Yahuah Hayah's Love

(Please note: This sermon can be directly accessed on the Internet at

Hi! I'm Pastor Floyd! I wish I had a photograph of you, too, so that I could visualize to whom I am talking! But Yahuah Hayah, the Self-Existent, Eternal I AM, Creator of the universe and King over it, knows who you are; and that's all that matters!

At this point in your participation in the service, I recommend that you go to Sabbath Ritual and participate in the prayer in which we like to engage each week, as I do each morning, to avail ourselves of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) "Power of Agreement" (Matthew 18:19) for the basic things that all of us must have each day of our lives! Although repetitious and time-consuming, doing that will bless you, the fellowship and all of His children in the universe! It is what some people call "getting prayed up"!

As for the thoughts that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) gave me for this Sabbath, His love has no equal among any of His children! He said, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ): "A new commandment I give, unto you, that ye love one another as I have loved you!" (John 13:34) The "old" commandment for loving the neighbor was to love him "as thyself"! (Leviticus 19:18) And how one loves himself and how Yeshua loved us are two different considerations!

We know what we want; and loving our neighbor as ourselves requires only that we provide for our neighbor those same wants! But, when we go to loving as Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) loved us, the requirement goes much deeper! For He loved us enough to lay down His life for us; and that takes some doing on the part of us who want things and, working to fulfill those wants, certainly do not want to die!

But Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) said, to His disciples: "As My Father hath sent Me, even so send I you!" (John 20:21) And, to prepare them for that commission: He had said: "whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be My disciple." (Luke 14:27) And His apostle Peter wrote:

21 Even hereunto were ye called! Because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow His steps! 22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in His mouth 23 Who, when He was reviled, reviled not again! When He suffered, He threatened not but committed Himself to Him Who judgeth righteously! 24 Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness, by Whose stripes ye were healed! (1st Peter 2:21 to 24)

So Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach's (the Messiah's or Christ's) going to the cross for His enemies is an "example" for us - "As My Father hath sent Me", He said - as we go forth to love our enemies. And the question immediately arises: "Why? Why are we, too, being required to lay down our lives? What is the point of such sacrificing of ourselves?"

On His way to the cross, Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) said, to Peter: "52Put up again thy sword into its place! For all they who take the sword shall perish with the sword. 53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He shall presently give Me more than twelve legions of angels? 54 But how, then, shall the scriptures be fulfilled that thus it must be?" (Matthew 26:52 to 54)

Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach's (the Messiah's or Christ's) reaction to Peter's trying to defend Him gives us one reason why laying down one's life is the Father's will: Taking up the sword to return violence for violence only guarantees one's perishing, whereas committing ourselves "to Him Who judgeth righteousnly" returns our life to us, even having laid it down, if that was the will of our enemy against us; and I believe that Yeshua's return as a gloriously resurrected man was to show us how righteously the Father did judge His Son for His faithful obedience! But it still is a hard way to go! Yeshua sweat "blood" (Luke 22:44) simply contemplating it.

So, perhaps, by looking at the good that Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach's (the Messiah's or Christ's) sacrifice of Himself did can we perceive why that is being asked of us! Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) wrote, through His author: "How much more shall the blood of Christ ... purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?" (Hebrews 9:14)

Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) said: "I am ... come to call ... sinners to repentance!" (Matthew 9:13) Seeing what wicked men did to the innocent Son of God "purged" the hearts of "sinners" of all false notions that sin is alright, that its consequences are not overly grievous! For mankind will never be the same, having witnessed such a monstrous atrocity!

But many generations were to follow what happened to Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ); and they would need to be reminded of what sin does to innocent beings; so we disciples of Yeshua are commanded to lay down our lives as well, to reaffirm the "example" that Yeshua set, that the consciences of even more of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) beloved children be purged "from dead works to serve the living God"! For the need goes on! Yeshua said: "Till Heaven and Earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled!" (Matthew 5:18)

Can we say that "all has been fulfilled", when untold millions of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) beloved children are still violating Him with their daily sinning?

In Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) Torah or law is where He offers His "atonement"! (Numbers 15:28) He wrote, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), through Moses: "The life of the flesh is in the blood! And I have given it, to you, upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls!" (Leviticus 17:11)

It was only when an Israelite brought His "sin offering" (Numbers 15:27) for the "atonement" (Verse 28) that Yahuah said: "It shall be forgiven him." (Verse 28) For the sinner had been obliged to watch the priest bleed an innocent animal to death because the sinner had sinned, which was a type of the Father's suffering each time one of His children sins, His hope being that the sinner's remorse over causing the death of that innocent animal would deter him from sinning again!

A young woman unburdened herself, to me, concerning trouble she had had with her father! She knew he wanted his daughter back, having lost her by his mistreating her; and she laid out, in harsh terms, a long list of demands she planned to make on him, to restore their relationship! Then, finally, she stopped and asked me: What do you think? And I groaned, in my spirit! For I knew how difficult it would be to get over to her the necessity of coming to her father without demands, simply loving him despite the hurts he had given her, to where she would fulfill in him the saying: "We love Him, because He first loved us!" (1st John 4:19)

Would this father love his daughter because she first loved Him?

The demands that the daughter planned to make on her father were countermeasures against him. They were hurtful, because they dwelled upon his mistakes with her, which were occasioned by other hurts he had received from others over the years of his life. So when is the chain reaction of one person's hurting another ever to stop? Who is willing to let it stop with him, while turning it around by returning good for evil? Yeshua said:

44 Love your enemies, bless them who curse you, do good to them who hate you, and pray for them who despitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that ye may be the children of your Father Who is in Heaven: for He maketh His sun to rise, on the good and on the evil, and sendeth rain, on the just and on the unjust! (Matthew 5:44 and 45)

Howard Storm wrote, of "Jesus", Whom we call "Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ)": "His love was greater than all human love put together! His love totally enveloped me, and I realized that He was indescribably wonderful - goodness, power, knowledge and love! He was more loving than one can begin to imagine or describe! Jesus did indeed love me." (32210200 Howard Storm's Gospel, Paragraph 060)

God's love is given without cost or strings attached. We live lovingly because God loves us so much! (32210200 Howard Storm's Gospel, Paragraph 103)

Our purpose is to know and do God's will in this life, and we do this when we love one another as God loves us! (32210200 Howard Storm's Gospel, Paragraph 113)

Only this godly kind of love has the power to overcome Satan's and the world's will to sin or to hurt Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) and His children! And we are a long way from obtaining that victory! And that is why Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) said: "Till Heaven and Earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled!" (Matthew 5:18)

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) Torah or law through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) through Moses contains His commandment to love "as thyself" (Leviticus 19:18) and then Yeshua upgraded that commandment to include "as I have loved you" (John 13:34) But, if we take a careful look at the original commandment to love, we find that it, too, contained loving the enemy, which was the way Yeshua loved; for the original commandment begins:

Thou shalt not avenge nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people! (Leviticus 19:18)

Who other than one's "enemy" would he want to "avenge" or "bear any grudge against"?

Enemies hurt! And the hurt causes us to "avenge" or bear grudges, unless we have been convinced, by Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) words through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), that His way is critically preferable, which is the way of His supreme love for His children!

Brother Storm quoted "Jesus" or Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) as saying: “I came to accept you as you are! In My love there was no barrier or limit! I embraced you and everything that you are – both love and hate, good and evil!” (32210200 Howard Storm's Gospel, Paragraph 250)

Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach's (the Messiah's or Christ's) apostle Peter explained that Yeshua's conduct among His children was for "an example, that ye should follow His steps" (1st Peter 2:21), which is why He commanded His children that they love "as I have loved you"! (John 13:24)

So to know how Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) loved His children when He came to teach them is vital to our effectively loving one another and even our enemies! And that requires that we do what is not natural to us, which is to protect our interests! Or is that "natural to us"? Have we not been "created ... in the image of God"? (Genesis 1:27)

Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) said that, when we start out, we are among "one of these little ones who believe in Me"! (Matthew 18:6) Why would we not believe in our Creator with His having made us "in His own image"? (Genesis 1:27)

But Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) said, of "these little ones": "Whoso shall offend one of these little ones who believe in Me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea!"

So "these little ones" can be "offended" or enticed to sin! (Strong: Greek: 4624) And, having been commanded to love our enemies as Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) loved His, our failure to love them is "sin", which is to transgress the law! (1st John 3:4), which is not natural to us who were made in His image but is a course of action that we are taught to do by Satam by one or more of his servants, which is to look after our own interests and never mind the neighbor, let alone our enemy!

For this reason I abhor Paul's teaching that "17 it is no more I that do it but sin that dwelleth in me ... 20 Now, if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin, which dwelleth in me." (Romans 7:17 and 20) That was Paul's effort to absolve himself of his responsibility for the sinful things that he had done in his life, which is an extremely dangerous doctrine to accept! For, if one does not feel responsible for having sinned, he will not repent of that sin; and without repentance, there is no forgiveness "to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"! (1st John 1:9) And, without "righteousness", "ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of Heaven"! (Matthew 5:20)

The "flesh" in which Paul alleges "dwelleth no good thing" (Romans 7:18) was created by Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM), Who "saw every thing that He had made, and, behold, it was very good"! (Genesis 1:31) So from where was Paul coming, teaching that in our "very good" bodies "dwelleth no good thing"?

Paul sinned, "breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord"! (Acts 9:1) But that was not natural to him; he had to be inticed to do that; and he was responsible for having done it. But, under the false Christ (Matthew 24:24) he was serving, he had it all turned around, virtually blaming God for his having sinned, for there being "no good thing" in the "very good" body that God had given him.

But Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) said, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), through Moses: "Choose life!" (Deuteronomy 30:19) And Paul was responsible for his choice to sin, not "sin, which dwelleth in me". (Romans 7:20) He was never brought "into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members" (Verse 23), which is a teaching of "the Devil", who is "a liar"!

"Jesus" or Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) told Brother Howard: "You can save the world!" But Brother Howard replied: "I don't think so. I'm nobody, and I'm not going to save the world. People who thought they were going to save the world are nuts. Most of them, like Hitler and Napoleon, were maniacs who did more harm than good. How could I save the world?" Yeshua's simple reply was: "When you love a person, they will love the next person they meet, and they will love the next person they meet, and so on." (32210200 Howard Storm's Gospel, Paragraphs 289 to 293)

So Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) commandments to love one's neighbor and even one's enemy were commandments simply to be natural, to do your thing as one of His beloved children! So Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach's (the Messiah's or Christ's) coming to teach us was not to give us new information but simply to remind us of what we were created to be and do, which is to be God-like or "in His image" (Genesis 1:17) and simply to do what He would do and which He did do, when He came to walk among us.

Responding correctly to Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach's (the Messiah's or Christ's) reminder, we enter into "righteousness" (Deuteronomy 6:25; Matthew 5:20); and that lets us "into the kingdom of Heaven" (Matthew 5:20), not yet in our bodies but in our "citizenship", if you will; for Yeshua said: "The kingdom of God is within you." (Luke 17:21)

I pray that this information I have given you is true in Yahuah Hayah's sight, that it can be stored in your spirit for great and beneficial use to you as the days go by and that we might hear from you now and then as you find it working its wonders in your life!

Father, by my "faith in God"! (Mark 11:22) I "speak" (Mark 11:23), to your children, and command that they be given, by Your Holy Bible and Your voice in their spirits, the knowledge and understanding of Your love, so that their activities will reflect that love.

I rejoice (John 15:11) that you are faithful to fulfill your children's powerful use of their "dominion ... over every living thing that moveth upon the Earth"! (Genesis 1:28) I know you answered this prayer, in ha Kodesh Ruach, your Holy Spirit, the moment I said it; and I believe I "receive" (Mark 11:24) a family of brothers and sisters who are rejoicing over the wonderful blessings and eternal life that practicing Your love brings them.

I pray that Yahuah Hayah shall bless you mightily, throughout the coming week, and that you will realize in your heart how important you are to the ministry that He has given to Faith Harvest Israel to see that His truth is learned, believed and carried out by all His children throughout the world, so many of whom are in such desperate need of it.

Amen! Alleluia!
