Thoughts for the Sabbath of
2013 February 2

Yeshua's Prayer

(Please note: This sermon can be directly accessed on the Internet at http://www.enterHiscovenant.com/Sabbath20130202.htm)

Hi! I'm Pastor Floyd! I wish I had a photograph of you, too, so that I could visualize to whom I am talking! But Yahuah Hayah, the Self-Existent, Eternal I AM, the Creator of the universe and King over it, knows who you are; and that's all that matters!

At this point in your participation in the service, I recommend that you go to Sabbath Ritual and participate in the prayer in which we like to engage each week, as I do each morning, to avail ourselves of Yahuah Hayah's "Power of Agreement" (Matthew 18:19) for the basic things that all of us must have each day of our lives! Although repetitious and time-consuming, doing that will bless you, the fellowship and all of His children in the universe! It is what some people call "getting prayed up"!

As for the thoughts that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) gave me for this Sabbath, what is known as "the Lord's Prayer" is, actually, a sample prayer that He gave His disciples through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ); He said, through Yeshua: "After this manner, therefore, pray ye:" (Matthew 6:9)

Since prayer is one's effort to communicate with Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM), the Creator of all and the King over it, His giving us an example of what surely He considers to be an ideal prayer is something for us to consider carefully! For, surely, it contains what He wants to hear!

The question then arises, Why does He want to hear specific things?

When Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) created "Adam" and "Eve" (Genesis 3:20), He gave them and all their offspring a "dominion ... over every living thing that moveth upon the Earth"! (Genesis 1:28) Yahuah "is no respecter of persons" (Acts 10:34); so He would not give, to Adam and Eve, anything He would not give to all His sons and daughters throughout His creation!

"Dominion" is the translation of a word meaning "to tread down, i.e. subjugate" (Strong: Hebrew: 7287), which has also been translated "reign" or "rule"! (7287) So in giving His children "dominion" (Genesis 1:28), Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) was giving them "rule" "over every living thing that moveth upon the Earth"! (Genesis 1:28) In other words, what each of us says concerning "every living thing that moveth upon the Earth" (Genesis 1:28) is a law spoken by each one of us!

Since what each of us says concerning "every living thing that moveth upon the Earth" (Genesis 1:28) is a law, Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) had to assure that this law would be carried out! So He necessarily pledged the power of His Kodesh Ruach or Holy Spirit to back up the law that each of us speaks, especially when we pray! He said, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ):

Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that those things that he saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith! (Mark 11:23))

Who moves mountains? Have you moved a mountain lately? Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) moves mountains; and He does it through the power of His Spirit! He wrote, through His prophet:

This is the word of Yahuah unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might nor by power but by My Spirit, saith Yahuah of hosts! (Zechariah 4:6)

So the ability that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) gave to each one of us, His beloved children, to speak what we will with the backing of ha Kodesh Ruach, His Holy Spirit, is, second only to the life He has given us, a sacred trust! And His saying through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) that "every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment" (Matthew 12:36) is no surprise, to those of us who have come to learn the amazing power of what we say and the amazing vulnerability to which Yahuah subjected Himself in putting such godly power in the hands of His children, so that they could be his "friends"! Yeshua said:

I have called you friends! For all things that I have heard of My Father I have made known unto you! (John 15:15)

"Friends" have things in common! Right? Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) wrote, through His recorder: "God created man in His own image!" (Genesis 1:27) So, being "in His own image", we certainly have a little in common with our Creator. His being our "Creator", we are, therefore, images of the Creator; and what would images of the Creator do other than to create? And that conforms perfectly with His giving us our "dominion ... over every living thing that moveth upon the Earth" (Genesis 1:28), which is the authority by which to "rule" over every living thing!

The obvious answer to that question conforms perfectly with Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) giving us our "dominion ... over every living thing that moveth upon the Earth" (Genesis 1:28), which is the authority by which to "rule" over every living thing; and, if we do not rule well, who suffers most over that misuse of our dominion other than Yahuah, Whose "Spirit of truth" (John 14:17; 16:13) communicates to Him the violence that we commit against our neighbors?

Not being one to violate His own nature or the commandments of His Torah, law and covenant, which express that nature, Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) is innocent, which is why He commanded His children to violate innocent lambs each time they sinned, if they wanted to continue enjoying His "life" and "blessing"! (Deuteronomy 30:19) He was content, when they had been reminded through His "atonement" (Leviticus 17:11) what their sin had thrust upon Him, Who was innocent!

A proviso is attached to one's use of his dominion; only those who "believe that those things that he saith shall come to pass" (Mark 11:23) are those who "shall have whatsoever he saith"! (Mark 11:23)

So Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) commanding through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) that one "have faith in God" (Mark 11:23) is far more than mere "good advice"; it is the key to enjoying the "dominion ... over every living thing that moveth upon the Earth"! (Genesis 1:28) that He gave each of us through Adam and Eve!

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s instruction through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) in how one should use his or her dominion starts out saying: "Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart" (Mark 11:23) shall see that mountain removed! Then, in the next verse, He says, "What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them" (Verse 24), which is the same basic instruction put in terms of praying, from which I have ascertained that, essentially, "prayer" is one's use of his or her "dominion"!

So my intent in this sermon is to take each thought that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) gave through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) as an example of prayer for us and examine it, to determine, if possible, why that thought He would consider to be so important!

Our Father, Who art in Heaven ..." (Matthew 6:9)

This expression gives notice, to all persons in the universe, that our Father in Heaven is the One to whom the prayer is being addressed! And to give this notice requires that one acknowledge that a Father in Heaven exists!

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) made reference, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), to "these little ones who believe in Me! (Matthew 18:6) One has to know someone to "believe in" him or her; and these little ones to whom Yahuah was referring through Yeshua obviously knew Him.

People in the world have either forgotten that such a Father exists; or having been reminded of Him, have learned reasons to doubt Him or even to deny that He exists, for one reason or another! So, to pray "Our Father Who art in Heaven," (Matthew 6:9) shows not only that we have been reminded of our Father in Heaven but that we gratefully acknowledge Him as the Creator, Who loves us enough to hear us when we pray!

Hallowed be Thy name!" (Matthew 6:9)

The word "hallowed" is the translation of a word meaning "to make holy"! (Strong: Greek: 37) Yahuah Hayah's ideal prayer for us would have us saying, "Hallowed be Thy name" (Matthew 6:9)", which is to use our dominion to command that the name of God be made holy!

Of course, anything associated with Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) already is holy; so our praying that it be so is, simply, our coming into agreement that it is holy, which means that the one praying this prayer would never "take the name of the Lord thy God in vain"! (Exodus 20:22) Yahuah said, to Moses:

I appeared, unto Abraham, unto Isaac and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty! But by My name "Yahuah Hayah" was I not known to them." (Exodus 6:3)

"Yahuah" is the translation of a word meaning "self-existent or eternal"! (Strong: Hebrew: 3068) And "Hayah" means "I AM"! (Strong: Hebrew: 1961) I am fascinated by the fact that He did not choose to give this particular name to anyone other than Moses, through whom He would be giving His Torah, law and covenant to the children of Israel!

So "Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)" is the name of our Creator that I have chosen to use, since His calling upon me was to "magnify the law and make it honorable"! (Isaiah 42:21)

Thy kingdom come! (Matthew 6:10)

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) said, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ): "The kingdom of God is within you."! (Luke 17:21) But, if one has sinned without repenting of it, Yahuah blots his or her name out of the "Book of Life" (Revelation 3:5), in which He keeps the names of all those who are in or are citizens of His kingdom; He said, to Moses:"Whosoever hath sinned against Me, him will I blot out of My book." (Exodus 32:33)

So, to fullfill the prayer "Thy kingdom come!" (Matthew 6:10), one must meet Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s requirement for entering into His kingdom; He said, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ): "Except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of Heaven"! (Matthew 5:20)

So, to enter into "the kingdom of Heaven", one must have a "righteousness" acceptable to Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM); and He said, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), through Moses: "it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments!" (Deuteronomy 6:25)

People who teach as "the word of God" the writings of will tell you that there is a "righteousness of God without the law". (Romans 3:21) But I have quoted above Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s words through Moses, which offer His "righteousness" through "the law", through the keeping of or the putting of value on "all these commandments" (Deuteronomy 6:25) So the choice is yours! I did not write the bible; I only teach it.

Thy will be done on Earth, as it is in Heaven! (Matthew 6:10)

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) gave, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), through Moses, to "the children of Israel" (Deuteronomy 29:1), His Torah, law and covenant, which is the expression of His will for them, so that they could know what it is! So, in praying "Thy will be done" (Matthew 6:10), one is, actually, praying "The commandments of Thy Torah, law and covenant be obeyed!

The obedience desired of the children of Israel is "as it is in Heaven"! (Matthew 6:10) The universe is the physical expression of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s being; and it is suspended in a spiritual ocean, which we call "Heaven"! Yahuah wrote, through His Recorder:

7 God made the firmament and divided the waters that were under the firmament from the waters that were above the firmament. 8 And God called the firmament Heaven! (Genesis 1:10)

Earth is the only place in the universe about which we know anything where Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) has left, in the hands of His children, the "dominion" (Genesis 1:28) by which to order things contrary to His will! But the word in His Holy Bible and experience teaches us that His will is the only one that works to our advantage! So the wise person prays, Thy will be done! (Matthew 6:10)

Give us, this day, our daily bread! (Matthew 6:11)

Praying "Give us, this day, our daily bread!" (Matthew 6:11) acknowledges from where our bread and every other blessing comes and the need we have to exercise our "dominion" (Genesis 1:28) in ordering that our bread and every other blessing we desire be provided! because, having given us our dominion, Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) waits on us to use it before His moving to provide a thing in relation to our affairs on Earth!

The prayer Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) recommends for us is for this day (Matthew 6:11), which indicates our need to pray each day. He is not hard of hearing or forgetful; but we are; and He wants to know by our using our dominion each new day that we are still mindful of Him and appreciating the awesome and magnificent part He plays in our lives, without Whom we would have no life; He said, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ):

I am the way, the truth and the life! No man cometh unto the Father but by Me! (John 14:6)

Essentially, this says that no one can "come to the Father" except through His "way", "truth" and "life"! He said, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), through Moses: "The Lord shall establish thee an holy people unto Himself, as He hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of Yahuah, thy God, and walk in His ways!" (Deuteronomy 28:9)

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) wrote, through His psalmist: "Thy law is the truth" (Psalm 119:142); and "All Thy commandments are truth." (Psalm 119:151) He said, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ): "If thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments!" (Matthew 19:17) And He made that statement in answer to His inquirer's question: "What good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?" (Verse 16)

So, in praying "Give us, this day, our daily bread!" (Matthew 6:11), we are acknowledging Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s being our Source not only for our bread but for all things required for our lives and that He is the Source of our life itself!

Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors! (Matthew 6:12)

Although we pray "Thy will be done" (Matthew 6:10), we do not always do His will, by breaking the commandments of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s Torah, law and covenant! And that creates one of two problems for us:

1) If we have sinned through ignorance or without realizing that we did so, our place or citizenship in His kingdom is put in jeopardy; and we need to fix that problem as quickly as possible!

2) If we have sinned presumptously or while knowing we are breaking a commandment, we have demonstrated that we are not "keeping" or putting a value on His commandments, which immediately causes Yahuah Hayah to remove our name from His "Book of Life"! (Revelation 3:5)

"Fixing" the problem that we create by sinning ignorantly or breaking a commandment of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s Torah without knowing that we did so is our acknowledging the sin, with great sorrow in our hearts for having sinned; and, in case we have sinned, which is likely, we pray, each day, "Forgive us our debts" (Matthew 6:12), knowing that we had better "forgive our debtors" (Matthew 6:12) for Yahuah Hayah to forgive us!

The result of sinning deliberately is that, instead of receiving the "life" and "blessing"(Deuteronomy 30:19) of His kingdom, we immediately begin to experience His "cursing"(Deuteronomy 30:19) and, ultimately, His "death"(Deuteronomy 30:19), if something or someone does not somehow convince us to "repent" or "think differently" and keep or put a value on the commandments of His Torah, so that He can rewrite our name in His Book of life!

What a person wants and believes is the entire difference between being in or out of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s kingdom with its blessing and eternal life! So what each of us does to affect the wants and beliefs of a neighbor is extremely important! Yahuah , through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ):

Whoso shall offend one of these little ones who believe in Me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea! (Matthew 18:6)

The final thing Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) recommended through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) that we ask Him begins: Lead us not into temptation! (Matthew 6:13)

The fact that we must ask Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) not to "lead us ... into temptation (Matthew 6:13) long bewildered me, especially in the light of His words through His apostle: "God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth He any man!" (James 6:13) But Yahuah finally showed me that He is not the tempter! He wrote, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), through His faithful apostle John:

The great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world! (Revelation 12:9)

In another place in His Holy Bible, Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) calls Satan "the Devourer", saying: "I will rebuke the Devourer for your sakes; and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts! (Malachi 3:11)

Satan tempts his victims by trying to deceive them. Remember what I said above: "What a person wants and believes is the entire difference between being in or out of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s kingdom with its blessing and eternal life!" Then, what we say believing (Mark 11:22 to 24), which is the use of our "dominion"! (Genesis 1:28) determines the protection or destruction of all that is under our dominion or "rule"!

So why, then, must we pray, "Lead us not into temptation"? (Matthew 6:13)

The answer lies in the last thing Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) recommended that we ask Him: "But deliver us from evil!"? (Matthew 6:13) When we look up the word that was translated "evil", we find that it actually means, among other things, "the Devil"! (Strong: Greek: 4190) So one should be praying that Yahuah "deliver us from" Satan or from the deception for which he is noted!

To be delivered from deception is to be given the truth by which to defend one's self from being deceived! And Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) wrote, through His psalmist: "Thy law is the truth" (Psalm 119:)42); and "All Thy commandments are truth." (Psalm 119:)51)

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) said, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ): "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life!"! (John 14:6)

31If ye continue in My word, then are ye My disciples indeed! 32And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free! (John 3:31 and 32)

Sanctify them through Thy truth: Thy word is truth. (John 17:19)

To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth! (John 18:37)

To avoid being led "into temptation" (Matthew 6:13) and be delivered "from evil" (Verse 13) or from the deceptions of Satan, one is well advised to learn Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s words in His Holy Bible! He said, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ): "The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life!" (John 6:63)

The conclusion of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s sample prayer through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) gives Him the honor that is due Him: "For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory for ever!" (Matthew 6:13) With that being true, each of us is well advised to be on good terms with Him; and praying as He would have us pray is a good way to begin each day of our lives!

I pray that this information I have given you is true in Yahuah Hayah's sight, that it can be stored in your spirit for great and beneficial use to you as the days go by and that we might hear from you now and then as you find it working its wonders in your life!

Father, by my "faith in God"! (Mark 11:22) I "speak" (Mark 11:23), to your children, and command that they be given the knowledge, understanding and desire to pray or use their dominion well each day of their lives!

I rejoice (John 15:11) that you are faithful to fulfill your children's powerful use of their "dominion ... over every living thing that moveth upon the Earth"! (Genesis 1:28) I know you answered this prayer, in ha Kodesh Ruach, your Holy Spirit, the moment I said it; and I believe I "receive" (Mark 11:24) a family of brothers and sisters who are rejoicing over the wonderful blessings and eternal life in your awesome presence that praying or using their dominion well brings upon them!

I pray that Yahuah Hayah shall bless you mightily, throughout the coming week, and that you will realize in your heart how important you are to the ministry that He has given to Faith Harvest Israel to see that His truth is learned, believed and carried out by all His children throughout the world, so many of whom are in such desperate need of it, not to mention our ministry of practical helps for the disadvantaged!

Amen! Alleluia!
