More about Redemption

(Please note: This sermon can be directly accessed on the Internet at http://www.honorhislaw.com/Sabbath20150502.htm)

Hi! I'm Pastor Floyd! I wish I had a photograph of you, too, so that I could visualize to whom I am talking! But Yahuah Hayah, the Self-Existent, Eternal I AM, Creator of the universe and King over it, knows who you are; and that's all that matters!

At this point in your participation in the service, I recommend that you go to Sabbath Ritual and participate in the prayer in which we like to engage each week, as I do each morning, to avail ourselves of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) "Power of Agreement" (Matthew 18:19) for the basic things that all of us must have each day of our lives! Although repetitious and time-consuming, doing that, if your heart is behind or in agreement with what you are being guided to say, will bless you, the fellowship and all of His children in the universe! It is what some people call "getting prayed up"!

As for the thoughts that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) gave me for this Sabbath, I felt I had written an adequate sermon on "redemption" for the last Sabbath and had even printed it for my friend to read, when Yahuah gently chided me, saying: "You haven't finished that sermon yet, Son! You have not shown the members of our fellowship the difference between My redemption and Paul's, even when both of them are considered to be a "ransom"! And God showed me where Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) said:

The Son of man came not to be ministered unto but to minister and to give His life a ransom for many! (Matthew 20:28)

The spiritual concept represented by the word "redemption" has in it several elements! And understanding how all of them fit together is a challenge! So I am not surprised that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) found my sermon on it to be inadequate!

The bondservant whom Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) said through Moses "may be redeemed again; one of his brethren may redeem him" (Leviticus 25:48) was being held for a "ransom", in a certain sense, the difference between that and the kidnapping we usually think of in association with "ransom" being that the holder of the bondservant is asking for the payment of a legitimate debt, while the kidnapper demands a "ransom" or price on his captive without a lawful basis for it.

The analogy of the bondservant sold out to a stranger applies, seemingly, to the consequences of sin, as well, the judgments of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) being "true and righteous, altogether"! (Psalm 19:9)

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) said, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ): "Give; and it shall be given unto you." (Luke 6:38) Give blessing; and His blessing will return to you. Give cursing; and His cursing will return to you. So each thing we do creates a "debt" of one kind or another, which God has promised will return or be "paid" one way or another!

In Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) Torah through Moses, in the analogy He gives of the bondservant sold to the stranger, we see this perfect justice at work! The servant will remain in his bondage, until somehow his debt is paid! And God's word assures us that the debt, whether of reward or punishment, will be paid, immutably or without exception of any kind, blood or no blood!

But, when we apply this analogy of the bondservant to the matter of "sin", the fact that the bondservant's brother "may redeem him" becomes confusing! It supports Paul's teaching that his "Jesus Christ" (Galatians 1:12) in shedding his blood paid a "redemption" (Romans 3:24) or "ransom" (Strong: Greek: 629) for the "death" (Romans 6:23) that was and is due every child of God on Earth because "all have sinned"! (Romans 3:23) Presumably, he paid it "for the remission [or forgiveness] of sins"! (Romans 3:25) But, when we compare that "substitutionary atonement" or ransom with this commandment of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) through Moses, we have to wonder!

The fathers shall not be put to death for the children! Neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers! Every man shall be put to death for his own sin! (Deuteronomy 24:16)

We have read above how Paul insisted that "all have sinned"! (Romans 3:23) Did Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) send Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), His beloved "Word" (John 1:1) and "only begotten Son" (John 3:16) to "be put to death for the children" by breaking His own Torah or law?

Something is wrong, here; can you guess what it is?

To secure his "gospel" (Galatians 1:11) from being questioned by Jews who knew Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) Torah or law through Moses, Paul had to discredit that law, particularly God's providing through it any kind of "righteousness", which Paul knew perfectly well is the essential ingredient in God's salvation for His children! So Paul's "gospel" (Galatians 1:11) necessarily does exactly the opposite of what God said He would do through His prophet:

Yahuah is well pleased for His righteousness’ sake; He will magnify the law and make it honorable! (Isaiah 42:21)

Instead, Paul declared: "Ye could not be justified by the law of Moses" (Acts 13:39), offering in its place a "righteousness of God without the law" (Romans 3:21) and insisting that "a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law". He said a lot of other derogatory things about God's law through Moses, as well, which I showed last week and perpetually show on our website's page of "Scripture Often Used by the Fellowship", the point being that His false "redemption" or "ransom" has nothing to do with magnifying or honoring our Christ's Torah, Who said:

I am not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance! (Matthew 9:13)

To "repent" (Matthew 4:17) means to "think differently"! (Strong: Greek: 3340) And "sin is the transgression of the law!" So Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) came to cause "sinners" to "think differently" about transgressing or breaking the commandments of His law through Moses! He said: "If thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments!" (Matthew 19:17) and, of Moses, "If ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe My words?" (John 5:47)

As a master teacher, Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) used strong analogies to communicate spiritual truth to His children! He said: "53 Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink His blood, ye have no life in you. 54 Whoso eateth My flesh and drinketh My blood hath eternal life!" (John 6:53 and 54)

In that analogy, I see parallel significance in the "flesh" of the lamb eaten and in the wine drunk by the children of Israel during Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) Passover Feast. In His Torah through Moses Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) said:

When a stranger shall sojourn with thee and will keep the Passover to Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM), let all his males be circumcised! And then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one who is born in the land! For no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof! (Exodus 12:48)

Assuming that those "born in the land", who were either circumcised or covered by the circumcision of their fathers or husbands, enjoyed the "eternal life" (Matthew 19:16) that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) has always given to those who "keep the commandments" (Verse 17), the above commandment (Exodus 12:48) limits that life to those who are in the "everlasting covenant" (Psalm 105:10) with Him that He has provided for "the children of Israel"! (Deuteronomy 29:1)

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) said, to Abraham: "I will establish My covenant between Me and thee and thy seed after thee, in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee and to thy seed after thee." (Genesis 17:7) "This is My covenant, which ye shall keep, between Me and you and thy seed after thee: Every man child among you shall be circumcised!" (Verse 10)

Paul claimed that "if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise"! (Galatians 3:29) But then he turned around, claiming that "circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing but the keeping of the commandments of God!" (1st Corinthians 7:19) Please notice, in that defiant statement, that both "circumcision" and "the keeping of the commandments of God" are regarded, by Paul, as "nothing", which is consistent with the doctrinally disjointed pandamonium that characterizes his "gospel"! (Galatians 1:11)

But, when Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach's (the Messiah's or Christ's) disciples found His requirement for eating His flesh and drinking His blood to be "an hard saying" (John 6:60), Jesus backed off and became realistic, saying: "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing! The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life!" (Verse 63)

So the "flesh" that Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) said one must eat to "have eternal life ... profiteth nothing", even the flesh and blood of the Passover lamb, while the words that He spoke to His disciples were and are "spirit" and "life" along with the truth conveyed to one's spirit by his or her participating in the Passover! This is reminiscent of Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach's (the Messiah's or Christ's) saying to the Jews:

31 If ye continue in My word, then are ye My disciples indeed! 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free! (John 8:31 and 32)

Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) prayed, to His Father, concerning His forthcoming death and of His disciples:

For their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth! (John 17:19)

Yes, Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) paid a price or a "ransom", if you will; but understanding why He paid it is desperately needed by His children! Did He, as Paul taught, pay that price, thereby obtaining "eternal redemption" (Hebrews 9:12), to cause men to be forgiven because His shed blood did the forgiving? Or did He pay it, to communicate a truth that would "call ... sinners to repentance" (Matthew 9:13) and thus set them free!

King David wrote: "17Thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it. Thou delightest not in burnt offering! 18The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit! A broken and a contrite heart, O God, Thou wilt not despise!" (Psalm 51:17 and 18)

Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) said, of a "publican" (Luke 18:13), that he "went down to his house justified"! (Verse 14) Why? because he had said, "God, be merciful to me, a sinner!" That was it! Where was the substitute death in his place or the shed blood that presumably forgave him?

Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) taught His disciples to pray, to "our Father Who art in Heaven" (Matthew 6:9): "Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors!" (Verse 12) Did He overlook something? Where was the substitute sacrifice or the shed blood?

To make sure, Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) emphasized: "14 If ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you! 15 But, if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." (Verses 14 and 15)

Again, Where was the substitute sacrifice or the shed blood?

Was "the Word", Who was "in the beginning" and "was God" (Verse 1) guilty of misleading by the sin of omission His disciples, who said, of Him: "Thou hast the words of eternal life!" (John 6:68)

Notice, please, that Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach's (the Messiah's or Christ's) "words of eternal life" were those to which His disciples listened with the utmost reverence! He said: "To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth!" (John 18:37)

So, if the purpose of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) sending His "Word" to Earth as His Son was to "bear witness unto the truth", the death that He also required of Him must have had something to do with that truth! And the only place in His Holy Bible were I have found a clear explanation of what that purpose was is where He wrote through His author:

How much more shall the blood of Christ ... purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (Hebrews 9:14)

This precious and powerful insight helps us to understand more clearly what Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) meant through His author only two verses before:

Neither by the blood of goats and calves but by His own blood He entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. (Hebrews 9:12)

So, in this comparison, we are able to see that the "eternal redemption" that Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) "obtained for us" relates specifically to Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) reward for having a conscience purged of excuses for sinning and thus ready to "serve the living God"!

With Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach's (the Messiah's or Christ's) having submitted Himself to the brutal hands of wicked men who wanted Him dead and with their having had their hateful, cruel and deadly way with Him, mankind will never be the same! We will never be able to "live down" what members of our race did to the innocent and loving Son of God, Who only "went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil!" (Acts 10:38)

If ever a reason to be unthinkably ashamed existed, it lies in what our own kind did to Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) beloved Son!

On that infamous day, these wicked murderers of the "Express Image" (Hebrews 1:3) of the Most High God sinned the greatest sin ever and brought down our own image of ourselves to a degradation lower than anything of which we can conceive!

In the light of this supreme humbling and shaking to the depths of our being, does anyone aware of these things really want to go on sinning?

Did not "the blood of Christ" indeed purge our consciences "from dead works to serve the living God"? (Hebrews 9:14)

Exposure to this "truth" indeed called us "sinners to repentance" and a determination never to sin again, which satisfied Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) funadamental offer in His Torah through Moses, that if "1 if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM), thy God, to observe [or put a value on] to do all His commandments ... 2 ... all these blessings shall come on thee and overtake thee." (Deuteronomy 28:1 and 2)

The God Whom I love, worship and serve does not bless His children and then send them to Hell! I beg of you to see the wisdom and saving grace of that simple observation!

But, with all of this having been said, we still have not got down to the real difference between Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) redemption and that of Paul! And, to see that difference, one must understand what God's redemption actually accomplished! And it was not, as Paul's followers and the Christians have believed, "for the remission [or forgiveness] of sins" (Romans 3:25) in the sense that the blood of his "Jesus Christ" (Galatians 1:12) was the agent or source of the forgiveness!

Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) Himself spoke of His blood, which would soon be shed, as being "for many for the remission [or forgiveness] of sins"; and, if that is true, both God's redemption and Paul's relate to one's need for forgiveness!

But, when Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) was dying on His cross and wanted His murderers forgiven, He did not expect His blood's being shed by the nails in His hands and feet to do the forgiving! Rather, He prayed: "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do!" (Luke 23:34) He knew that His Father in Heaven is the God Who forgives, which is why He taught His disciples to command Him: "Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors!" (Matthew 6:12)

In the story of the highly indebted servant that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) told through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) to help His listeners understand what "the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 18:23) is like, the king "was moved with compassion, loosed him and forgave him the debt". (Verse 27) As the king, he was sovereign! He had the right to forgive if he wanted to; and he simply exercised that right.

But that forgiveness did not absolve the servant from his great debt! It merely gave him the freedom to walk about in the king's kingdom while working, as the servant promised, to "pay thee all"! (Matthew 18:26)

We know this careful showing of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) forgiveness to be true! because, when the servant put a fellow servant in prison for what little he owed, the king called the highly indebted servant's debt and put him in prison. (Matthew 18:34) He could not have done that had His forgiveness removed the debt.

Then Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) concluded the story, by saying: "So likewise shall My heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses" (Matthew 18:35), which is exactly the same requirement that the sample prayer He gave His disciples includes (Matthew 6:12, 14 and 15), which again has nothing to do with the blood He shed on His cross!

But, having allowed wicked men to crucify Him, which horrible execution did shed His blood, He thus fulfilled the fact that before "the foundation of the world" (Revelation 13:8) He had already "obtained eternal redemption for us" (Hebrews 9:12), enabling Him to write, through His prophet:

I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions and, as a cloud, thy sins! Return unto Me; for I have redeemed thee. (Isaiah 44:22)

Keeping in mind the defining of forgiveness gained from Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) story of the indebted servant through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), we are able to understand that the "blotting" of "sins" to which He referred through Isaiah relates only to the place in which one suffers the bondage that sin creates - the house of "the stranger" (Leviticus 25:47) versus the house of "his brethren" (Verse 48), the matter of his continuing to owe the redeeming brother not being addressed in that commandment!

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) said, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ): "Whosoever ... shall break one of these least commandments and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of Heaven! But whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of Heaven." (Matthew 5:19)

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) wrote, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), through His faithful apostle John: "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them." (Revelation 14:13)

The most destructive part of Paul's "gospel" (Galatians 1:11) is the dangerous sense of freedom from the consequences of sin that it teaches! And Christians the world over have wrongly supposed that, sin or no sin, they can "get off scott free" because of Paul's having attributed to the true Christ's shed blood the power to forgive universally all people in the world, if they will only have "faith in His blood" (Romans 3:25), having abondoned any idea of keeping the commandments of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) law through Moses!

Paul said: "3 I testify ... to every man who is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law! 4 Christ is become of no effect unto you. Whosoever of you are justified by the law, ye are fallen from grace!" (Galatians 5:3 and 4)

But, through His word in His Holy Bible, Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) has news for the victims of Paul's blasphemy: "Their works do follow them" (Revelation 14:13), even into "the Kingdom of Heaven"! (Matthew 5:19)

One can gain further insight into the resulting reward of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) redemption, by observing what He wrote, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), through His faithful apostle John, about certain people whom John saw in Heaven, that they were redeemed ... to God by Thy blood out of every kindred, tongue, people and nation! (Revelation 5:9); redeemed from the Earth (Revelation 14:3); and redeemed from among men! (Verse 4)

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) redemption's being "to God", "from the Earth" and "from among men" suggests that a movement of His children is the true significance of His redemption; and this can be understood by noticing what His apostle wrote about Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach's (the Messiah's or Christ's) activity immediately after being crucified, when He was "18 put to death in the flesh but quickened by the Spirit, 19 by Whom He also went and preached unto the spirits in prison"! (1st Peter 3:18 and 19)

To make sure we understood who these "spirits in prison" were, Peter then made reference to those "who sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing"! (1st Peter 3:20)

Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) Himself prophesied where He would be after His crucifixion, saying: "As Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly, so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the Earth!" (Matthew 12:40)

So we are able to understand that after He was crucified Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) was "three days and three nights in the heart of the Earth" while He "preached unto the spirits" of the dead, who had been there since "the days of Noah"!

Peter characterized "the spirits in prison" as having been "disobedient", which would have included virtually all of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) children; but, from His story through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) of "Lazarus" (Luke 16:20) and "the rich man" (Verse 22), we find that certain of those spirits, including Abraham, were in "Abraham's Bosom" (Verse 22), as was the case with Lazarus, while others, such as the rich man, were "in Hell" (Verse 23), both the righteous and the wicked being merely across "a great gulf" (Verse 26) from each other and able to talk with each other in this strange holding place "in the heart of the Earth"! (Matthew 12:40)

So, at the time when Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) ministered to His children through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) in "the heart of the Earth", we find that all the dead among them, whether righteous or wicked, were "spirits in prison", which shows that their being there had nothing to do with what they had done, either good or bad! It was, simply, where God was choosing to keep them, until Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) could show them the nail prints in His hands and feet and thereby help them to appreciate the truth of how evil sin really is, their consciences thereby being purged "from dead works to serve the living God"!

Only then, with Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach's (the Messiah's or Christ's) having laid down His life for that great saving purpose, would Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) permit Him to free from Earth those who had received the truth thus shown, and move them to Paradise! Jesus said:

2 I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And, if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto Myself, that where I am there ye may be also! (John 14:2 and 3)

At the same time, Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) prepared another place for those who refused to accept the truth about sin that He revealed by the shedding of His blood; and some twenty years ago He showed Richard Eby, a brother who died and then was returned to his life on Earth, what that place was like! It no longer was the burning place of torment about which the rich man complained but, rather, was a pitch black stone cell in the heart of Earth with demons in it, which Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) explained is found described through His psalmist:

3 My soul is full of troubles: and my life draweth nigh unto the grave! 4 I am counted with them who go down, into the pit! I am as a man who hath no strength! 5 Free among the dead, like the slain who lie in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more! And they are cut off from Thy hand! 6 Thou hast laid me in the lowest pit, in darkness, in the deeps! 7 Thy wrath lieth hard upon me, and thou hast afflicted me with all thy waves! 8 Thou hast put away mine acquaintance far from me; Thou hast made me an abomination unto them: I am shut up, and I cannot come forth! (Psalm 88:3 to 8)

This also explains the difference between Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach's (the Messiah's or Christ's) two different descriptions of Hell. The first is where He said: "If thy hand offend thee, cut it off! It is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into Hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched! (Mark 9:43); and the second is where He said: "The children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness! There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth!" (Matthew 18:12)

The repentant thief hanging at Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach's (the Messiah's or Christ's) side saw the terrible thing that was being done to Him and knew, by his own suffering, how terrible an injustice was being committed against Him; and he said, to the other malefactor: "This man hath done nothing amiss!" (Luke 23:43) He could fully appreciate how painful injustice is the damning ingredient in all sin.

So the repentant thief was fully qualified to be received by Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) into the place He would "go and prepare"! So "Jesus said unto him, To day shalt thou be with Me in Paradise!"; and, within a day, that misguided thief with the good heart toward "Jesus" was redeemed "to God" (Revelation 5:9) "from the Earth" (Revelation 14:3) or "from among men"! (Verse 4)

So, also, would "the spirits in prison" be "redeemed", when Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) had shown them what He had endured at the hands of wicked men, thus calling them "to repentance" (Matthew 9:13) and preparing them to be moved to "Paradise", thus fulfilling Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) prophecy to Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) through His psalmist:

Thou hast ascended on high! Thou hast led captivity captive! Thou hast received gifts for men - yea, for the rebellious also - that Yahuah might dwell among them. (Psalm 68:18)

So, you see, Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) "redemption", although requiring the righteousness of His children, was not the provider of it or of the forgiveness by which righteousness is obtained! Rather, it is His reward for a child's finally having understood the truth to which Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) bore witness in laying down His life and for having responded to it appropriately, with an heart full of remorse for the terrible thing that sin is!

"Sin is the transgression of the law!" (1st John 3:4) And in Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) Torah or law through Moses, He offers His "blessings" (Deuteronomy 28:2; 30:19) and "life" (Deuteronomy 30:19; 32:47) - even "eternal life" (Matthew 19:16 and 17) - for one's hearkening "unto the voice of Yahuah, thy God, to observe to do all His commandments" (Deuteronomy 28:1), which we now can see is His requirement for one to receive the "eternal redemption for us" (Hebrews 9:12) that Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) "obtained" (Verse 12) by the shedding of His blood!

That hearkening then brings one into the "covenant" (Psalm 105:8) that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) said through His psalmist "He hath remembered ... for ever, the word that He commanded to a thousand generations!" For He said, that it is "an everlasting covenent" (Verse 10) And that is a very sure thing of which to be a part!

I pray that this information I have given you is true in Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) sight, that it can be stored in your spirit for great and beneficial use to you as the days go by and that we might hear from you now and then as you find it working its wonders in your life!

Father, by my "faith in God" (Mark 11:22), I "speak" (Mark 11:23), to Your children, and command that they be given the knowledge and understanding of You and of the life you have given them by which to enjoy Your careful provisions for their salvation and that of their neighbors!

I rejoice (John 15:11) that You are faithful to fulfill Your children's powerful use of their "dominion ... over every living thing that moveth upon the Earth"! (Genesis 1:28) I know you answered this prayer, in ha Kodesh Ruach, Your Holy Spirit, the moment I said it; so I "believe" I "receive" (Mark 11:24), even now, a family of brothers and sisters who are rejoicing in their unified understanding of Your marvelous way and its eternal rewards!

I pray that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) shall bless you mightily, throughout the coming week, and that you will realize in your heart how important you are to the ministry that He has given to Faith Harvest Israel to see that His truth is learned, believed and carried out by all His children throughout the world, so many of whom are in such desperate need of it.
