Thoughts for the Sabbath of 2013 Feb 16

Do you know what Faith Harvest Israel was thinking on this Sabbath?

Welcome to the page on which Pastor Floyd talks about

Thoughts for the Sabbath of
2013 February 16

Hi! I'm Pastor Floyd! I wish I had a photograph of you, too, so that I could visualize to whom I am talking! But Yahuah Hayah, the Self-Existent, Eternal I AM, Creator of the universe and King over it, knows who you are; and that's all that matters!

At this point in your participation in the service, I recommend that you go to Sabbath Ritual and participate in the prayer in which we like to engage each week, as I do each morning, to avail ourselves of Yahuah Hayah's "Power of Agreement" (Matthew 18:19) for the basic things that all of us must have each day of our lives! Although repetitious and time-consuming, doing that will bless you, the fellowship and all of His children in the universe! It is what some people call "getting prayed up"!

As for the thoughts that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) gave me for this Sabbath, the reason why certain people are completely closed to admitting fault is easy to understand! They are people who over the formative years of their lives have been consistently accused of being at fault, often without reason, even to being disregarded as worthless, to where, in defense against such personal abuse, their spirits shut out all complaints against them on the belief that they can do no wrong or have the "right" to do as they please, no matter what it may do to anyone else, which forces them to find another reason for why things have gone wrong, which is to accuse everyone around them of being the reason for the difficulties being considered!

That is a false belief - a faulty "conscience" (Hebrews 9:14) worthy of being "purged"; because "the judgments of Yahuah are true and righteous" (Psalm 19:9); so what comes upon us is His righteous judgments upon us and relate only remotely to what others may have done or failed to do to bring our suffering to us.

For whatever part others may have had in our suffering, humiliation or whatever, they, also, will be judged, according to Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s same righteous judgments! And, although warning them about His judgments is good, we need not be concerned that they will to any degree escape whatever correction Yahuah has waiting for them; He wrote, through His psalmist:

1 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity! 2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass and wither as the green herb! (Psalm 37:1 and 2)

When parents have suffered false accusation and degradation to the point of shutting out all complaints against them, the effect becomes the classic example of what Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) addressed by saying that He is "a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them who hate Me." (Exodus 20:5) For one cannot say that he loves Yahuah, when he is hating Yahuah's children enough to refuse to hear their complaints or is accusing them of being the cause of all his difficulties with them! And children who are subjected to that kind of abuse then turn around, typically, and do the same to their children.

Sin carries within it the seeds of the judgment that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) reserves for sinners! In other words, maintaining the fiction that one is sinless causes repercussions that bring disaster upon the self-appointed saint! Yahuah wrote, through His faithful apostle: "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." (1st John 1:8)

But, interestingly, that statement comes immediately before my key text in this sermon: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness!" (1st John 1:9)

Yes, in His incomprehensible goodness and mercy, Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) provides a remedy for our problems as erring children of His; but, if we fail to comply with His requirement for that remedy, if we fail to "confess our sins" (1st John 1:9), all kinds of judgment or painful complications develop in our lives, which do not quit and keep getting worse, until we "repent" (Matthew 4:17) or "think differently" (Strong: Greek: 3340) about keeping or putting a value on the commandments of Yahuah's Torah, law and covenant, which is the first step toward the remedy, followed by confession, which is the step that brings it to us.

When one's spirit will not tolerate any neighbor's complaint against him and when the complaint elicits a counter complaint that the difficulty being addressed is all the fault of the complainer, the complainer is forced either to accept that blame, which seldom is entirely true, or to resent the shoe that does not fit him.

To accept blame that has been unfairly attributed to one, causes a conflict within one's own spirit or "conscience" (Hebrews 9:9 and 14), which by its receiving from Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s "Spirit of truth" (John 14:17; 16:13), knows the truth of one's innocence and therefore fights to maintain it despite the counter truth that also has been believed.

To resent what has been recognized as a false accusation is another form of inner turmoil, the only resolution for which is to know that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s "judgments ... are true and righteous" (Psalm 19:9) and that He will, undoubtedly, take the part of the falsely accused and clear him of blame in due time, while He punishes the real sinner and comforts the falsely accused with the knowledge of His perfect justice and rewards for the obedient among His children!

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) commanded, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), through Moses: "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor!" (Exodus 20:16)

Anyone can "repent" (Matthew 4:17) or "think differently" (Strong: Greek: 3340) about keeping or putting a value on the commandments of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s Torah without others' knowing that such a difference in one's thinking has taken place! Only in his confessing his sins does he include others in the remedy, which is in full compliance with Yahuah's commandment that we love our neighbors (Leviticus 19:18; Matthew 22:39), in which compliance we love Him (Deuteronomy 6:5; Matthew 22:37), Whose concern is for the welfare of all His children!

For that reason, Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) waits until confession lovingly includes one's neighbors in his repentance before applying His remedy, "to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1st John 1:9), which "righteousness" (Matthew 5:20) then permits us to "enter into the kingdom of Heaven"! (Verse 20)

Do not suppose that one must die and go to Heaven, to enjoy the glorious benefits of that righteousness! Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s requirement for "our righteousness" (Deuteronomy 6:25) is that we "observe to do all these commandments"! (Verse 25) And that is the same requirement He asks for "all these blessings" to "come on thee and overtake thee". (Deuteronomy 28:2)

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) then said, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), through Moses: "I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live!" (Deuteronomy 30:19) Later he said: "46 Set your hearts unto all the words that I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law! 47 For it is your life!" (Deuteronomy 32:46 and 47)

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) then said, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ): "If thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments!" (Matthew 19:17) And that statement was in answer to the question, "What good thing shall I do to inherit eternal life?" (Verse 16) So we know, from Yeshua Himself, that one's keeping the commandments of Yahuah's Torah was Yahuah's way to eternal blessing and life all along!

In turn, that helps us to understand why Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) wrote, through His psalmist: "8 He hath remembered His covenant for ever, the word that He commanded to a thousand generations, 9 which covenant He made with Abraham and His oath unto Isaac 10 and confirmed the same, unto Jacob, for a law, and to Israel, for an everlasting covenant!" (Psalm 105:8 to 10)

If, as some claim under the teachings of Paul, the covenant that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) had made with Abraham, which He made as an oath to Isaac and a law to Jacob, had been unable to provide a righteousness for His children - if, in fact, "ye could not be justified by the law of Moses" (Acts 13:39), which is a blasphemous lie, Yahuah's making that covenant, a presumably impotent covenant without any power to make anyone righteous, the covenant that He has "remembered ... for ever" (Psalm 105:8), calling it "an everlasting covenant" (Psalm 105:10) makes absolutely no sense!

Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) said, of Moses: "If ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe My words?" So, if one has believed that "it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments" (Deuteronomy 6:25), Yeshua's saying, "This is My blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins" (Matthew 26:28) cannot mean that the shedding of His blood was to establish righteousness or to justify anyone, which by the authority of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s words through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) through Moses relates specifically to the value that one puts on the commandments of His Torah, law and covenant! So with what was Yeshua's shedding of His blood to do?

We find the answer to that critical question in Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s words through His author: "How much more shall the blood of Christ ... purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?" One's "conscience" is his "moral consciousness" (Strong: Greek: 4893) or what he believes about right and wrong! One can only know what is right and wrong from hearing Yahuah's "voice" (Deuteronomy 28:1) or the commandments of His Torah, law and covenant!

So the purging that Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ)'s shedding of His blood accomplishes is the removal from one's conscience of all falsehood concerning what is right and wrong! And one of the most insidious lies about doing wrong is that one can "get away with" doing wrong or committing violence against a neighbor - that is, suffer no consequences from wronging a neighbor, if no one knows about it.

Shoplifting is practiced for one's having accepted such a lie, while the truth is, that the loss of the stolen merchandise must be made up by charging others more, which violates them! Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s Spirit is in the other customers and knows the truth of the stolen merchandise; and, feeling the pain of it, He communicates that pain to Yahuah, Who is innocent and not worthy to suffer such pain.

So the violence that wicked men thrust upon Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), Who is Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s "express image" (Hebrews 1:3), demonstrates how sin brings pain and death upon Yahuah! Yeshua said, "He who hath seen Me hath seen the Father!" (John 14:8) So those who saw Yeshua crucified were seeing "the Father" being crucified. So Yahuah takes personally, what His children do to violate one another, and He meticulously observes His rule: "Give, and it shall be given unto you." (Luke 6:38)

So, without his realizing it, the shoplifter, even though he or she is not noticed by security personnel in the store, is noticed by Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM), Who "knoweth the hearts" (Acts 15:8); and something of similar value to whatever he stole will be taken from him, guaranteed by the word of "the living God"! (Hebrews 9:14)

Furthermore, without repenting of that act against God and man, without putting a value on Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s commandment "Thou shalt not steal!" (Exodus 20:15), "ye shall die in your sins!" (John 8:24) And, according to Yahuah's words in His Holy Bible, that guarantees His sending that wicked soul to "the Lake of Fire" (Revelation 20:14), which "is the Second Death"! (Verse 14)

Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) said, "I came ... to call ... sinners to repentance!" (Matthew 9:13) He may as well have included confession in that purpose for His coming: for "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"! (1st John 1:9)

To "repent" (Matthew 4:17) is to "think differently"! (Strong: Greek: 3340) And "sinners" (Matthew 9:13) "sin" (1st John 3:4), which "is the transgression of the law"! (Verse 4) So Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ)'s sacrificing Himself on the cross as Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s "Lamb of God" (John 1:29) was all about calling us to "observe to do all these commandments" (Deuteronomy 6:25), which is Yahuah's requirement for us to obtain "our righteousness" (Verse 25), which is fulfilled in the righteousness He gives us when "we confess our sins"! (1st John 1:9)

I pray that this information I have given you is true in Yahuah Hayah's sight, that it can be stored in your spirit for great and beneficial use to you as the days go by and that we might hear from you now and then as you find it working its wonders in your life!

Father, by my "faith in God"! (Mark 11:22) I "speak" (Mark 11:23), to your children, and command that they be given the knowledge and understanding that relates to Your requirement for confession!

I rejoice (John 15:11) that you are faithful to fulfill your children's powerful use of their "dominion ... over every living thing that moveth upon the Earth"! (Genesis 1:28) I know you answered this prayer, in ha Kodesh Ruach, your Holy Spirit, the moment I said it; and I believe I "receive" (Mark 11:24) a family of brothers and sisters who are rejoicing over the wonderful blessings and eternal life in Your awesome presence into which a knowledge and understanding of confession can lead them.

I pray that Yahuah Hayah shall bless you mightily, throughout the coming week, and that you will realize in your heart how important you are to the ministry that He has given to Faith Harvest Israel to see that His truth is learned, believed and carried out by all His children throughout the world, so many of whom are in such desperate need of it, not to mention our ministry of practical helps for the disadvantaged!

Amen! Alleluia!
