Yahuah Hayah's Rituals

(Please note: This sermon can be directly accessed on the Internet at

Hi! I'm Pastor Floyd! I wish I had a photograph of you, too, so that I could visualize to whom I am talking! But Yahuah Hayah, the Self-Existent, Eternal I AM, the Creator of the universe and King over it, knows who you are; and that's all that matters!

At this point in your participation in the service, I recommend that you go to Sabbath Ritual and participate in the prayer in which we like to engage each week, as I do each morning, to avail ourselves of Yahuah Hayah's "Power of Agreement" (Matthew 18:19) for the basic things that all of us must have each day of our lives! Although repetitious and time-consuming, doing that will bless you, the fellowship and all of His children in the universe! It is what some people call "getting prayed up"!

As for the thoughts that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) gave me for this Sabbath, our heart pumps several times in a minute, causing our blood to flow to all parts of our body and then to return to it for another pump and another thrust through our body! We breath several times throughout a minute, giving oxygen to our lungs, which then give carbon dioxide to our breath, to be returned to the atmosphere of air that we breathe!

When we are able, we eat each day of our lives! And the food is, basically, the same, with a few minor variations to make it appealing! The sun gets up each morning, bringing us a new day; and the seasons of the year come and go on their trustworthy schedule!

Most things in our lives are cyclical or repititious! And, normally, we seem not to mind that fact. If we are happy throughout our daily routine, we accept it, gladly! And, if we are "religious", we add praise and thanksgiving to that gladness, out of gratitude for the amazing creation that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) has given His children and used to make them and put them in it.

So what is the matter with Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s asking His children to do certain things on a regular basis or "repititiously", if you will?

In His Torah, law and covenant, Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) commanded His priests to sacrifice a lamb each morning and one each evening "for a continual burnt offering"! (Numbers 28:3 and 4) He commanded His children to bring a "sin offering" (Numbers 15:27) to a priest, whenever he or a member had sinned or broken a commandment of His Torah "through ignorance"! (Verse 27)

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) commanded His children to observe a "Sabbath"! (Leviticus 23:3) each "seventh day" (Verse 3) of every week! And He has commanded His children to observe seven sacred "feasts" (Verse 2) at specified times each year!

So what is the purpose of all these observances or "rituals", as we have come to call them? And why has Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) asked that they be done over and over again?

Being the one who made His children in His "image" (Genesis 1:27), Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) best knows how we work! We experience things; and we remember what we experience; but that memory fades, particularly when the experience had no special significance to us.

Forgetfulness is a wise provision that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) put into us; for, if we remembered clearly every single thing that had ever happened to us, our conscious mind would become cluttered with so many details we could not navigate among them; we would become deadlocked for the confusion!

So Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) knows that our memory of things that are important to us needs to be reenforced! We need to be reminded of them; and thus we can understand why He commanded His children to repeat over and over at certain specified intervals the rituals He put into His Torah, law and covenant!

The question now arises, what is so important about the rituals that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) did command in His Torah, law and covenant that they bear so much repetition?

I believe that any of the sacrifices that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) commanded His children to perform are part of the "atonement" of His Torah, law and covenant! He said, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), through Moses: "The life of the flesh is in the blood! And I have given it, to you, upon the altar, to make an atonement for your souls! For it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul!" (Leviticus 17:11)

The "atonement" of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s Torah, law and covenant relates to His "mercy" (Exodus 20:6) or forgiveness! When the child of Israel brought a "sin offering" (Numbers 15:27) to a priest to "make an atonement" (Verse 28) for him, Yahuah's promise was that "it shall be forgiven him"! (Verse 28)

The main reason that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s forgiveness awaited the child of His who brought a sin offering was that bringing such an offering was an humble admission of one's having sinned! And from Yahuah's teaching through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) His disciples how to pray (Matthew 6:9 to 13), we learn that He gives His forgiveness when we forgive others! (Verse 14)

We learn, from Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s story through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) of the highly indebted servant (Matthew 18:23 to 35), that His forgiveness relates to the kingdom with which a person is associated! In that story, the king's forgiving the servant of his debt resulted only in the servant's being restored to the king's kingdom, where he could move freely while repaying the debt.

In my view, only two kingdoms are spiritually significant! We have Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s kingdom or "the kingdom of God" (Mark 1:14); and we have "the kingdoms of the world" (Matthew 4:8), which, being ruled over by Satan or "the prince of this world" (John 12:31), can be considered one kingdom - the one in competition with Yahuah's kingdom.

Which kingdom one is associated with is important! because whichever kingdom is one's "home" or the one to which he has given his allegiance is the source of his life, in that the "king" or "prince" of that place determines the blessings that his subjects enjoy or the curses they endure!

As a young man I visited Mexico; but I was still a citizen of California! And, when I became sick with hepatitis, all I had to do was board a plane and head straight "home", where I could receive the medical attention I believed that I needed!

The sacrifices of animals continually reminded the children of Israel and reenforced in their spirits, over many centuries, that innocence can suffer and die, which was a type of what Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) suffers when His children sin or violate one another, while His spirit is in the victims of such violence, communicating the pain and death of it to Him, Who is not worthy of such mistreatment.

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) wrote, through His author, that the sacrifices of His Torah, law and covenant were "a figure for the time then present ... that could not make him who did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience"! (Hebrews 9:9) But, apparently, some sensitive souls did get the message! And, having repented of sinning or breaking the commandments of Yahuah's Torah, they were regarded, by Him, as "righteous"! Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) said: "I am not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance!"! (Mattheqw 9:13)

Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) called "sinners to repentance" (Mattheqw 9:13), by going to the cross and performing on Himself the most traumatic demonstration of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s "atonement" ever to be witnessed - the suffering and death of an human "Lamb of God" (John 1:29) in no less than the Son of God, Who was "the express image" (Hebrews 1:3) of Yahuah's "person"! (Verse 3)

The night before He would be arrested, Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) prayed, "For their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth!" (John 17:19) And He told Pilate, the Roman governor who would give the order to crucify Him: "To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth!" (John 18:37)

Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) bore witness to "the truth", by showing what sin does to His heavenly Father and ours! When that showing has purged "your conscience from dead works to serve the living God" (Hebrews 9:14), you will have no problem in confessing your sins! And Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) wrote, through His faithful apostle:

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness! (1st John 1:9)

That is, "He" or Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) will, in His marvelous forgiveness, immediately restore us to our places in His kingdom, where we began as "these little ones who believe in Me"! (Matthew 18:6) And, "in His kingdom" is where "all these blessings shall come on thee and overtake thee". (Deuteronomy 28:2), including "eternal life"! (Matthew 19:16 and 17)

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) accomplishes that immediate restoration by writing the restored child's name in His "Book of Life" (Revelation 3:5), which restores the blessings of His kingdom to the obedient child no matter where he or she happens to be; "for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you." (Luke 17:21)

We know that we in our time cannot perform the rituals of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s Torah, law and covenant that involve animal sacrifices; because no temple exists in which He commanded those sacrifices to be made! But we can study, understand and be reminded of His purpose in commanding them from His children, which is to "observe to do all His commandments" (Deuteronomy 28:1), which is to put a value on them, which is why "all these blessings shall come on thee and overtake thee". (Verse 2)

In the meanwhile, we can perform and receive the blessings of keeping other "rituals" or things Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) has commanded of us on a regular basis, such as His weekly Sabbath and His annual feasts! And with our observances of those commandments we know He is especially pleased! He said, of His Sabbaths, that "they shall be a sign between Me and you, that ye may know that I am Yahuah, your God!" (Ezekiel 20:20)

I pray that this information I have given you is true in Yahuah Hayah's sight, that it can be stored in your spirit for great and beneficial use to you as the days go by and that we might hear from you now and then as you find it working its wonders in your life!

Father, by my "faith in God"! (Mark 11:22) I "speak" (Mark 11:23), to Your children, and command that they be given the knowledge, understanding and desire to faithfully perform Your rituals for the fulfillment of Your magnificent will for them.

I rejoice (John 15:11) that you are faithful to fulfill your children's powerful use of their "dominion ... over every living thing that moveth upon the Earth"! (Genesis 1:28) I know you answered this prayer, in ha Kodesh Ruach, your Holy Spirit, the moment I said it; and I "believe" I "receive" (Mark 11:24) a family of brothers and sisters who are rejoicing over the wonderful blessings and eternal life in Your awesome presence that faithfully performing or at least studying and appreciating Your rituals brings upon them!

I pray that Yahuah Hayah shall bless you mightily, throughout the coming week, and that you will realize in your heart how important you are to the ministry that He has given to Faith Harvest Israel to see that His truth is learned, believed and carried out by all His children throughout the world, so many of whom are in such desperate need of it, not to mention our ministry of practical helps for the disadvantaged!

Amen! Alleluia!
