Yahuah Hayah's Feast of Trumpets

(Please note: This sermon can be directly accessed on the Internet at enterHiscovenant.com/Sabbath20160901.htm)

Hi! I'm Pastor Floyd! I wish I had a photograph of you, too, so that I could visualize to whom I am talking! But Yahuah Hayah, the Self-Existent, Eternal I AM, Creator of the universe and King over it, knows who you are; and that's all that matters!

At this point in your participation in the service, I recommend that you go to Sabbath Ritual and participate in the prayer in which we like to engage each week, as I do each morning, to avail ourselves of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) "Power of Agreement" (Matthew 18:19) for the basic things that all of us must have each day of our lives! Although repetitious and time-consuming, doing that will bless you, the fellowship and all of His children in the universe! It is what some people call "getting prayed up"!

As for the thoughts that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) gave me for this Sabbath, back when my wife and I were still raising our boys, when she had dinner ready, she had to let me know that it was; and then I had to call our three boys to the table, to enjoy whatever she had prepared for us.

Armies deal with lots of "boys"; and, when the officers in charge of them have wanted them to assemble for whatever reason, they have needed a way to let them know that their presence is required! The traditional instrument for doing that in our country's army has been the bugle, which is used to sound a particular call that the soldiers know means to assemble! And by the bugler's use of different calls, they can know even the reason for the assembly.

In His handling of the children of Israel, Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) knew that a similar method of calling them for different reasons would answer the necessity that existed that they be called for one reason or another; for "Yahuah said, unto Abram:" (Genesis 13:14)

I will make thy seed as the dust of the Earth, so that, if a man can number the dust of the Earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. (Genesis 13:14)

That would eventually become the case; but, even those children of Israel who followed Moses from Egypt were an impressive number of people; and occasions did arive when they had to be stirred to move! So Yahuah built His instruction for stirring them into His "everlasting" Torah, "law" and "covenant"! (Psalm 105:10) Except that He stipulated that they use "trumpets"! He said, through Moses:

1 The Lord spake, unto Moses, saying, 2 Make thee two trumpets of silver! Of a whole piece shalt thou make them, that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly and for the journeying of the camps! 3 And, when they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation! 4 If they blow but with one trumpet, then the princes, who are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves, unto thee. 5 When ye blow an alarm, then the camps that lie on the East parts shall go forward! 6 When ye blow an alarm the second time, then the camps that lie on the South side shall take their journey: they shall blow an alarm for their journeys! 7 But when the congregation is to be gathered together, ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound an alarm! 8 The sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be, to you, for an ordinance for ever, throughout your generations! 9 If ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets! Ye shall be remembered, before the Lord your God; and ye shall be saved from your enemies! 10 Also in the day of your gladness, in your solemn days and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets, over your burnt offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings, that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am Yahuah, your God! (Numbers 10:1 to 10)

People try to say that the "shofar" or ram's horn was used by the children of Israel in these observances; in fact Mirriam-Webster's definition of the "shofar" is that it is "a ram's-horn trumpet blown by the ancient Hebrews in battle and during religious observances and used in modern Judaism especially during Rosh Hashanah and at the end of Yom Kippur"!

But, as we have read above, Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) specifically required "trumpets of silver" for the calling of the assembly for whatever reason! So we must dismiss the use of the shofar as yet one more tradition added by the Hebrews to corrupt Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s original intent! He said, to Moses:

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation! (Leviticus 23:24)

With that background in mind, we are prepared to appreciate the particular use of the trumpets that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) required during one of His annual feasts - specifically, His "memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation" (Leviticus 23:24) or "a day of blowing the trumpets" (Numbers 29:1), which we of this fellowship are observing today, the 1st Day of September, which month we have adopted as the seventh of His months for "the congregation of Israel"! (Exodus 12:2)

With Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) Spring feasts being obvious commemorations of past events, bible scholars believe that His Fall feasts relate to events yet to be seen! And an event to which the New Testament writer Paul twice made reference, which he anticipated would include the blowing of a trumpet, is used as the probable prophetic reason for what people have come to call Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) "Feast of Trumpets"! Paul wrote:

51 We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump! For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised, incorruptible; and we shall be changed! (1st Corinthians 15:51 and 52)

15 We who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them who are asleep! 16 For the Lord Himself shall descend, from Heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God! And the dead in Christ shall rise first! 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (1st Thessalonians 4:15 to 17)

That event has for whatever reason taken on the popular term "rapture", when people believe Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) "Resurrection of Life" (John 5:29) will take place; but in view of the doctrinal problems involved in Paul's teachings, I refuse to give his prophecies much value! And I was confirmed, in this reservation, by Theodore Winston Pike, in his book Israel, Our Duty ... Our Dilemma, in which he recited an highly relevant parable that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) gave through Yeshua ha Mawshiyach, which shows what really will happen:

24 The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man who sowed good seed in his field! 25 But, while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares, among the wheat, and went his way! 26 So, when the blade was sprung up and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also! 27 Then the servants of the householder came and said, unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? From whence then hath it tares? 28 He said, unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said, unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say, to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn! (Matthew 13:24 to 30)

36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away and went into the house! And His disciples came, unto Him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field! 37 He answered and said, unto them: He who soweth the good seed is the Son of man! 38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom! But the tares are the children of the wicked one. 39 The enemy who sowed them is the Devil! The harvest is the end of the world! And the reapers are the angels! 40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so shall it be in the end of this world! 41 The Son of man shall send forth His angels; and they shall gather, out of His kingdom all things that offend and them who do iniquity 42 and shall cast them into a furnace of fire! There shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth! 43 Then shall the righteous shine forth, as the sun, in the kingdom of their Father! Who hath ears to hear, let him hear! (Matthew 13:36 to 43)

Please notice, that, whereas Paul taught his followers that they would be taken up out of the world, to "ever be with the Lord" (1st Thessalonians 4:15 to 17), Yeshua ha Mawshiyach taught that His followers would remain while "all things that offend and them who do iniquity" would be removed, leaving the faithful to "shine forth, as the sun, in the kingdom of their Father"!

Yeshua ha Mawshiyach spoke of two resurrections: "the Resurrection of Life" and the "the Resurrection of Damnation"! (John 5:29) And He has given us, through Yeshua ha Mawshiyach, through His faithful apostle John, some idea of how those events will take place:

4 I saw the souls of them who were beheaded for the witness of Jesus and for the word of God, and who had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads or in their hands; and they lived and reigned, with Christ, a thousand years! 5 This is the First Resurrection! But the rest of the dead lived not again, until the thousand years were finished! 6 Blessed and holy is he who hath part in the First Resurrection! On such the Second Death hath no power! But they shall be priests of God and of Christ and shall reign, with Him, a thousand years! (Revelation 20:4 to 6)

That "First Resurrection" appears to be Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) "Resurrection of Life"! (John 5:29) But then, in the same chapter, He speaks, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), through His faithful apostle John, of a judgment, which seems to involve all of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) children, even those who had "reigned with Christ a thousand years", presumably on Earth, where they had been left to "shine forth as the sun" (Matthew 13:43), who were "dead" physically, in that they had taken part in "the First Resurrection"! (Revelation 20:5)

12 I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God! The books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life! And the dead were judged out of those things that were written in the books, according to their works! (Revelation 20:12)

Then, in that same 20th Chapter of Revelation, Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) speaks, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), through His faithful apostle John, of a terrible judgment, which appears to me to include His "Resurrection of Damnation"! (John 1:29)

13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it; and Death and Hell delivered up the dead who were in them! And they were judged every man according to their works! 14 And Death and Hell were cast into the Lake of Fire! This is the Second Death! 15 Whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the Lake of Fire! (Revelation 20:13 to 15)

As for Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach's (the Messiah's or Christ's) return to Earth, that seems to correspond to the judgment spoken of above (Revelation 20:12); because His account of that return also involves a judgment, in which His children will be sent, either to a kingdom prepared for them or to everlasting punishment! And we find Him describing that return in two places!

30 Then shall appear the sign of the Son of man, in Heaven! And then shall all the tribes of the Earth mourn! And they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of Heaven with power and great glory! 31 And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet! And they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of Heaven to the other! (Matthew 24:30 and 31)

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of Heaven but My Father only! (Matthew 24:36)

That Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) would send His angels to "gather together His elect ... from one end of Heaven to the other" is confusing, in that according to His account through John His "elect" "lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years"! (Revelation 20:4) But that reign would only have been as resurrected beings, even as Yeshua is a resurrected being.

31 When the Son of man shall come in His glory and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory! 32 And before Him shall be gathered all nations! And He shall separate them, one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats! 33 And He shall set the sheep on His right hand but the goats on the left! 34 Then shall the King say, unto them on His right hand, Come, ye blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world! 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave Me meat! I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink! I was a stranger, and ye took Me in, 36 naked, and ye clothed Me: I was sick, and ye visited Me: I was in prison, and ye came unto Me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred and fed Thee? or thirsty, and gave Thee drink? 38 When saw we Thee a stranger and took Thee in? or naked, and clothed Thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick or in prison and came unto Thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say, unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these, My brethren, ye have done it unto Me! (Matthew 25:31 to 40)

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart, from Me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the Devil and his angels 42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave Me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave Me no drink 43 I was a stranger, and ye took Me not in: naked, and ye clothed Me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited Me not 44 Then shall they also answer Him, saying, Lord, when saw we Thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto Thee? 45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to Me! (Matthew 25:41 to 45)

46These shall go away into everlasting punishment but the righteous into life eternal! (Matthew 25:46)

This judgment corresponds to the judgment Yeshua ha Mawshiyach described through John, in that it involves "all nations"! (Matthew 25:32) And I would have to assume that "all nations" includes those who had been reigning with Him on Earth as resurrected beings for a thousand years! It is a beneficial judgment as well as a frightful one; and it could well have included His rewards for His children's having served Him so well!

Regardless of the glimpses of these events that the above scriptures provide, I am content to wait upon Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) to reveal clearly in His own good time why He wanted His children to observe His "memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation" (Leviticus 23:24) or "a day of blowing the trumpets"! (Numbers 29:1)

To anticipate some major event involving the blowing of trumpets on Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) Feast of Trumpets seems entirely reasonable, to me, particularly in view of Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach's (the Messiah's or Christ's) prophesying His own coming "with a great sound of a trumpet"! (Matthew 24:31) And Yeshua's account of His future trumpeted event is born out by all other prophecies except that of Paul, whose writings were, as usual, contrary to all other relevant scriptures!

I pray that this information I have given you is true in Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM)'s sight, that it can be stored in your spirit for great and beneficial use to you as the days go by and that we might hear from you now and then as you find it working its wonders in your life!

Father, by my "faith in God" (Mark 11:22), I "speak" (Mark 11:23), to Your children, and command that they be given the knowledge and understanding of Your Feast of Trumpets, to where they can appreciate why You have commanded them to observe it.

I rejoice (John 15:11) that You are faithful to fulfill Your children's powerful use of their "dominion ... over every living thing that moveth upon the Earth"! (Genesis 1:28) I know you answered this prayer, in ha Kodesh Ruach, Your Holy Spirit, the moment I said it; so I "believe" I "receive" (Mark 11:24), even now, a family of brothers and sisters who are rejoicing over the blessing of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) upon those who keep His commandments of the feast days, according to the best understanding they have of them.

I pray that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) shall bless you mightily, throughout the coming week, and that you will realize in your heart how important you are to the ministry that He has given to Faith Harvest Israel to see that His truth is learned, believed and carried out by all His children throughout the world, so many of whom are in such desperate need of it.

Amen! Alleluia!
