The Hebrew Names of God
Used on This Website
Hi! I'm Pastor Floyd! I wish I had a photograph of you, too, so that I could visualize to whom I am talking! But Yahuah Hayah, the Creator and Lord God over all the universe, knows who you are; and that's all that matters!
In Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) last commandment through Yahushua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) to His disciples, He told them to baptize "all nations ... in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost"! (Matthew 28:19) We are well advised to take note that only one name is being suggested in that commandment, which must include all three of the Persons of the Godhead!
With the help of Luz Hanaii, a godly sister and member of Faith Harvest Israel, and a video she sent me, "HaShem (the Name) Revealed" by "MessengeroftheName.com", we have been made to know that "Yahuah" is the correct pronounciation of the Hebrew Tetragrammaton that we transliterate as "YHVH" from the Hebrew, which is the primary reference to the name of God that can be found in His Holy Bible!
So one of the two names of Himself that God gave to Moses is correctly pronounced "Yahuah", according to MessengeroftheName.com, which means "self-Existent or Eternal", according to James Strong's Exhaustive concordance (Strong: Hebrew: 3068) and "The Creator of All", according to Zecahriah Sitchin's translation of ancient Sumerian writings. So we do not use the English translation of YHVH, "JEHOVAH" (Exodus 6:3), which appears not to be correct, according to the original language of the Bible.
To quote from the King James bible, Yahuah (Self-Existent, eternal) Hayah (I AM) said, to Moses: "I appeared unto Abraham, Isaac and Jacob by the name of God Almighty! But by My name JEHOVAH was I not known to them." (Exodus 6:3)
As we have learned above, "JEHOVAH" is the incorrect King James translation of the Hebrew name "Yahuah"!
"Yahuah" differs from the Jewish pronunciation of the Tetragrammaton, YHVH, which is "Yahweh", which, again, according to MessengeroftheName.com, is the result of their shortening the "oo" sound of the Hebrew "vav", which we show as "V"; and then the Jews do what the Greeks do, which is to change the "ah" sound to "e", as is seen throughout the New Testament (Noah shown as "No-e") because the Greek showing of the masculine gender is with the "e" sound and not the "ah"!
Yahuah said, to Moses: "I AM THAT I AM! And He said, Thus shalt thou say, unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. (Exodus 3:14)
The name "I AM" is the correct King James translation of the Hebrew word "Hayah" (Strong: Hebrew: 1961); so, in this fellowship's choice to use the Hebrew names of God, you will find that I consistently use "Hayah" to complete the two names that Yahuah gave to Moses of Himself, which gives "Yahuah" (Self-Existent, Eternal) "Hayah" (I AM)! One cannot imagine how more completely to describe the Creator of All and King over it.
"Joshua" (Exodus 17:9), which also is the name of a book in the Old Testament, is translated from "Yehoshua" (Strong: Hebrew: 3091), which Strong's Concordance gives as the Hebrew and defines it as "Jehovah-saved"! (3091)
The writers of the New Testament translated that name into the Greek as "Iesous", from which the King James translators got their English "Jesus", as that name is used by them for "the Son of God" (Matthew 4:3) throughout the New Testament!
The shortened version "Y'shua" is then used in the "Aramaic English New Testament", translated by Andrew Gabriel Roth, which is based upon the language that Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) and His disciples are believed to have spoken! But we of Faith Harvest Israel are holding to the pronunciation "Yeshua", which is given by Dr. Michael Brown (askdrbrown.org) from out of his thoroughness in studying how this name is consistently pronounced throughout Hebrew scripture!
Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) prophet Daniel made reference to "the Messiah" (Daniel 9:25), for which Strong provides the Hebrew word "mawshiyach" (Strong: Hebrew: 4899), which means "anointed; usually a consecrated person (as a king, priest, or saint); specifically, the Messiah" (4899)
But, when that title is translated "Christ" (Matthew 16:16) by the King James translators of the bible's New Testament, they do so from the Greek Septuagint or translation of the Hebrew bible into Greek, which uses "Christos" (Strong: Greek: 5547), which means "anointed, i.e. the Messiah"! (5547)
Ha Kodesh Ruach
The King James translation of "ha Kodesh Ruach" is "the Holy Spirit"! (Luke 11:13) And the Hebrew "ha Kodesh Ruach" is provided by James Strong, in their separate places, "Holy" at 6944 and "Spirit" at 7307! According to Strong, "Kodesh" means "a sacred place or thing" (Strong: Hebrew: 6944) and "Ruach" means "wind; by resemblance breath"! (Strong: Hebrew: 7306)
Since Faith Harvest Israel keep or put a value on the commandments of Yahuah (Self-Existent, eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) torah, law and "everlasting covenant" (Psalm 105:10) "with the house of Israel" (Jeremiah 31:31), in which He requires thsat His children "hearken" to His "voice" (Deuteronomy 28:1), we believe we are obligated to "love" Him (Deuteronomy 6:5; Matthew 22:37); and one of the ways we believe fulfills our love for Him is to address Him and the Persons of His Godhead by their Hebrew names, since Hebrew is the language He gave to the children of Israel, by which to communicate their knowledge of Him.
Furthermore, in our working with Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) scriptures, we believe we are obligated to insert our more complete Hebrew name for God in each place in His Holy Bible where the King James translators presumed to replace the Tetragrammaton with "the LORD"!

This fellowship's understanding of the Names of God as we have presented them on this page is a relatively new development, leaving much work done in the past with names of Him that we have since abandoned, particularly in books offered on the "downloads" page. The work required to update all this material to using our preferred names of God is extensive; and we have a long way to go in completing that work, for which we apologize!
I pray that this information I have given you is true in Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) sight, that it can be stored in your spirit for great and beneficial use to you as the days go by and that we might hear from you now and then as you find it working its wonders in your life!
I pray that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) shall bless you mightily and that you will realize in your heart how important you are to the ministry that He has given to Faith Harvest Israel to see that His truth is learned, believed and fulfilled by all His children throughout the world, so many of whom are in such desperate need of it, not to mention our ministry of practical helps for the disadvantaged!
