Yahuah Hayah's Works

(Please note: This sermon can be directly accessed on the Internet at

Hi! I'm Pastor Floyd! I wish I had a photograph of you, too, so that I could visualize to whom I am talking! But Yahuah Hayah, the Self-Existent, Eternal I AM, the Creator of the universe and King over it, knows who you are; and that's all that matters!

At this point in your participation in the service, I recommend that you go to Sabbath Ritual and participate in the prayer in which we like to engage each week, as I do each morning, to avail ourselves of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) "Power of Agreement" (Matthew 18:19) for the basic things that all of us must have each day of our lives! Although repetitious and time-consuming, doing that will bless you, the fellowship and all of His children in the universe! It is what some people call "getting prayed up"!

As for the thoughts that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) gave me for this Sabbath, a dear friend of mine who had been greatly concerned with the spiritual welfare of his adult children called me, the other night and told me that Yahuah Hayah had spoken to him and shown him that, if he would look at the good they were doing rather than what they were saying about themselves, the burden he had been carrying concerning them would be considerably relieved! And He reminded him of this parable:

28 A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard 29 He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. 30 And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not 31 Whether of them twain did the will of his father? (Matthew 21:28 to 31)

Obviously, the son who worked in his father's vineyard "did the will of his father", regardless of his words to the contrary! Likewise, although the other son expressed his willingness to work, his failing to do so was certainly not his father's will; and in His giving this parable, Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) was again emphasizing the importance of one's doing the will of his father, especially that of Yeshua's "Father Who is in Heaven"! (Matthew 7:21) For He said:

Not every one who saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven but he who doeth the will of My Father Who is in Heaven! (Matthew 7:21)

The emphasis there is upon one's doing the will of Yeshua's Father in Heaven, one's failure to do so being a hinderance to his entering "into the kingdom of Heaven"! So who can insist otherwise?

The Christians lean, heavily, upon Paul's "faith in His blood" (Romans 3:25) as the key to "the remission of sins" (Verse 25) that presumably permits one to "enter into the kingdom of Heaven"; and as a result of that false assurance they discount the importance of "works" in matters pertaining to salvation! But Yeshua has made "he who doeth the will of My Father Who is in Heaven' the one who can rest assured of that highly coveted entrance! And doing something is a "work"!

Furthermore, Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) based one's participation in Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) resurrections on one's works, saying:

28 The hour is coming, in which all who are in the graves shall hear His voice, 29 and shall come forth, they who have done good, unto the Resurrection of Life, and they who have done evil, unto the Resurrection of Damnation! (John 5:28 and 29)

There, again, is made critical even to one's participation in Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) resurrections what His children "have done"!

But this emphasizing of the importance of works must not be understood to mean that words are any less important: indeed, the entire creation was brought into being by Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach's (the Messiah's or Christ's) having spoken it into existence! For Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) reporter wrote:

God said, Let there be light: and there was light. (Genesis 1:3)

In fact, so important are one's words that Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) said, of them:

Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment! (Matthew 12:36)

If even an "idle word" will require an accounting "in the day of judgment", what of serious words, those spoken by one who believes they are true?

Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) spoke of those kinds of words, in His telling His disciples about their use of the "dominion" that all of us are given "over every living thing that moveth upon the Earth"! (Genesis 1:28) He said:

22 Have faith in God! 23 For verily I say, unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things that he saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith! 24 Therefore, I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. (Mark 11:22 to 24)

Do the words we say have importance in relation to salvation?

If I should say, "I have sinned too many times. I cannot be saved." And, if I believed that those things that I said will come to pass, will I not have what I have said?

In saying such a thing, I would have refused the assurance that Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) gave His disciples, when He taught them to pray: "forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors!" (Matthew 6:12) And again:

If ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you! (Matthew 6:15)

Did Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) mean that? Or was He simply passing the time of day?

So both the works and the words that Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) gave His beloved children to use in their daily lives determine where they come out, having lived their lives doing and speaking what they will! For He judges us both on our works and our words; "and their works do follow them" (Revelation 14:13), as attested by these words of Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ):

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of Heaven! But whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of Heaven. (Matthew 5:19)

I would love to be "called great in the kingdom of Heaven", wouldn't you?

But on the authority of God's word our spiritual destiny is determined by what we "shall break" or what we "do and teach" in relation to the "commandments" of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) Torah or law! So our works have a lot to do with what we will experience in Heaven, if indeed we make it to Heaven, having done our works or spoken our words believing them; for Yahuah wrote, through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ), through His faithful apostle John:

All liars, shall have their part in the lake that burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the Second Death! (Revelation 21:8)

Indeed, one can do things deceptively as well as to say them; and Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) abhors insincerity, having said through Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ): "I am the way, the truth and the life! No man cometh unto the Father but by Me!" (John 14:6)

Indeed, "the strait gate" (Matthew 7:13) "which leadeth unto life" (Verse 14) is entered only by those who "worship Him in spirit and in truth" (John 4:24), which is why that gate is so "strait ... and narrow"! (Matthew 7:14)

But what did Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) mean by specifying worship "in spirit and in truth" as the only "way" to the Father?

People can go through the motions of worship to impress others around them without meaning it in their spirits, its being either the "truth" of their regard for their Creator and King or a lying misrepresentation of their hate for Him; and He allows for no inbetween! Either one loves the One Who created him or he does not; and "God, Who knoweth the hearts" (Acts 15:8) knows exactly where we are in that critical regard.

But why does one love or hate the One Who created him?

Sometimes it is a matter of what one is led to believe, which is why I lived indifferently to our Creator for so many years! An English teach in a college I was attending taught me and the rest of his class "semantics", which insists that we assign to any word the meaning we want for it, making it useless to convey truth, which cannot be whatever one assigns to it. Truth is truth; and nothing we do has anything to do with changing what has been done!

So in my corrupted view the bible was useless in giving anyone the truth about our Creator, since it exists only by the words used in the writing of it. Only after I had bowed my knee and committed myself to serving Him did Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) show me that He had assigned to the words He has given us the meaning that He intended for each of them, which is why His Holy Bible is reliable, except for parts of it that have been corrupted by His children, especially the writings of Paul, who Wrote things "hard to be undersoot"! (2nd Peter 3:16), among which are His writing: "Ye are not under the law" (Romans 6:14; Galatians 5:18), when Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) wrote, through His psalmist:

8 He hath remembered His covenant for ever, the word that He commanded to a thousand generations, 9 which covenant He made with Abraham and his oath unto Isaac 10 and confirmed the same unto Jacob, for a law, and to Israel, for an everlasting covenant! (Psalm 105:8 to 10)

In His Torah or law Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) warned that "if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of Yahuah, thy God, to observe to do all His commandments" (Deuteronomy 28:15) every kind of destruction imaginable would follow! And then Christians wonder why they are forever having to pray for illness and death among their members! And there, again, is the doing of "all His commandments", which are the doing of His "will", which one must "observe", "guard" (Strong: Hebrew: 8104) or put a value on. That is all He ever asked, that His children simply try their best to please Him, with hearts grateful for the life that He has given them.

Obviously, parts of Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah's (I AM's) Torah or law can no longer be done! He has removed, from His children, the temple at which the sacrificial rituals had to be done; but one can understand and appreciate why He wanted them done; and that is "keeping", "observing", "guarding" or putting a value on them, which still satisfies what He wanted in that observance!

So, if one cannot do "the works" of certain commandments, he still can recognize the value of that doing, which is the "observance" of that doing for which He ever looks in the hearts of His children! The sacrificing of animals was a foreshadowing of Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach's (the Messiah's or Christ's) making of Himself a sacrifice to "purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God"! (Hebrew 9:14)

A "purged" conscience is a "repentant" one; and Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) said:

I am ... come to call ... sinners to repentance! (Matthew 9:13)

Sinners "sin", which is "the transgression of the law"! (1st John 3:4) And "repent" (Matthew 4:17) means to "think differently"! (Strong: Greek: 3340) So Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) came to call sinners to "think differently" about their "transgression" of "the law"!

Repentant sinners "confess" their sins; and Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) wrote, through His faithful apostle: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness!" (1st John 1:9) And Yeshua (Jesus) ha Mawshiyach (the Messiah or Christ) said that "righteousness" is what one must have to "enter into the kingdom of Heaven"! (Matthew 5:20)

All of the above is based upon what one has both said and done! And, if one has any intention of continuing in "righteousness", he needs to consider that "it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before Yahuah, our God"! (Deuteronomy 6:25) And there, again, is the "observe" that He continually asks of His children, which simply means to "guard" (Strong: Hebrew: 8104), to put a value on or do one's best to fulfill! Can anything be more reasonable?

Yahuah (Self-Existent, Eternal) Hayah (I AM) wrote, through His psalmist: "Make me to understand the way of Thy precepts! So shall I talk of Thy wondrous works!" (Psalm 119:27)

I pray that this information I have given you is true in Yahuah Hayah's sight, that it can be stored in your spirit for great and beneficial use to you as the days go by and that we might hear from you now and then as you find it working its wonders in your life!

Father, by my "faith in God"! (Mark 11:22) I "speak" (Mark 11:23), to your children, and command that they be given the knowledge, understanding and desire to do Your will by the keeping of Your commandments and by the doing of them the best that they can!

I rejoice (John 15:11) that you are faithful to fulfill your children's powerful use of their "dominion ... over every living thing that moveth upon the Earth"! (Genesis 1:28) I know you answered this prayer, in ha Kodesh Ruach, your Holy Spirit, the moment I said it; and I believe I "receive" (Mark 11:24) a family of brothers and sisters who are rejoicing over the wonderful blessings and eternal life in your awesome presence that await those among them who observe to do that which You have asked of them in Your Torah or law!

I pray that Yahuah Hayah shall bless you mightily, throughout the coming week, and that you will realize in your heart how important you are to the ministry that He has given to Faith Harvest Israel to see that His truth is learned, believed and carried out by all His children throughout the world, so many of whom are in such desperate need of it.

Amen! Alleluia!
