of their own! And, if they choose to resist receiving His “heart of flesh”, they can do so and suffer the everlasting consequences of that decision! But do not speak, to me, of Yahuah's presumed unfairness! To reject Him or act as though He does not exist is infinitely more unfair than Yahuah ever thought of being.

Yeshua's having been scourged and crucified was bad enough! But I would not want to be in the shoes of those “soldiers” who hatefully “mocked Him”! To wake up someday realizing that one had behaved so atrociously toward the Person of the Godhead Who had made him would be, in my view, an excruciatingly embarrassing moment! Yet that gross behavior, too, lay within the range of human action of which we are capable!

On the other end of things, “Simon”, who was “compelled … to bear Yeshua's cross”, when he someday realized Whom he served in that humble way would have been astonished and gratified, to have been so favored! And each one of us who has heard and taken to heart the story or “gospel” of what was done to Yeshua that infamous day share, with Simon, the burden of that cross upon our hearts, responding in the only way we know how, praising, worshiping, loving and adoring Him Who “humbled Himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross”! (Philippians 2:8)

Yeshua would not take the intoxicating drink of “wine mingled with myrrh” intended, of course, to dull the pain of the nails in His hands and feet. If He was to suffer in this way, He wanted nothing to detract from its horrendous injustice! For He knew that was the point of His Father's asking Him to do that. John wrote that Yeshua was “the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world” (Revelation 13:8), which would have been when He had agreed to lay down His life that their beloved children be called “to repentance” (Matthew 9:13) and thereby be saved!

The casting of lots for Yeshua's garments was a fulfillment of the prophecy Yahuah Hayah gave through His psalmist: “They part My garments among them and cast lots upon my vesture” (Psalm 22:18), which is one more amazing example of Yahuah's and Yeshua's amazing ability to know what will happen before it happens.

Mark wrote that “the superscription of His accusation was written over, THE KING OF THE JEWS”! But John gives us the benefit of some sparks that flew over that writing:

19 Pilate wrote a title and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS. 20 This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, Greek and Latin! 21 Then said the chief priests of the Jews, to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that He said, I am King of the Jews. 22 Pilate answered, What I have written I have written! (John 19:19 to 22)

Knowing “that the chief priests had delivered Him for envy” (Mark 15:10), Pilate now used one of their many accusations against Yeshua to declare ironically to all who observed that the “crime” for which He was being crucified was that of being “THE KING OF THE JEWS”, which thing is, of course, true, as John wrote, of Yeshua's return, that He was not only the King of the Jews but that He is “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS”! (Revelation 19:16) Mark continued:

27 With Him they crucified two thieves, the one on His right hand and the other on His left! 28 And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, He was numbered with the transgressors! 29 They who passed by railed on him, wagging their heads and saying, Ah, Thou Who destroyest the temple and buildest it in three days, 30 Save Thyself and come down from the cross. 31 Likewise, also, the chief priests, mocking, said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; Himself He cannot save. 32 Let Christ, the King of Israel, descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe! And they who were crucified with Him reviled Him. (Mark 15:27 to 32)

The parade of pitifully deceived watchers of Yeshua's death continued; and we are sickened by their cruel jests at the Creator of all, Who had given up His physical body to torture and death at the hands of His enemies! So it is no wonder that Yahuah Hayah's prophecy concerning Yeshua's return includes the traumatic reaction that will take place at His children's witnessing that return:

I will pour, upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications! They shall look upon Me Whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn, for Me, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness, for Me, as one Who is in bitterness for his firstborn! (Zechariah 12:10)

As for those “who were crucified with Him” to “revile Him”, Luke's version tells it differently:

35 One of the malefactors who were hanged railed on Him, saying, If Thou be Christ, save Thyself and us! 40 But the other rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly! For we receive the due reward of our deeds! But this man hath done nothing amiss. 42 And he said, unto Jesus, Lord, remember me, when Thou comest into Thy kingdom! 43 And Jesus said, unto him, Verily I say, unto thee, To day shalt thou be with Me in paradise! (Luke 23:35 to 43)

For the malefactor with faith in Yeshua to have treated Him with such reverence, one has to know about Him; and, although he may have been receiving “the due reward of” his “deeds”, his knowledge of Yeshua, however it had come to him, saved him; and that is why I feel so good about what we are doing here today, spreading the “knowledge of God” (Hosea 6:6) all over the world! Mark continued:

33 When the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land, until the ninth hour. 34 At the ninth hour Jesus cried, with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken Me? 35 Some of them who stood by, when they heard it, said, Behold, He calleth Elias! 36 And one ran and filled a sponge full of vinegar, put it on a reed and gave Him to drink, saying, Let us see whether Elias will come to take him down. 37 Then Jesus cried, with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost. 38 And the veil of the temple was rent in twain, from the top to the bottom! 39 When the centurion who stood over against Him, saw that He so cried out and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly, this man was the Son of God! (Mark 15:33 to 39)

Some people speculate that Yeshua's crying out “My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me” was because Yahuah Hayah had forsaken Him, there on the cross, because presumably, as some believe, “He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him”! (Isaiah 53:5), this being in the sense that Yeshua said, of the wine that He gave His disciples: “This is My blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins!” (Matthew 26:28)

For Yeshua's blood to have been “shed … for the remission of sins”, some believe that Yeshua literally took on Himself “the sins of the whole world”, dying in mankind's place and even going to Hell in their place. As John wrote: “He is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world!” (1st John 2:2) And we find that “propitiation” is the translation of a word meaning “atonement”! (Strong, Greek: 2434)

But this interpretation of the language we have concerning Yeshua's blood is contrary to Yahuah Hayah's Torah, in which He commanded: “The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.” (Deuteronomy 24:16)

So, if “the substitutionary theory of atonement” is not correct, we must look elsewhere for an understanding of the purpose of Yeshua's laying down His life in obedience to His Father's commandment! (John 10:17 and 18)

Yeshua said it, Himself! He said: “I am ... come to call ... sinners to repentance!” (Matthew 9:13) “Sin” is “the transgression of the law” (1st John 3:4); and “repent” (Matthew 4:17) means to “think differently” (Strong: Greek: 3340); so Yeshua came to call “sinners” to “think differently” about their “transgression of the law”!

Yahuah Hayah wrote, through His author: “How much more shall the blood of Christ ... purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” (Hebrews 9:14) And that idea mirrors what He said concerning the sacrifices He commanded in His Torah, which “could not make him who did the service perfect as pertaining to the conscience”! (Hebrews 9:9)

One's “conscience” is the part of his spirit in which he believes what is right and wrong! And where can what is “right and wrong” in Yahuah Hayah's sight be found other than in His Torah or law?

Yahuah Hayah's “atonement” always violates an innocent animal! It is the demonstration of what sin does to Him, Who is innocent; and Yeshua's death was exactly that same demonstration, except on an horrendous level involving not only violence to a man but to God Himself, which John said that Yeshua was (John 1:1), as “the express image” (Hebrews 1:3) of God!

So we find Yahuah Hayah's word continually associating His atonement, including that of Yeshua, with violence to innocence, His hope being that, with all that clear demonstration of what sin does, His children would one day wake up and realize that “sin” or “transgression of the law” is unacceptable, repent of it and thereby be saved!

For observing to do “all these commandments” (Deuteronomy 6:25) is “our righteousness” (Verse 25); and Yeshua said that “righteousness” is the key to one's entering “the kingdom of Heaven”!

The forgiveness that is so desperately sought for one's salvation is not about whether one is put to death or not! Rather, it is a matter of where one goes, if he is put to death or dies from natural causes: it is all the same, if one has believed in Yeshua, even as the dying thief who had been crucified with Yeshua was promised to be with Yeshua in Paradise! He said:

God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life! (John 3:16)

Believing in Yeshua is believing what He has said, which, as we are finding out, is quite a study! But He assured “the scribes and Pharisees” (John 8:3): “I am the light of the world! He who followeth Me shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life!” (Verse 12)

31 If ye continue in My word, then are ye My disciples indeed! 32  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free! (Verses 31 and 32)

A “free” person is not on his way to Hell! I have to believe that Yeshua's “freedom” is being free of all that bothers a person; and, when one learns the power of the dominion that Yeshua described, “with men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26); for if one has “faith in God” (Mark 11:22), he can “say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea” (Verse 23); and if he “shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that those things that he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith!” (Verse 23)

Having “whatsoever” one “says” covers a lot of territory, including where one goes when he dies! And, “when ye pray”, if you “believe that ye receive” what you have prayed”, “ye shall have” what you have prayed (Mark 11:24), which leaves the person who believes Yeshua in these matters without a care in the world or in Heaven!

But Yeshua gave us a word of caution about the use of one's dominion: He said: “ Not every one who saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven but he who doeth the will of My Father Who is in Heaven!”

22 Many will say to Me, in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? and in Thy name have cast out devils? and in Thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye who work iniquity! (Matthew 7:22 and 23)

So, although Yahuah Hayah has given His “dominion” (Genesis 1:28) to each and every one of us, His beloved children, it is critical that we “do the will of” Yeshua's “Father Who is in Heaven” in our use of the dominion; and from where do we learn what is “the Father's will” other than from His Torah or law and from all the commandments that He has made a part of His Torah?

So, when we follow the chain of considerations that we continually encounter in Yahuah Hayah's Holy Bible, we end up back to observing, keeping, guarding or putting a value on the commandments of His Torah!

The rending of “the veil of the temple” when Yeshua died, is significant! Up until Yahuah Hayah's beloved children had done the terrible thing they did to Yeshua, they had been spared the full force of Yahuah's judgments! But now no such mercy remained, which is ironic; because most people believe, especially under Paul's teaching, that Yeshua died to exercise extraordinary mercy in obtaining forgiveness “for the sins of the whole world”! (1st John 2:2) with no reference, as Yeshua gave it, to His calling “sinners to repentance”! (Matthew 9:13)

But, if Yeshua did die to “call … sinners to repentance”, whether they do or not is all the more important! For Yeshua's laying down His life to obtain that repentance from Yahuah Hayah's sinning children puts a tremendous responsibility upon them to exercise it; and failing to do so has been met with severe judgment from the time of Yeshua's death onward!

Mark wrote that “the centurion who stood over against Him ... said, Truly, this man was the Son of God! And I do believe that centurion expresses the reaction of many people who have been exposed to the horrible yet enlightening truth of what Yeshua endured for the salvation of Yahuah Hayah's beloved children! Mark continued:

40 There were also women looking on afar off: among whom was Mary Magdalene and Mary, the mother of James the less and of Joses and Salome 41 ... and many other women who came up with Him to Jerusalem! (Mark 15:40 and 41)

Mark gives honorable mention to the women who followed Yeshua all the way from His home in Galilee to His death! And, as always, the women are due appropriate recognition for their vital role in caring for their loved ones. Mark continued:

42 When the even was come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the Sabbath, 43 Joseph of Arimathaea, an honorable counselor, who also waited for the kingdom of God, went in, boldly, unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus! 44 And Pilate marveled that He was already dead! And, calling unto him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been dead. 45 And, when he knew it of the centurion, he gave the body to Joseph. 46 And he bought fine linen, took Him down, wrapped Him in the linen, laid Him in a sepulcher that was hewn out of a rock and rolled a stone to the door of the sepulcher. 47 And Mary Magdalene and Mary, the mother of Joses, beheld where he was laid! (Mark 15:42 to 47)

This description by Mark completes the terrible side of the picture that we have had to view in our study of these difficult but important matters. From here on things get better! And I praise Yahuah Hayah for that improvement! Yeshua did not remain long in that tomb so lovingly provided by Joseph of Arimathaea; and the hearts of His loved ones leaped at His appearing to them. Mark continued:

1 When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James and Salome had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint Him. 2 And very early in the morning, the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulcher, at the rising of the sun! 3 And they said,L among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulcher? For it was very great! 4 But, when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: 5 And, entering into the sepulcher, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment! And they were affrighted! 6 But he saith, unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, Who was crucified! He is risen! He is not here! Behold the place where they laid him. 7 But go your way, tell His disciples and Peter that He goeth before you into Galilee! There shall ye see Him, as He said unto you. 8 They went out quickly and fled, from the sepulcher; for they trembled and were amazed! Neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid! (Mark 16:1 to 8)

Imagine the joy, unbelief, amazement and fear, all mixed together, that those dear women felt, as the angel told them the good news! We serve a great God! And He has answers for the worst of our problems, when we trust Him for it; but, as the women showed, one can scarcely absorb what He does for us, at times. Mark continued:

9 When Jesus was risen, early the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven devils! 10 And she went and told them who had been with Him, as they mourned and wept! 11 But, when they had heard that he was alive and had been seen of her, they believed not! 12 After that he appeared, in another form, unto two of them, as they walked into the country! 13 So they went and told it unto the residue: and neither believed they them! 14 Afterward He appeared unto the eleven, as they sat at meat, and upbraided them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had believed not them who had seen Him after He was risen! (Mark 16:9 to 14)

Yeshua had told them several times He would rise again; so why they were not expecting Him is a wonder! Those poor, dear disciples! But He had chosen them to start His church! We can well take note that at this point in time they had not been empowered with Yahuah Hayah's Holy Spirit, as they soon would be, when I am sure their reactions to things was considerably improved! Mark then gives us the benefit of Yeshua's “Great Commission”!

15 He said, unto them, Go ye, into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believeth and is baptized shall be saved! But he who believeth not shall be damned! 17 These signs shall follow them who believe; In My name shall they cast out devils! They shall speak with new tongues! 18 They shall take up serpents; and, if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover! 19 So, then, after the Lord had spoken unto them, He was received, up into Heaven, and sat on the right hand of God! 20 And they went forth and preached every where, the Lord working with them and confirming the word with signs following! Amen. (Mark 16:15 to 20)

If you like my kind of study, may I recommend our website, "enterhiscovenant.com", which, first of all, contains an invitation to phone or email requests for prayer, to which I or someone will respond, as we are able! Our website is full of stored sermons offering guidance through Yahuah Hayah's word on every topic imaginable! And the visitor is not obliged to sit and listen to my choice of topic; rather, through our topical index, "Convocations by Topics", he can go to any sermon that interests him and see what Yahuah has to say about the topic of the visitor's choice!

When people recite things to me, a lot of it goes by me without my being able to hear it or process it; so I like the written report, which sits before me so long as I need it before going on to the next idea, especially when I would like to take notes from it; and our website does exactly that, for your careful consideration!

I can also remind you that I have put the original script for each of these bible studies on our website; and they, too, are available there, for review or for clarification of material possibly obscured by poor technology, lack of hearing or whatever!

You might wonder how this ministry manages to function in a world where a price is demanded for virtually everything that one needs! Faith Harvest Israel is a faith-based ministry, which relies entirely on the tithes and offerings of people like you, who appreciate what we are doing and make themselves a part of the ministry through their tithes and offerings! If you are one of those people whom Yahuah Hayah has led to be a part of this ministry, address your check or money order to "enterhiscovenant.com" and send it to 18627 Brookhurst St. 557, Fountain Valley, California 92708; and Yahuah will bless you for it.

Let us pray: Our heavenly Father, I thank you for this enlightening time you have given all of us together. I pray that it has been helpful to all who have watched this wonderful live video; and I pray that you bless all of them richly throughout the coming week, for the hunger in their hearts that prompted them to hear Your words! I know that each and every one of these children of Yours is precious to you and that you love him or her passionately! So it has been a great privilege to help you reach out to them and give them Your spirit and life through the words that we have spoken! Thank you for that fulfillment; all the praise and the glory for it be to you; blessed by your precious and holy name! Amen!

Amen! Alleluia!
