Thoughts for the Sabbath of
2015 September 12

Keys of the Kingdom

(Please note: This sermon can be directly accessed on the Internet at http://www.honorhislaw.com/Sabbath20150912.htm)

Hi! I'm Pastor Floyd! I wish I had a photograph of you, too, so that I could visualize to whom I am talking! But Yahuah Hayah, the Self-Existent, Eternal I AM, the Creator of the universe and King over it, knows who you are; and that's all that matters!

At this point in your participation in the service, I recommend that you go to Sabbath Ritual and participate in the prayer in which we like to engage each week, as I do each morning, to avail ourselves of Yahuah Hayah's "Power of Agreement" (Matthew 18:19) for the basic things that all of us must have each day of our lives! Although repetitious and time-consuming, doing that will bless you, the fellowship and all of His children in the universe! It is what some people call "getting prayed up"!

As for the thoughts that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) gave me for this Sabbath, He reminded me that, when you rent a safety deposit box at a bank and you want to get into it, two keys must open it: 1) the key that the bank gives you and (2) the key that the bank keeps; so, when you want to get into the box, the bank attendant takes you into the bank's vault and has you use your key on one side of the box's door; and the attendant uses his key on the other side; and the door opens, so that the box can be pulled out and given to you to take to a private room, where you can do what you want with its contents!

This arrangement is a close parallel to the way in which Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) has arranged our entrance into His kingdom of Heaven! He said, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), to Peter:

I will give, unto thee, the keys of the kingdom of Heaven! Whatsoever thou shalt bind on Earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt loose on Earth shall be loosed in Heaven!

But before "binding" someone or failing to forgive him, one had better take notice, also from Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) words through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), that "14if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you! 15But, if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."

So forgiving our neighbors for things they may have done to hurt us is part of the key that the spiritual "banker" or Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) gives to His children to enter into His kingdom! The other part relates to how He sees us; He said, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ):

Except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of Heaven! (Matthew 5:20)

The "key" there is "our righteousness", which Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) said through Moses, is ours "if we observe to do all these commandments before Yahuah, our God"! (Deuteronomy 6:25) And, of course, He is talking, there, of "keeping", "observing", "guarding" or putting a value on the commandments of His torah through Moses! He said, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ):

If thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments! (Matthew 19:17)

And He was talking, there, about "eternal life"! (Matthew 19:16)

"Eternal life" in the presence of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) is one of the privileges He gives to those who enter His kingdom! He wrote, through His psalmist: "I will dwell in the house of Yahuah for ever!" (Psalm 23:6) And one can well understand why He wants the children of His who do enter into His kingdom to be "righteous"!

Having the "righteousness" (Deuteronomy 6:25) that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) imputes to those who "observe to do all these commandments before Yahuah, our God" (Verse 25), requires that one "observe", "keep", "guard" or put a value on the commandments of His torah through Moses, which translates into doing all that one can to please Him; and is that not the kind of person you like to have around you? especially "for ever"?

The same holds true of one's being willing to forgive those who have hurt him. Do you like to have around you people who hold grudges against others? Yahuah Hayah said, through Moses:

Thou shalt not avenge nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people! But thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself! (Leviticus 19:18)

So Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) "Key's of the Kingdom" (Matthew 16:19) are two: 1) Forgiving others and (2) having "righteousness" by putting a value on the commandments of His torah through Moses, which actually are only one, if a person realizes that forgiving or not avenging or holding a grudge against his neighbor is, simply, one more obedience to one of Yahuah's commandments, which is the basis on which He imputes "righteousness" to His children, by which, if it "shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees" "ye shall ... enter into the kingdom of Heaven!" (Matthew 5:20)

Obviously, Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) did not think much of "the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees"; and He expressed that abhorrence by explaining through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ):

2The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat: 3All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do! But do not ye after their works: for they say and do not! (Matthew 23:2 and 3)

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) how serious that deficiency in righteousness was by calling the "scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites" (Matthew 23:13) and saying, of them: "Ye shall receive the greater damnation!" (Verse 14)

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) reduced, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), one's obedience to His torah through Moses to being in one form or another one's obedience to only two key commandments - loving Him and loving one's neighbor - which He called "the First and Great Commandment" (Matthew 22:38) and "the second ... like unto it" (Verse 39) and then said: "On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets!" (Verse 40)

Forgiving others is, certainly, a form of loving them and of loving Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM), Who gave through Moses the commandment that we love them; and observing or putting a value on the commandments of His torah through Moses is, assuredly, the remainder of one's "observing", "keeping" or "guarding" "these two commandments"; so all of these efforts by Yahuah to get us to love Him by that means adds up to being His "keys of the Kingdom"! (Matthew 16:19)

So how the Christian church suppose that they can enter Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) kingdom while teaching Paul's blaspemies against Yahuah's torah through Moses is an amazement I have never been able to comprehend, except by seeing in it a form of insanity! Paul taught:

“Ye could not be justified by the law of Moses!” (Acts 13:39)

“The righteousness of God without the law is manifested.” (Romans 3:21)

“A man is justified, by faith, without the deeds of the law.” (Romans 3:28)

“Ye are not under the law.” (Romans 6:14)

“Ye ... are become dead to the law.” (Romans 7:4)

“We are delivered from the law.” (Romans 7:6)

“2If ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing! 3For I testify, again, to every man who is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. 4Christ is become of no effect unto you; whosoever of you are justified by the law, ye are fallen from grace!” (Galatians 5:2 to 4)

“Ye are not under the law." (Galatians 5:18)

“6touching the righteousness that is in the law, blameless! 7But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ! 8Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for Whom I have suffered the loss of all things and do count them but dung!” (Philippians 3:6 to 8)

“13You, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath He quickened together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross!” (Colossians 2:13 and 14 - 13)

I do not apologize, for making the members of Faith Harvest Israel wade through that terrible list every now and then; because the Christian church's belief is based upon Paul's teaching it; and, by our understanding of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) "keys of the kingdom" (Matthew 16:19), that belief lies outside the spiritual boundary set by Him in His giving of those keys.

But Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) "mercy is everlasting"! (Psalm 100:5) And, He being the first to understand the plight of His children's being led to believe such falsehood, He has softened His judgment upon such children - children who believe they are doing His will for them while ignoring the commandments of His torah through Moses - to the following statement through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ):

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of Heaven! But whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of Heaven. (Matthew 5:19)

From the stark difference between having "all these blessings" (Deuteronomy 28:1), which Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) said through Moses are "your life" (Deuteronomy 32:47) and suffering "all these curses" (Verse 15), which includes one's being "destroyed" (Verse 20), Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) judgment through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) upon His child according to whether he "shall break one of these least commandments and shall teach men so" or "do and teach them" is, at least, still, for the child to be brought "into the kingdom of Heaven" (Verse 20), the difference being the child's being called "great" or "least" in that kingdom.

But I do not recommend one play any kind of game with Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) in regard to one's "eternal life"! (Matthew 19:16) For Yahuah also said, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ): "if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments!" (Verse 17) And the other side of that coin is that failing to "keep", "observe", "guard" or put a value on the commandments of Yahuah's torah through Moses is to forfeit one's "eternal life".

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) accepting a child into His kingdom while calling him "least" must be predicated on the idea that children of His deluded into supposing that Paul's "righteousness of God without the law" (Romans 3:21) is Yahuah's "word" yet wanting in their hearts to please Paul's "God" is worthy of at least being accepted yet, because of their supposing that a presumed "apostle" has the authority by which to invalidate Yahuah's word through Moses and His "voice" (Deuteronomy 28:1) in their hearts, He will not regard them well, in His kingdom; Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) said, of Moses:

6Had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed Me! For he wrote of Me! 7But, if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe My words? (John 5:47)

God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life! (John 3:16)

If thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments! (Matthew 19:17)

One's believing Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) is Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) requirement for "everlasting life"! And He said that to enter into that life one must "keep the commandments"!

Yet Paul comes along, presumably teaching the "gospel" (Galatians 1:11) of a "Jesus Christ" (Verse 12) and declaring a "righteousness of God without the law"; so we must conclude that we have two "Christs" with Whom we are dealing, in the New Testament: 1) Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) Who from "the beginning" was and is God "the Word" (John 1:1), Who magnified "the law" and made it "honorable" (Isaiah 42:21); and Paul's "Jesus Christ" (Galatians 1:12), who gave Paul his gospel of a "righteousness of God without the law" (Romans 3:21), which grievous difference requires that we look carefully at Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) prophecy through Yeshua:

There shall arise false Christs and false prophets, who shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect! (Matthew 24:24)

The self-acclaimed "apostle Paul" did "great signs and wonders"; but we are then obliged to look at Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach's (the Messiah's or Christ's) words, when He said:

21Not every one who saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven but he who doeth the will of My Father Who is in Heaven! 22Many will say, to Me, in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? and in Thy name have cast out devils? and in Thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess, unto them, I never knew you: depart, from Me, ye who work iniquity! (Matthew 7:21 to 23)

We of Faith Harvest Israel love, worship and serve the God Who said, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ): "I am the way, the truth and the life! No man cometh unto the Father but by Me!" (John 14:6) And that "Jesus Christ" said:

2The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat: 3All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do! (Matthew 23:2 and 3)

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye pay tithe, of mint, anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law - judgment, mercy and faith! These ought ye to have done and not to leave the other undone! (Matthew 23:23)

Choose, this day, whom you will love, worship and serve: the "Jesus Christ" Who said He came to "not ... to destroy the law or the prophets ... but to fulfill" (Matthew 5:17) or Paul's "Jesus Christ" (Galatians 1:12), who taught through Paul that "ye could not be justified by the law of Moses" (Acts 13:39), along with all the other things he said to diminish the law and make it dishonorable.

I pray that this information I have given you is true in Yahuah Hayah's sight, that it can be stored in your spirit for great and beneficial use to you as the days go by and that we might hear from you now and then as you find it working its wonders in your life!

Father, by my "faith in God"! (Mark 11:22) I "speak" (Mark 11:23), to Your children, and command that they be given the knowledge and understanding of You by which to appreciate and be utterly grateful for the keys to Your kingdom that You have so graciously given them.

I know you answered this prayer, in ha Kodesh (the Holy) Ruach (Spirit), the moment I said it; so I believe I "receive" (Mark 11:24) even now a family of brothers and sisters who are rejoicing in their having used Your keys of the kingdom and tasted of the powerful goodness to which they lead!

I pray that Yahuah Hayah shall bless you mightily, throughout the coming week, and that you will realize in your heart how important you are to the ministry that He has given to Faith Harvest Israel to see that His truth is learned, believed and carried out by all His children throughout the world, so many of whom are in such desperate need of it.

Amen! Alleluia!
