Yahuah Hayah's Forgiveness

(Please note: This sermon can be directly accessed on the Internet at

Hi! I'm Pastor Floyd! I wish I had a photograph of you, too, so that I could visualize to whom I am talking! But Yahuah Hayah, the Self-Existent, Eternal I AM, the Creator of the universe and King over it, knows who you are; and that's all that matters!

At this point in your participation in the service, I recommend that you go to Sabbath Ritual and participate in the prayer in which we like to engage each week, as I do each morning, to avail ourselves of Yahuah Hayah's "Power of Agreement" (Matthew 18:19) for the basic things that all of us must have each day of our lives! Although repetitious and time-consuming, doing that will bless you, the fellowship and all of His children in the universe! It is what I call "getting prayed up"!

As for the thoughts that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) gave me for this Sabbath, He has returned me to the matter of His forgiveness, its being such a critical part of His offerings to us, His beloved children! He said, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ):

Except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of Heaven! (Matthew 5:20)

Most people assume that entering into Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s kingdom relates to when they die! But He also said, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ): "The kingdom of God is within you." (Luke 17:21)

So, if Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) "kingdom ... is within you", it is, hardly, a place of which we have no knowledge prior to dying, hopefully to go there; and, if it is here and now, within us, entering into it requires a time when we have not entered into it; and what goes into that entering or permits it is what we are going to look at most carefully today!

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) gave, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), "righteousness" as a key thing for one to have for entering His kingdom! And He gave us, very specifically, through Yeshua, through Moses, what causes Him to regard His children as having "our righteousness" (Deuteronomy 6:25) - "if we observe to do all these commandments before Yahuah, our God"! (Verse 25)

So we need "righteousness" to "enter into the kingdom of Heaven"; we need to "observe to do all these commandments" for Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) to see us as having that righteousness; and "observe" or "keep" mean to "guard" (Strong: Hebrew: 8104) or put a value on those commandments - specifically those that comprise His Torah or law through Moses!

So, in seeking to enter into Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) kingdom, one must come to a place in his life where he sees or understands how good Yahuah is, as our Creator of all and King over it, and how worthy He is of being served and pleased by one's putting that value on His commandments!

That is well and good; but one also must deal with the period of time in his life before he saw or understood Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) goodness and failed to put that value on Him or His commandments; and that period is, shamefully, the time during which we supposed that we could make it on our own without Him or without any particular regard for Him or His commandments; and, obviously, anyone in that frame of mind is not keeping them and is, therefore, "sinning"! He wrote, through His faithful apostle:

Sin is the transgression of the law! (1st John 3:4)

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) wisely anticipated that problem in His children and built into His Torah or law through Moses His "atonement"! (Numbers 15:27) He said, through Moses:

27 If any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering. 28 And the priest shall make an atonement, for the soul who sinneth ignorantly ... to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him. (Numbers 15:27 and 28)

For the person who is introduced for the first time to Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) "atonement" as a means to "be forgiven", the idea of God's requiring an animal to be sacrificed for a human being to be forgiven is, indeed, strange! because doing violence to an animal is abhorrent to most people; so the question arises: What does killing an animal have to do with anyone's "sin", to where it is to be brought as a "sin offering"? And, secondly, what has that violence to do with one's being "forgiven"?

Believe me, you are not alone, if you are asking such questions! People have been asking them for centuries; and, despite that persistent perplexity, they have seldom been given an adequate answer!

I struggled with that problem for years, until Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) finally took pity on me and showed me some verses in His Holy Bible that wonderfully cleared up the whole matter! He wrote, through His author, concerning the sacrifices of His Torah or law through Moses, that they were

a figure for the time then present ... that could not make him who did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience! (Hebrews 9:9)

Then, concerning His sacrificing of Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), His beloved "Word" (John 1:1) and "only begotten Son" (John 3:16), He wrote:

How much more shall the blood of Christ ... purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (Hebrews 9:14)

So the effect, both of the Torah's sacrifices and that of Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) related to one's "conscience", which is the translation of a word meaning "moral consciousness" (Strong: Hebrew: 4893) or one's sense of right and wrong!

Few of us will argue that violence is not wrong! And, when Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) child was commanded, in the ritual of His atonement, to see the ultimate wrong of taking the life of an animal, because he or a member of his family had sinned or broken a commandment of Yahuah's torah, the association was built up, over centuries, that sin always relates to violence!

Then, when Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) commanded Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), His beloved Son, to lay down His life (John 10:17 and 18) by allowing wicked men to torture and kill Him, this same abhorrence of violence that had been so long associated with an Israelite's having sinned was elicited with the violating of a sinless man, "Who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the Devil"! (Acts 10:38)

That violence to Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) brought home, to Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) children, the idea that all those sacrifices that He had commanded of them in association with their sins were types of this violence to Him! because Yeshua was His "express image"! (Hebrews 1:3) And, when people saw His Son hanging on the Roman cross of crucifixion, they also saw Him being violated; for Yeshua said:

He Who hath seen Me hath seen the Father! (John 14:9)

But why did Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) want His children to see Him on the cross by seeing Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) there?

A few people who saw that supremely grievous act knew that it was the result of men sinning against Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), Who "was God"! (John 1:1) And, again, sin was associated with violence against Him, Who is innocent, as sin had been associated with violence to an innocent animal in Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) ritual of the atonement!

So the atonement of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) Torah or law through Moses was to show the violence that He always suffers, when one of His children violates another! For Yahuah's Spirit is in the violated child, Who transmits the pain of the transgression to Him! Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) said:

I am ... come to call ... sinners to repentance! (Matthew 9:13)

The word "repent" (Matthew 4:17) is the translation of a word meaning to "think differently" (Strong: Greek: 3340) "Sin is the transgression of the law!" (1st John 3:4) So, Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) came "to call ... sinners" to thinking differently about transgressing Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) Torah or law through Moses or about breaking His commandments!

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) accomplished, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), that calling of sinners to repentance by His shed blood's purging " your conscience from dead works to serve the living God" (Hebrews 9:14), as the ultimate expression of His atonement, which had been, in the sacrifices of His Torah, an experience " that could not make him who did the service perfect as pertaining to the conscience"! (Verse 9)

So the object or purpose of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) commanding sacrifices had always been to "make him who did the service perfect as pertaining to the conscience"! And, when He sent Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) into the world, Yeshua said:

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy but to fulfill! (Matthew 5:17)

Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) fulfilled Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) Torah or law through Moses by allowing Himself to become the ultimate sacrifice of all time directly related to the sinning of His children, which showed, to the consciences of His children, how wrong sin is and how certain of Yahuah's children had been willing to sin against Him so unthinkably!

One of the strongest temptations to sin is to believe that one is above sinning - that he or she can do no wrong! But, when "all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death" (Matthew 27:1) and turned Him over to the Romans, who brutally scourged Him, beat and mocked Him, made Him carry His own cross and then crucified Him on it, never again could one suppose that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) children are above sinning! As a people we were humbled for all time to come, which is that "call ... to repentance" that Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach's (the Messiah's or Christ's) laying down His life was intended to accomplish!

So all of this suffering of innocent animals and finally of Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) Himself was to dramatize for Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) children His suffering in all sins committed by them, which invariably involves violence to Him and to the way He has made His creation to be! It does not work! It causes problems, which invariably come back upon the sinner, which He has called His "cursing"! He said, through Moses:

Yahuah shall send, upon thee, cursing, vexation and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed and until thou perish quickly, because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken Me. (Deuteronomy 28:20)

So, although the ritual of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) atonement was strange indeed, it had a high purpose, which was to bring His children back into cooperating with Him rather than walking contrary to Him; and, when they do repent, going back to "observe to do all these commandments before Yahuah, our God" (Deuteronomy 6:25), He looks upon them as having "our righteousness" (Verse 25), which is the state of His relationship with them in which He allows them to "enter into the kingdom of Heaven"! (Matthew 5:20)

That entering is not eventually, when Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) children die, but immediately, upon hearkening "diligently unto the voice of Yahuah, thy God, to observe and to do all His commandments" (Deuteronomy 28:1), when "all these blessings shall come on thee and overtake thee" (Verse 2), which are the amazing benefits of one's being in His kingdom; He said, to Abraham:

Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield and thy exceedingly great reward! (Genesis 15:1)

Those blessings were Abraham's, because His keeping Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) "commandments ... and ... law" (Genesis 26:5) qualified him to be in Yahuah's kingdom, which then was "within" (Luke 17:21) him, by the marvelous working of ha Kodesh (the Holy) Ruach (Spirit)! When Abraham died, he entered Yahuah's kingdom bodily! But he had been there; and it had been in him, by his allegience to it throughout his entire time of commitment to serve Yahuah!

That tying of the knot between Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) and His children is what His forgiveness is about! And the closest thing in their experience to that marvelous being "one" (John 17:22 and 23) with each other is in marrying one another, which caused Him to liken His relationship to them as His being "an husband unto them". (Jeremiah 31:32)

But Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) as He has expressed Himself through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) is the most marvelous Husband we ever can imagine, being, at one and the same time, our Creator, Brother, Friend, King, Savior and Redeemer! And I recommend Him to you, for the most amazing fulfillment of your life that you ever could imagine!

But another idea of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) forgiveness was introduced, into His Holy Bible, through the writings of Paul, which has nothing to do with one's conscience being affected by the violence that was done to Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) or with the strengthening of one's determination to return to keeping or putting a value on the commandments of Yahuah's Toraw or law! Rather, Paul's idea circumvents that purpose, by presumably offering a forgiveness by the mere fact of Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach's (the Messiah's or Christ's) dying on the cross in place of the sinner, the only thing needed, in Paul's view, being one's "faith in His [Jesus'] blood" (Romans 3:25) or one's belief that Yeshua's dying on the cross forgave everyone for all of their sins, the only thing needed from anyone presumably being that he accept that idea - have "faith in His blood" (Romans 3:25) - and appropriate for himself the presumed purpose for its being shed! Paul wrote:

All have sinned and come short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time, His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of him who believeth in Jesus! (Romans 3:23 to 26)

According to Paul, the person believing "in Jesus" or that Jesus justified everyone "freely by His grace", was "redeemed" by "the remission of sins ... through the forebearance of God"! And this idea is contrary to the one that Yahuah set forth through His author that the shedding of Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiach's (the Messiah's or Christ's) blood would "purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God"! (Hebrews 9:14)

Paul's interpretation of Yeshua's sacrificing of Himself was that He presumably suffered "the wages of sin" (Romans 6:23), which is "death" (Verse 23) in place of every man or woman who had ever sinned or who ever would sin. Pauline theologians have called that idea "Christ's substitutionary atonement"! And several things are wrong with that interpretation:

1. Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) commanded, in His Torah or law through Moses, that "every man shall be put to death for his own sin". (Deuteronomy 24:16) So, by His own law, God's presumably killing His own Son in place of His sinning children would have been a sin of its own!

2. A forgiveness based upon a punishment suffered by other than the sinner leaves the sinner with no need to account for his sin or to alter his behavior to align it with the commandments of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) Torah or law through Moses, which are "for our good always" (Deuteronomy 6:24), leaving the sinner presumably free to go on sinning, simply by appropriating to himself the other person's punishment presumably in his behalf as many times as he wishes!

3. "The judgments of Yahuah are true and righteous, altogether!" (Psalm 19:9) What is "true" or "righteous" in God's punishing His own Son in place of others who have sinned?

4. "Forgiveness" has nothing to do with punishment or the lack of it. Rather, it has to do with where one is permitted to be while one is enjoying the reward or suffering the punishment for right or wrong conduct that is inevitable! Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) said, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ): "With the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again!" (Luke 6:38) We learn this truth also from Yahuah's story through Yeshua of the highly indebted servant! (Matthew 18:23 to 35) The king's forgiving the servant did not free him from paying his debt; it merely permitted him to remain in the king's kingdom while he worked to repay his debt. Without that forgiveness, the indebted servant would have been "sold and his wife and children and all that he had and payment ... made"! (Verse 25)

As I have shown above, Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) forgiveness is critical to one's entering "into the kingdom of Heaven"! (Matthew 5:20) That makes one's understanding that truth and the "repentance" (Matthew 9:13) required for it critical to his entering into that kingdom! And that is why Satan corrupted Yahuah's Holy Bible with a teaching that derails the student from both the understanding and repentance that Yahuah sought through Yeshua to provide through Yeshua's laying down His life!

He who hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches! (Revelation 2:7)

I pray that this information I have given you is true in Yahuah Hayah's sight, that it can be stored in your spirit for great and beneficial use to you as the days go by and that we might hear from you now and then as you find it working its wonders in your life!

Father, by my "faith in God" (Mark 11:22), I "speak" (Mark 11:23), to Your children, and command that they be given the knowledge and understanding of Your truth by which to rejoice in the good work of Your atonement upon their consciences!

I rejoice (John 15:11) that You are faithful to fulfill Your children's powerful use of their "dominion ... over every living thing that moveth upon the Earth"! (Genesis 1:28) I know you answered this prayer, in ha Kodesh Ruach, Your Holy Spirit, the moment I said it; so I "believe" I "receive" (Mark 11:24), even now, a family of brothers and sisters who are rejoicing over the love You expressed for us, Your beloved children, in commanding Yeshua to lay down His life!

I pray that Yahuah Hayah shall bless you mightily, throughout the coming week, and that you will realize in your heart how important you are to the ministry that He has given to Faith Harvest Israel to see that His truth is learned, believed and carried out by all His children throughout the world, so many of whom are in such desperate need of it.

Amen! Alleluia!
